Groundworks

Had Groundworks install a drainage system and sump pump in our home’s crawl space. Anthony and his crew, Jordon, Uriel, and James were Outstanding. It was a three day job. They were on time every day and worked their tails off each day. It was a muddy job in cramped quarters. They never complained. Anthony kept me updated on the progress they made each day. Anthony shared pictures of the job as it progressed. They cleaned up the job site each day. Anthony went over all the details at the completion of the job and answered all of my questions. The whole process was Great. From the initial inspection done by Kristy to the office staff and the installation. The communication was also Great. I highly recommend Groundworks for a complete and thorough job.

Groundworks did a great job getting us through the design, permit, and installation. The construction team, lead by Marcos, did a great job communicating with us what as the project was installed. They did such a good job cleaning and replacing the dirt that you?d never know they were here. Great job!

Charles, Ty W., and Ty G. performed beyond expectation. They finished the job ahead of schedule and communicated well throughout the entire process. I will definitely contract with them again for any future project.

I just had the BEST experience with Groundworks, working with Brian Eames, and the crew of Alex, Iuri and Luis. My project was a big project consisting of installation of approximately 40 pier piles, pin piles and helical piles to my foundation, in order to better anchor my home to the bedrock (I live on a hill). I was EXTREMELY nervous about the project and planned for it for a year and a half. Brian consistently calmed my fears every step of the way, and each time I had a question, he took as much time as needed to give me all the answers and reassure me. When my project finally occurred last week, I was immediately comforted by the presence of the crew - Alex, Iuri and Luis. They were professional, respectful, kind, and explained everything in detail before they started on the project to alleviate any concerns I had. Gardner came to do an inspection of my basement and provide a quote. I had received other quotes that only provided for a single sump pump install at outrageous prices. He was very thorough, took two hours to measure, inspect, provided videos and explanations on everything, and the quote was shockingly affordable with so much more work I was ecstatic! I am getting a three sump pump with back up battery, and so much more for basically what the others quoted. And, to have the option to finance through Greensky was the cherry on top! If you are in King County, ask for Gardner @ GROUNDWORKS - you won’t regret it!

Groundworks were contracted to encapsulate the crawl space, with a dehumidifier, intellijacks & sump pump. The inspector showed us pictures & videos of what the work would look like on completion, & explained how each solution would be installed. They tried to charge me more for vent covers until I showed them the contract covering this part. The foreman told me there was a reset button for the sump pump to be installed on an exterior wall, but they did not install it, instead said they would put in a service order. I haven?t heard anything about this issue yet. When they installed the moister barrier, they excluded the cement pads I was told it cost extra to have them covered. When I signed the contract, I was never told there would be extra charges for vent covers or cement pads to be covered. The contract I signed covered a complete encapsulation, but this is not what I got. This is a bait & switch. I would not recommend Groundworks.

Small post pier job. Told the two different estimators I?d like it level as possible with no further sinking. Two low spots the put in two beams. Around 340 sq feet. When finished the supervisor came in and I pointed out a small divot in .one area and a larger in the other. His response was to do this right you need a half a beam here and another there. I said no one had told me this! I called office Dec 11 talked to manager who offered to fix this for cost of materials. I said I paid you a lot of money and didn?t get it done right. He offered to lower a beam to fix the new divot in floor. Not a word from them to this date. No one ever said I would not be happy if they didn?t put in another beam and a half, nor this might make divots in other areas. They certainly didn?t say to do the job correctly you need to do xyz. I spent over 16,000 and did not get what I paid for. I?d say there was a huge misinformation problem, on the company end.

Fast and good service!

Stellar service and repair to our retaining wall. From Richard, who did the site visit and bid, to their fantastic crew Sam, Ivan, and Serghie, their communication and quality of work was sensational. We obtained three bids for the job and Groundworks was the best. I usually don't go with the lowest bid, but my research aligned with what Richard recommended. The finished job exceeded my expectations. Our wall was able to be put into alignment with the rest of the wall, and the cracks at either end repaired and fortified. I highly recommend Groundworks

Matvey did an outstanding job of keeping through the reporting, permitting and construction work - absolutely fantastic. Couldn't be happier with the quality of their work.

â Brian (field inspector), David / Tripp / Kender (installers) were a pleasure to work with, despite some of the scheduling challenges. They were very respectful of our property and excellent communicators who, as far as I can tell, performed the job correctly. We'll know for certain when that next "atmospheric river" arrives. ;)

Matthew S came, surveyed the problem, and spent time making sure he understood what I needed. He then proposed a plan and made sure I understood all my options. He was kind, patient, and very professional.

Everything went as planned. The came on time, cleaned up afterward, and even patched a crack that wasn’t part of the original contract. Didn’t even ask them; they offered. Super happy with the result. I’d hire them again.

A beautiful job, and a wonderful addition to my home. From beginning to end, Matvy was extremely professional and I am very pleased.

They are very professiinal at what they are doing. From the estimate to the actual service, they were organized and provided enough explanation. I was very satisfied with their work on my porch concrete.
