From the first call through scheduling and work, I was impressed. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They were able to get someone out the next day, and he arrived promptly. Our technician, James, took care to be thoughtful about putting down cloth to protect our carpet and was very respectful about noise (we had a sleeping baby). The end cost was exactly as quoted. I can't imagine that anyone likes having to deal with (much less pay for) a broken hot water heater, but these guys made it as painless as possible.

Call the professionals at WA Water Heater! Our tank started leaking so called around for an idea of pricing and was very impressed with this company. They quoted a price over the phone and when I inquired about tankless, Steve came over for a consult. We decided replacing regular hot water heater tank was the best option for us and Steve gave me an estimate. James, the installer showed up early the next day, on time and ready to go. Hauled away the old one and stand and left our space in clean condition. Cannot say enough about how impressed I was with this company's professionalism, reliability, great work and honesty! James ended up doing more work due to our plumbing but did not charge us more. They stuck with the quoted price. He did a wonderful job and answered all of my questions. We highly recommend them. A++ all the way around and would hire them again without hesitation!

Tom called when he was on his way to let me know his ETA. He arrived, we went over the project and he was very polite and knowledgeable. I ended up hanging around in the garage much of the day, mostly out of curiosity and asking questions, etc, which he didn't have a problem with. At one point, he had started to hang the tankless on the wall when I was inside, and I came out and asked if he could move it higher on the wall (so that kids couldn't reach the buttons on the front), and he was able to do that for me, which was great! I also had another request related to the venting (which I thought was included in the bid, NOTE: the bid was an email, which I wasn't used to vs. something with a scope and cost that I sign before the work begins), he called Steve the estimator and they ended up including it, instead of charging me an additional $150, which was also great. Bottom line, they are very responsive and seemed like they really cared. One last thing, not job related, when he asked to use the bathroom, he took off his shoes without me even asking, which I really appreciated (we have carpet with a baby that crawls around and shoves random things from the floor into her mouth)! Most contractors just walk in and don't think about that (or care)! All in all a very positive experience!

I called several companies to come out and give me a quote for water Heaters, including Kings, and Brenan. Washington ended up giving me one of the fairest quotes. They were also punctual and were able to come out quickly to look at the job. I liked dealing with Steve who came to give us the quote. At the end we ended up going with a different company because WWH Did not provide the item I was looking for. I wanted a specific water heater and another company was more familiar with it. Mind you this is not a regular residential water heater. Its commercial grade. had I gone with the Navean system which would have been just as good, I would have Gone with Washington Water heaters.
Steve was super responsive to emails and easy to talk to.
Would recommend.

They showed up on time. A contractor working in the basement moved the hot water heater a foot from the wall. Not understanding how a double wall vent system works on not water heaters, they only extended the outer sleeve, not the inner sleeve. The hot water heater no longer worked and smelled really "gassy". WWH came in and moved it back to where it was, reconnected the vent, relit the pilot and were done.

When our old tank went out on a Friday, Washington Water Heater came out on a Saturday to look at it and informed us that the type of heater we had would need to be special ordered and we might be out of water for a few weeks. So the Navien tankless water heater was presented as good, if costly, solution for replacing a leaking power vent water heater. We gave them the go ahead and a deposit and they installed it the following Monday.  The tankless water heater initially gave us problems but once the owner, Steve, found out we were unhappy with the new heater he came out personally on a Saturday morning to adjust the settings and improve the performance.

Steve, the owner of Washington Water Heaters, installed the water heater for me about a year ago. I have not took an attempt to write him a review, and I really felt guilty about it.
I called four people and chose Steve because he was so honest, professional. His price was right in the middle, but the quality was very exceptional. When I asked Steve for his opinion if I should pay ~$250 more for the more expensive model, Steve told me I should save that money to take my wife and kids to a great dinner instead.
He also discounted me $75 from the quote (which I agreed) after finding out that I found him from Angies' List. He didn't have to do that, but did.
He was on time, and very professional. His work quality was exceptional. I couldn't be happier.
Thanks Steve.

We were distressed to find out that our existing tank less
water heater (in a house we just purchased) would be too costly to fix.  We got a total of four bids to replace
it.  This bid was thousands less than two
competitors who both quoted us at over $5k.
While we did get one other bid in the same range as this company, it was
the professional, knowledgeable, no nonsense approach that sold us on this
company.  One of the owners- Tom- came
out to give us the bid.  He took only a
few minutes to look at our current tank less set up, know what product and
installation he would recommend and explain his recommendation to me in a
clear, non-condescending manner.  As a
woman, I often feel that male contractors speak down to during the bidding/work
process, but this was not the case with Tom at all.  Several other companies spent a LONG time
looking at the situation (previous tank less had been installed on an interior
wall without stainless steel venting) and even in the end seemed unsure about
the exact plan for installation.  Tom
suggested right away that we use the Navian condensing tank less water heater-
which is not only more efficient- but uses plastic venting that would be easier
and cheaper to install in our situation.
The installation couldn?t have gone better either.  The technician who came out (I?m sorry I don?t
remember your name at the moment) was very professional, knowledgeable, and completed
the job quickly . The initial bid did not include dry wall repair- and it was
expected that several holes would have to be made in the ceiling to run the
vent pipe- but the technician was able to install the venting without cutting
into the drywall!  Saving us the mess and
expense of repair.   We are very happy
with our new water heater- which seems to be keeping up with our 3 bathroom
house sufficiently.  Hopefully, I won?t
need another water heather for many, many years- but when I do, I know who I
will call.

First of all Steve was able to come out and provide an estimate very quickly.  There were a number of factors that made this job more complicated than average and he was able to go over all of them and talk about how they would be accounted for.  He also answered several additional questions that I sent by email.  When the time came to schedule they were able to get me booked for later the same week.  Len came and did the install and did a fantastic job.  In addition to taking care of all the venting, drainage and gas work, he also noticed that I had a crossover somewhere in my water system.  He correctly guessed that it was in one of my shower valve cartridges and I was able to get 2 new cartridges from the hardware store.  He installed one and then I installed the other.  The new water heater is great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Washington Water Heaters to anyone!

I cannot be more happy with my experience. These guys did a great job. Called then in a Tuesday and they were out Wednesday morning for the install. The install took a total of 2 hours and went great. I had a Snohomish County Inspector out to verify the install for the permit and he stated he was impressed with the fact they used copper and not pvc and that the job looked great.
Money well spent for me. I contacted numerous vendors whose prices with tax were exceeding $2000. I learned of Washington Water Heater when I was at Lowes and told that they did all the hot water tank contract work for them. Thats when I decided to reach out to them directly. Plus, the reviews on Angie's List were solid. I now have them coming back to service my AC and Furnace as well.

Washington Water Heaters was one of the few companies I could get a hold of first thing on a Monday morning (after a Sunday water heater failure that I could work around). They were very responsive and helpful; they didn't immediately refuse service and require a replacement like several others (*cough* Fast Water Heater *cough*).
I wasn't willing to spend $1k+ on a new water heater when mine wasn't leaking or rusting, it was just a busted pilot! They were able to schedule me for same day service, which was awesome! Aaron was out for my service call about 5 hours after I called them, I was impressed.
He inspected my water heater and proceeded with the expected repair (replacing the pilot / thermocouple / igniter assembly) after giving me an on-the-spot estimate. The work went smoothly in just under the time quoted (~25 minutes when he said 30 mins). I was quite pleased with the work as well as Aaron's attitude; he was very nice to work with.
My only gripe is the cost of the repair:
* $129 for a service call (fairly standard, it seems)
* $159 for the part and labor (maybe $100 part if I purchased it)
I knew I was paying for skilled labor and I'm still much happier with their repair price compared to a replacement.
All-in-all, it was quality work done very quickly. I would choose them again if I had another issue requiring repair.

Pros:  Scheduling Washington Water Heaters was quick and easy.  Their scheduler answered the phone and was able to tell me exactly when a plumber could come to my home to do the work.  They were able to come out in two days.  Many places I called didn't answer their phones & I had to wait for calls back, so this was reassuring.
The plumber connected the water heater correctly; the plumbing and electrical work was well done.
Cons:  He did not level the water heater, and he did not extend the condensate drainpipe all the way to the floor drain, so the condensate leaves a puddle on the concrete right next to the floor drain.  He did not clean-up the floor after removing the old water heater.  I cleaned this area before Washington Water Heaters, came, but unsurprisingly, I was not able to remove all the dust and dirt.    Lastly, he had my husband run to McLendon's to pick up the correct wiring for the electrical connection.  Really?  For $846 I expect excellent work, not adequate work.  I suppose I could have called them back to correct these things, but once a contractor disappoints me, I am really not interested in having them back.
I would not hire them again.

Our 12 year old water heater went out on a Friday night.  On Saturday morning, we found this vendor on Angie's List, and after a little comparison shopping we were able to hire this vendor to do the work and he was able to get to our house on Saturday afternoon.  We also received a 5% senior discount so our net pre-tax price was $993.05.  Steve did a wonderful job, clean, neat, and fast.  It was an excellent price for an excellent service.  We would use again!
