The tech came out within the appointment window on 6/6/16. He assessed the dishwasher first and told me that it would be a better investment to replace the dishwasher than repair it. I appreciated his honesty. He then spent a long time with the dryer, trying to diagnose the source of a loud squeak. The squeak would occur in patterns, but the patterns would come and go. After taking apart what appeared to be most of the dryer, the technician diagnosed the issue as being the dryer's motor, which he replaced. Once the dryer was assembled again, the squeak was gone. Because it had seemed to take a long time to diagnose the issue, I asked if there was a warranty on the service. The tech quoted me 90 days. However, within about eight weeks, the squeak began to occasionally reappear, though never persistently or loudly. Then, close to the end of the 90 day warranty, the squeak started getting fairly bad again. I called ABC Appliance and left messages on the voicemail system on 8/29/16 and 8/31, then called and reached a live person on 9/1 to schedule an appointment for 9/6. On 9/6, a tech came out and spent about 30 minutes examining the Kenmore dryer. He then told me that they had "replaced all the moving parts" on the dryer in June (although the invoice only states that the motor had been replaced), and to call them again if the squeaking got worse, which I understood to be an extension of the original warranty, as no service was performed on 9/6. When I restarted the dryer with the wet towels we'd been using for the assessment, the squeaking was still bad. I left a message on the main contact number that nothing had been accomplished during this follow-up visit and I was hoping for another solution. Perhaps the motor needs to be replaced again. I was hugely appreciative of the honest assessment of the dishwasher, and I would have given an A review if the dryer issue had not returned. I will definitely update with a new review to reflect the final outcome of this service.

I called nearly all the Major Appliances vendors trying to find a vendor for next day service. After numerous attempts working my way down the list, when I called ABC Appliance Service they were able to send a technician the next day. He came during the time window they said, confirmed the problem was the heating element and replaced it. He was here for less than an hour, vacuumed up all the dryer lent underneath and behind the dryer and explained what he had done. He was very professional, courteous, completed the work in a very timely manner and left.
I would defnitely have ABC back again for any large appliance problems!

ABC Appliance came to look at my fridge the same day I called. On the phone they asked for the make and model number of my fridge and asked for a description of the problem. The problem was that the refrigerator was not at all cold, although the freezer was still working. When the repair person arrived he had all the necessary parts in his truck and completed the repair during that visit. He was pleasant, courteous and efficient. My fridge has worked great ever since. I was very happy with the repair service!

The person that came was very efficient, and they came on short notice, because it was the holidays and I had family coming. He was able to come right out and do both estimates, and he was very clean. Once he left, you couldn't even tell he'd been there.

I called in the morning and by 1pm my refrigerator was fixed. The relay switch went out on the fridge/freezer so it wasn't cooling at all. He diagnosed, had the parts on the truck, fixed and was gone within an hour. Very happy with the service.

I was not happy with my experience at all. When I first called ABC Appliance for a quote I was told $68 for the site visit and then $30 to $60 labor for the follow up repair. He arrived at my house in the afternoon but did not call to state he was on his way over like he mentioned he would do over the phone. He took a look at my dishwasher and then in about 10 minutes told me my motor was bad ($75 for 10 minutes time). He told me a new part with labor would be $200 but he would take a look at the part in the evening and confirm the price. I called him today and I was told that it would be $200 for the replacement (effectively he didn't price out the part as he stated he would do). I priced out the part online and it's an $85 part so apparently the remaining $115 is tax and labor? Apparently for "big jobs" he doesn't charge by the hour he charges by the job. Over the phone the day before he indicated the work would be "$30 to $60" for the whole job so now somehow the work has doubled in price. I tried to get a break down of the costs to better understand the charges and I asked if the total cost would be prorated if the work was done sooner than expected and all he could tell me is that the job would cost $200. If he would have told me this from the beginning I probably would have been fine with it but given he changed the story after I had already paid him $75 and it would cost me another $200 to go with him I've decided to go with a different repairman that is more upfront with their costs BEFORE they're paid for the service call.

I thought the price was very reasonable. It included the service call, labor and the part. He came out twice because he didn't have the part; so he came back the next day. They were available. I had called other people who gave me 2 or 3 days before they could come out. ABC Appliance came out he same day I called. I called in the morning and they came out that afternoon. The technician was very professional, efficient and got right to his work. He was very quiet and attended to his work. He was efficient in terms of immediately getting in there and doing the work. He worked the whole time he was here. He really took his time. He diagnosed it correctly and got the part in. I will definitely use them again.

My external water dispenser was leaking slowly. I call ABC and they promptly came out. I had described my issue and he was 90% certain he knew what the problem was. He brought the valve with him. His first arrival, he had a problem getting refrig out of the space. The water line seemed to be snagged on something so he thought he was going to have to replace the water line. So, he said he would come back in 5hrs with that part. Typical repair co's charge per hr and then prorate their hrs. ABC was very fair with their time and pricing. When he came back he was able to untangle the water line, move out the refrig, replace the valve and not have to replace the water line. He did not charge me more money for coming back a second time. I am completely satisfied with his service and fairness with pricing. I would definitely call him back for any other issues.

The company, ABC Appliance was quick to respond and send a technician to our home. I called them in the morning and he arrived in the early afternoon. He was very professional and was able to pinpoint the problem fairly quickly. He also had the replacement part in his truck, so the job was completed that afternoon.

WOW! the dryer went out on Monday and I let my partner fiddle with it until our clothes basket of dirty laundry exploded. The first 2 people I called gave me 2 week lead times. We called ABC and they were out the same afternoon (yesterday) and correctly diagnosed the problem. Said he would be back out tehe next day between 12 -3 with the part and installation. He arrived at 12:45 and my dryer is now working. The cost was $30 less than his estimate. Very polite and cleaned up any mess. Would definitely hire again.
