Karen is AMAZING! its frightening to trust anyone else to take care of your pets when you travel - especially when you are new to the area like we are! DO NOT HESITATE to trust Karen with your furbabies. She is wonderful with them, ours love her and and greet her at the door. We know she spends time playing and giving treats because when we get home they greet us and run right for the toys and treats and look at us like: "its that time right??" Karen sends you daily photos, has no trouble with giving medication and making sure one cat gets his food while "entertaining" the others. She brings in the mail, takes out the trash - she is a god send! She checks on us to make sure we got home, even when we forget to text her. She leaves daily notes - which really help to ensure you miss nothing while you are gone. Hands down best pet sitting service we have used!

It's been fantastic. She is a lovely lady to work with. She does a really great job. We just got back from a two week vacation and she clearly takes her business very seriously. She is very loving with the animals and I felt comfortable and confident in her. We have plans using her during the holiday season. It has been a great interaction. She comes multiple times to our home. She takes our mails and checks through the house. She sends detailed information and images including for animals. The service fee depends on what you are asking for.

We've used Karen several times in the past year and plan to continue to do so. She's very thorough and conscientious. And loves pets! She scheduled a visit prior to the first sitting to meet with us, our two older cats (although only one made an appearance) look around the house and answer any questions. We filled out a form for emergency contact information, pet preferences and habits, etc. In addition to the requirements of your pets such as petting/social time, cleaning litter boxes, refreshing food and water, Karen's sitting includes bringing in the mail, texting photos, and looking around for any problems. During the first visit, Karen provided us with a journal and pen which we keep for her use each time she comes. The daily notes of her interactions with the pets are fun to review when we return. One of our cats has proved to be a challenge, hiding from Karen during most visits. She perseveres and continues to seek out Sadie and, hopefully, will eventually be rewarded. We also get occasional little gifts from Karen such as a Halloween bag to contain our mail while we were gone in October. We've recently moved to West Seattle and were concerned about replacing the pet sitter we'd had and loved in Salem. I have no hesitation in recommending Karen. We're very happy to have found her.

We have used Karen's service for four years, every time we go on vacation. She is a complete professional and obviously cares for animals as much as we do. In fact, I often joke that our pets get more attention when we're gone. Her price is average for this type of service, based on our previous experiences - and the service is way above average. You can trust Karen!

Karen works exclusively in West Seattle caring for cats, dogs and other pets. She is licensed, bonded and insured so I refer my non-boarding clients to her. I completely trust that she will do what she says she will do, when she says she will, with the utmost professionalism. Yet she is greeted as a member of the owners family and does thorough care of the animals and beyond. She cares about the animals deeply and if an owner is running late, or hasn't checked in upon returning home, she is on the phone or at the home to make sure those animals are cared for without a hiccup. Since I can't offer this service to my clients, I am very picky about who takes care of and quot;myand quot; grand-dogs and their relatives. I have never had a complaint nor heard a negative word from those I have sent her way. She has back up and that is huge in this industry as well. If you are reading this and thinking of a petsitter,

PLEASE consider when you can't have a friend or family member care for your animals when you can't... it doesn't cost that much more to hire someone who is LICENSED with the state and the city, that are covered by INSURANCE should the unthinkable happen, and BONDED. It costs the provider more to operate their business, so you may have to pay more, but for your personal security and safety you are opening your home, your life, to the people who enter your homes.
