The installer was clearly experienced and conducted himself like a pro. There were no complications or surprises.
"I am sorry for not getting back to you. Once again this is not how we have built our business and how we have won so many customer service awards in the industry. We have 9 full time personnel in the office watching for emails and responding to emails. The majority of our first contact with homeowners is via emails and once again I apologize for the inconvenience. I am currently in discussions with my contact at Angie's List to make sure we are getting everything sent to us. We do watch info@brennanheating 7 days a week to respond immediately to requests. Please call us direct at 1-877-BRENNAN so we can handle this issue properly. Thank you for your initial attempt to contact us."
"We have called 3 times with no response. We are in business to sell jobs and would never ignore a bid request. We would like to bid the job but cannot get a hold of the member. We check our emails 7 days a week and respond to requests for bids 7 days a week. Please let us know when we can talk to discuss the job or come to the house and do a bid."
"We are very sorry for the inconvenience for cancelling last minute! We do not normally conduct our business that way. For your specific job requiring hydronic heating we needed our hydronic rep available to do the bid. We had just lost our hydronic sales rep and we were in the middle of hiring another qualified person, we are now up and running with our new rep. Again, we are very sorry and would hope to make it up to you."
"When we called before the bid to confirm the address, we were informed that you would be building next year but were getting ball park bids for now. After discussing the plans over the phone a ballpark price was giving. We never want to ball park instead of performing a bid on the job site. We apologize if there were any misunderstandings. We can set another appointment for any time when you are ready, including evenings and weekends. We could not stay in business by ball parking bids over the phone. We pride ourselves in our well trained and professional sales staff. We hope we hear from you again to show you how we really do business."
"We totally understand all of our customers have many options available for their service provider and because of that we do everything possible to keep our customers as satisfied as possible and we try to keep our rates as competitive as possible as well. We always set our service appointments with a window not an exact time just like every other company in the industry. The window is always 2 hours except the first call of the day can be 1 hour. The reason is we don't know what kind of traffic we might hit or how long each job may take. We are sorry for any miscommunication regarding a scheduled appointment but we must schedule with a time window and have done so for over 20 years. Even though we do have a 2 hour window, we have no problem calling customers on the way with a 30 minute heads up in case they are at work and want to meet us at the house."
"Brennan did install a new furnace in 2007, but not the ductwork or the plumbing pipe that is leaking. Our technician for this job, did state that he thought the fix could possibly happen without removing the ductwork but he Is not a plumber and recommended a plumber come out and see the job. Like most companies in our industry, it is common to have a diagnostic fee. We do not do plumbing repairs, we are a HVAC company only. We gave a bid to come out and remove the duct work for the plumber, $165 for removal of the duct and $165 to come back later and reinstall the duct after the plumbing repair. We have at least 2 hours of labor in each phase of the job. We do not charge $200 an hour as you can see in our bid. We offered a very competitive price and offered to send a technician to the house on your schedule. We cannot fix problems not caused by us for free. We have a commitment to our customers and we always try to take care of them in the best way possible. We offer competitive pricing and we do our best to work around our customer’s schedule. We would appreciate an opportunity to do the work and will continue to honor the bid. I know our bid will be competitive with other bids if other bids are received. I’m sorry if there was a miscommunication on our end."
We recommend Brennan Heating and AC!
"Thank you! We are happy to serve you!"
"Thank you from Brennan Heating!"
"The service was for general maintenance. Because of the specific existing conditions with the furnace; worn heat exchangers and leak, we like to let customers know the condition of their equipment and what expenses might be in the future so they are not blindsided with a large fix or unexpected replacement. When we left the house the furnace was running fine, and we never said anything needed to be done. It was a courtesy to the consumer to let them know our educated guess on the timeline of a future expense. I’m sorry if there was any misunderstanding with our motives. We would appreciate on opportunity to continue being your service company in the future."
"Thank you for using Brennan Heating, we appreciate your business!"
