Outstanding. My initial conversation with Jennifer last week was very pleasant and after noting that the first available appointment was a Tuesday morning after a holiday weekend, she kindly offered to attempt to fit us in if an opening occurred in their schedule. I assured her that our plumbing situation was not urgent but that I appreciated her offer to call back if that changed. Promptly at 8 AM as arranged, Technician Steve Gabler appeared and we did a quick walk-through of the job. Steve did a quick assessment of our water pressure, determined it was excessive and likely due to the failure of our PRV and/or T & P. He had the necessary parts & tools with him and quickly and efficiently set about to resolve the problem. Steve was courteous, professional, honored my Angie's List coupon and by requesting that I call him if any problems occur; went the extra mile to ensure that I was a satisfied O'Neill Plumbing customer. Thank you all to a great team and I will certainly recommend your company and contact you if I need future plumbing service.

The plumber was very knowledgeable on issue, and let me know that the toilet didn't have the proper mounting on tile floor, the reason for it wobbling as it was a Toto brand and didn't use American style mounts. The toilet didn't appear to have any leaks so re-seating and re-caulking was sufficient to solve the issue. Ideal solution would either have been to install the proper mounting (but that would require additional work to drill into tile flooring to install) or to get a new toilet with American mounts. The work was good, but on the pricey side, for about 1.25 hrs of work.

We had a kitchen drainage issue, requiring clearing the sewage line deep within the house. I am very impressed with the quality of service received by O’Neill Plumbing. John came over and quickly assessed the problem, was a great communicator, and quickly resolved the issue to keep time on the clock to a minimum. Would definitely hire again!

Excellent, plumber arrived immediately saw water in ceiling, went upstairs to investigate bathroom directly above spotted problem. New fill valve, seal, and supply riser installed. Leaking resolved within minutes and all traces of water blistering to ceiling gone. Dry wall will have to be replaced, but problem resolved.

I have copper supply lines and wanted to replace an old outdoor hose bib. Inside the house, the supply pipe was right next to (almost behind) a newer large demand water heating system, and the cold water supply pipe touches the 3/4" natural gas supply line feeding into my demand water heater. Changes were needed in the water supply pipe to adapt the new hose bib. Needless to say, open flames and sweat fitting next to that large active gas supply line was inadvisable, to say the least. O'Neill Plumbing installed a no-solder cold press fitting system for 3/4" copper pipe that is fast, reliable and retains the copper continuity of the system. The plumber installed the fitting, extended the pipe to a position where he could install the new hose bib, and adjusted the length so the hose bib fit perfectly on a wood "bib block" trim piece (which I bought in advance from a hardware store) that makes the final installed hose bib look very professional. I had another problem with a drain pipe from the kitchen sink, where--in the basement--the pipe had separated from the feed pipe going towards the sewer line. I asked him to look at that, though it was not included in the original job. He looked at it, made a good-looking and tight repair, and added a few minutes to the time. The overall bill was within my planned budget, and my house water supply was shut off only for a short time during the copper pipe repair. I'm very satisfied.

Great. They were able to come very quickly and did all the work the same day. The plumber was really friendly and courteous and got the work done as quickly as possible. He was able to diagnose the source of our leak and get it all taken care of.

James and his team were very professional and knowledgeable. They replaced our old pipes with new copper pipes and stayed until the job was done right. They also replaced our outside hose bibs, fixed our broken garbage disposal and installed our new toilet. A little pricey but it was a tough job. Would definitely hire them again!

They were able to fix the leak very fast. I asked about replacing our bibs in the future and he described how to prep ahead of time, e.g. where and how big to cut a hole in the wall, and said it should be only a half hour of work with that -- much cheaper than I've seen that quoted elsewhere. Very friendly.

Punctual, professional, efficient. I would hire again in a heartbeat! The first attempt with a 25ft. snake did not solve the problem. Then used 100ft snake to unclog drain at about 70ft.

Steve from O'Neill arrived, got the lay of the land and quickly got to work. I was very happy that he was very efficient as the rate is by the hour. Steve quickly identified that we would need new angle stops, got them installed and proceeded to very quickly get the new faucet installed. He then moved on to the slow draining sinks (3) and dispatched those lickety-split. All the work was complete in one hour. Overall I'm very satisfied and will definitely use O'Neill again. Plumbing work is expensive, but I'm glad to know O'Neill's ethic is to get as much done as they can quickly, to minimize cost to consumer.

I was given a 10am-12pm window. Steve showed up at 10:30. Very professional (and considerate, took of his shoes). He diagnosed the problem pretty quickly, went out to buy a few parts, installed them and all was done in less than an hour. So, service: great. But $280/hour?? That's way more than anybody else. Maybe the first hour is billed at a premium for showing up? Look like the business owner reads reviews here so maybe he can confirm? Also: just get rid of the 'live chat assistant', it is so clearly not a human that it's insulting, it's also pretty useless.

As for our rates, we are not the highest hourly shop around. I'd rather not name any other companies here, but for those that are still charging by the half hour, as we do, we are middle of the price range. 80-90% of service companies charge a flat rate for any project, whether its for a faucet repair, clearing a drain, or even much larger complicated jobs. This flat rate is at a high enough rate to cover all the unforeseen issues that may arise. We just don't believe in this, nor do we think its fair to you, our customer. Sorry for the chat assistant, although it is indeed a live person, I agree, at times not as helpful as I'd like them to be. Very sincerely, Tim"

They had provided us an arrival window of 2-4pm. The technician arrived late at 4:30pm. The technician found that the pump had overheated and needed replacement. He happened to have one in his truck and replaced the old one right away. Professionalism was very good. We paid by credit card. Looking at the invoice/bill, we are a bit surprised by the labor rate charged (about half our total cost) but overall, we are glad that this problem was found and fixed in time.

Two plumbers came. They were about 30 minutes late but had called ahead to let me know, no big deal. Took them about 45m to completely replace the toilet and haul the old one away. Works as expected. They did a great job, but seems a little pricey.

I was very impressed with O'Neill Plumbing as a company, I have to call 4 other companies, but got a callback after 2 hours later from O'neill Plumbing, and they had me scheduled for Friday 10/12 at noon. I originally called them just to figure out what was wrong with my kitchen faucet. John came out and was very nice. He determined the faucet needed to be completely replaced. The price for this visit was reasonable. I then purchased the faucet with the intent of having a family member replace it for me. I ended up needing O'Neill plumbing to come back to do the install as well. They scheduled the second appointment quickly, I requested they send John back. He came back and had the faucet replaced in just about an hour. He was quick and efficient.

I've used O'Neill several times, usually with okay results. The sewer pipe replacement went well. the kitchen sink replacement went badly. The plumber who showed up complained about plumbing under the sink installed by a previous O'Neill plumber, futzed around with the plumbing and made it worse than his colleague did, asked me to help him lift and position the sink and hold it while he caulked it, and then gave my wife a bill for $1000 after I left late for work. I called the next day and spoke with the owner, Tim O'Neill. To his credit, Tim was quite reasonable to deal with and we agreed on a compromise price of $450. It all depends which particular plumber comes to your house. If you find one you like, ask for him for future work.

Everything was great. Communication from the owner and scheduler was amazing. Our plumber arrived on time and was professional, courteous and fast. We're very pleased and will use them again. The price was reasonable for the service we received. In the past, we've hired "cheap" plumbers off Craigslist or Yelp, and the old saying stands: You get what you pay for. We ended up paying more because they were slow and performed work we didn't need. Good plumbers aren't cheap, but it's worth paying for experience, quality and honesty. Your plumbing is too important to put in the hands of hacks.
