John and his crew cleaned and painted our entire 3500 square foot two-story house. They also removed, painted and reinstalled the shutters and picket fence panels. Unfortunately, they discovered a bit of dry rot above the garage and some fence pieces that needed to be replaced. Since we wanted to take care of these repairs ourselves, John and crew were flexible in working around our schedules (as it couldn't be done right away) and were able to come back as necessary to complete all the tasks and ensure that the job was complete and to our satisfaction.

John and his team was amazing right from the start. He took the time to walk around my home and explain the different products and techniques. He was also more than willing to answer any and all questions that I had which was ALOT. I was concerned about my plants and the condition of my yard both during and after the painting, and he assured me that they would take the time to both set up and clean up carefully to make sure that no plants were damaged and that everything would look great after the team left. My porch deck needed some extra care. Others that quoted on the job were hesitant to take the extra time to deal with it. John did all the deck
work personally; cleaning, re-staining and even taking time to sand the boards himself. Price wise John was very competitive. I would not hesitate to use him again. John followed through on his promises and great attention was given to every detail of the job ~ from respectfully watching out for my plants during setup, to making my house look awesome, all the way down to the final clean up. Everything was meticulously completed. I have already (and will continue) to recommend him to friends and neighbors.

All of the work was completed in a professional manner and beautifully done. John had good recommendations about choosing appropriate stain colors and paint finishes. For the interior work, John did all of the work himself and was very quick, yet meticulous about the details. The staff working on our exterior was also very professional and punctual. Our house has four different exterior colors, and the painters easily followed the complex color guide in order to paint the window trim. Then, they double-checked all of it, which I appreciated. My husband and I were grateful to have all of these projects done by a professional painter, and not have to try to tackle them ourselves. I appreciated that John kept in touch with me by both by email and phone for scheduling and other details. I would definitely recommend Lifestyle Painting to my friends, and hire him again! Extremely well. The multi-day cleaning and preparation was as important as the expertise of the painting and staining. Our home has a palette of colors as well as shingles, posts and front doors that were stained. We greatly appreciated the commitment to the best quality finished product. All elements of timeliness, courtesy, and professionalism were provided to us.

If you want it done incredibly well by an experienced pro,call John Spisak and his team at Lifestyle Painting . John supervises details very carefully and jumps in on the work at times . He came out promptly and gave us a fair bid. Other companies had advised staining of our cedar shake siding and that our chosen color-yellow with white trim would be hard to match the exact shade of yellow we wanted . John adamantly advised PAINT and directed us to Bellevue Benjamin Moore store to select exactly what we wanted .He then arranged and picked up all paint and supplies.The prep work was exhaustive taking 3-4 days .The priming and multiple coats of painting was excellent and any slight touch ups were immediately and pleasantly addressed.We are very picky folks and John and his team were very detail oriented,hard working,professional and efficient.We are huge gardeners and nary a leaf was disturbed.The cleanup was amazingly complete and efficient. John and his team cut no corners and know exactly what they are doing.We love the final result and the painting and exact shades are spot on to what we wanted.Besides it all, John is a nice guy and very honest to his word We could not recommend him and his small high quality company enough Jim and Sharon Phillips

I had a very special door that was red with a jewel in the middle of it. He sprayed that door five times until the color was exactly right. He is precise and careful and persistent until it is done right. I wouldn't call another painter.

We received a few quotes from other painters but chose Lifestyle Painting. John, the owner of the company, came out to quote the job and was involved in the painting process as well. His involvement in the process showed in the quality of work that was done. They spent three full days doing prep work before applying a single drop of paint. The crew that worked on the house often stayed until 7PM and worked until 9PM on the last day of the job to make sure they got every touch-up done.
I'd also like to point out that the quoting process for the job was extremely straightforward and up front. We were quoted a labor rate and informed that we would be paying for the cost of the paint used with a very accurate estimate. John picked up the paint which we paid for up front from a shop where he has a discounted rate.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend their services to friends and family.
I'd also like to point out that the quoting process for the job was extremely straightforward and up front. I am a Realtor. And my Clients, Paul and Jen wanted their home painted before their 4th of July party. I had recommended a person who had worked with me before. However, a few days before he was to start the job he abruptly quit, leaving them with very bleak prospects for having the house painted before the event.
This time I consulted Angie's List. I spoke with several people from the list, but John was the one painter that was the most understanding. I know he had to rearrange schedules but he was to get them in the works. And he finished the job on July 3rd, saving the day (or rather the family party!) Below is what they wrote to John and copied me as well:

The painting performed on the exterior of our was excellent. John Spisak and his staff were very professional and neat. We couldn't have received a more excellent painting. The house looks better now that John and his crew painted it then the when the house was originally built 18 years ago. We highly recommend Lifestyle Painting Inc. Our three story home is on a 45 degree bank and access to the West side of the house is a challenge. Two other painting companies that Angie's list recommended stated the task of painting the house was too big a task for their companies.
We are more than happy with Lifestyle Painting Inc. and would highly recommend John Spisak and his Company.

John came recommended from another painter to me. He was responsive and prompt with his estimate. I initially thought that his estimate was on a high side given the bids I had received from others. We had a tough job with doors worn out from weather damage and I was impressed with the level of detail John presented his proposal. I hired him - he delivered what he had promised in time, often times working longer hours and with a high quality. In retrospect his work was well worth the price and I would hire him again if I need any painting job done. Very professional, knowledgeable and hard working. Highly recommended.

I purchased a home a few weeks ago and i wanted to take advantage of it being vacant by having it painted. John (owner of Lifestyle Paint) had an opening that fit with my schedule perfectly. John did an outstanding job. I am very happy with his work. He listened to my needs, gave suggestions and performed the work in the expected amount of time all at a fair price. John is very thorough and knowledgeable about paint. The home has rounded corners, and I have different color paint in the kitchen and dining room, and the line on the rounded corner separating the two colors looks great. Just perfect. Very noticeable, my sister came by and commented on now nice it looks (I heard from family and friends how hard it is to paint rounded corners with two different colors) I will use John again when i need to have the exterior of my home painted. I will also recommend him to friends and family. Very pleased customer!!!

LifeStyle Painting did a great job painting a number of interior rooms, both walls and trim. They look excellent, especially the trim which was bare wood and required filling, sanding, caulking, and priming. They also did about 700 lineal feet of bare wood baseboard trim that has not yet been installed. They left the space neat and tidy everyday. We have worked with them over the years and we keep coming back because of the high quality of the work and reasonable price.
