Maria House Cleaning

I have been using Maria's service for several years. She has always provided the services I requested in a very professional manner.

We have used them 3 times so far and have been happy with their work. The first cleaning (considered a deep first cleaning to ready the house for subsequent monthly cleaning and more expensive than our monthly cleaning cost after) was really excellent and very thorough and made our home feel amazing to be in afterwards. Our two cleanings each 4 weeks later have still been well done, but don’t feel quite as clean as the first one. Not sure if this is because it’s a maintenance cleaning or if it’s because we have had a different cleaner every time. One thing we would wish is to have the same cleaner every time. We are happy with their cleaning and the value of their service. We will continue to use them.

I requested a deep cleaning (although I don't really know what that means to house cleaners). I agreed to a fee of $160.00 although I thought it was a little pricey. I was told the date and a time of 10:00AM for their arrival. Later I received a call from their scheduler saying they would arrive between 10 and 11 AM (NOT what I agreed to) and I wasn't happy as I don't live at the residence I was having cleaned, so I had to waste my own time waiting on these people. Their cleaning was just okay, nothing spectacular. They vacuumed the carpets, but not the floors. The floors they sort of wiped by hand. Communication was difficult as they were Russian and didn't seem to speak English very well. I'm sure they would work out well for some people, but I, personally won't use them again.

Maria has been a pleasure to work with. She has been prompt and detailed in calling me back and reliable. Her team did a great job of cleaning our entire house. They did better than we would do and probably in less time. We’ll continue to use Maria’s service and recommend them to all of us. Thanks Maria and her team.

If you value your possessions - BEWARE! On 2 separate occasions, items have gone missing from my house on the day that the cleaners came. I think these items were mistakenly thrown away and I don't suspect that they were stolen or anything malicious, just a mistake. When I asked Maria Cleaning about it, they told me that it wasn't their fault and I just "lost" the items, which is not the case. The items were present when I left for work in the morning and absent when I got home. They refused to take responsibility or reimburse me. Oh, and I was a customer for 5 years - they did not value my patronage whatsoever. It is standard for all cleaning services to have insurance and reimburse when items are damaged. It is completely against industry standards for the cleaning service to refuse to reimburse clients and refuse to admit responsibility. I am suspicious of their insurance coverage. Extremely poor customer service.

We have been using Maria House Cleaning for the last year and I am pleased. We have our place cleaned every other week and it's normally the same people at the same time. Sometimes they switch it up, I usually find it's a holiday week but I think you can request the same people come every time. We used to have cleanings on a different day but I think they were busier then because often they would not arrive during their window - not a big deal if they have a key but frustrating if you have to let them in. They're generally thorough, I am always impressed with how they can make my kitchen and bathrooms feel brand new. I do think they sometimes forget to dust, that would be my only complaint. Overall, I'm happy and will continue to use their services.

We started them out at once a month to see how it would go. We were pleased with the work and the price and increased them to twice a month.

They come monthly. They are on time. They do good work. We are happy with what they do. They will work around our schedule.

I have used many cleaning companies for many years and without doubt, Maria's House Cleaning is the best I have ever hired. I absolutely love that they are punctual, they have never canceled on me which was a chronic problem with other companies I've used in the past. They do a wonderful job and leave my house looking amazing. Their pricing is extremely resonable. I am so pleased and happy that I have found a company that I can trust and feel good about. I honestly don't know what I would do without them!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Due to their professional job, I hired them to do housekeeping on a regular basis at my new home and again I have been very satisfied with the job they do.

This is my 3rd cleaning service and here is some of what I've learned... 1. Nobody will EVER do it as good or exactly as you would. In some areas better, in other areas not. This is true of every service. 2. Many services don't quote in person, which is poor customer service in my opinion. How can they know what to charge if they don't se your home? Maria's is 1 of 2 that did, out of 12. I like that personal touch. It shows me that I matter and that they want to get the quote right. 3. A significant staff is important. Without it, its tough to find a time slot that works well. I happen to work from home and one day a week in a certain 4 hour period, I'm away, every week. Small staffs can't necessarily accommodate that kind of thing. Maria's can and did without any difficulty at all. 4. Maria's went the extra mile for me. I met with them and committed the week prior to Thanksgiving. I inquired the week of Thanksgiving if they could clean my home that week, as I was suddenly expecting unexpected guests. No problem... they had someone come to me on Thanksgiving morning. I was stunned. Yes, I tipped VERY WELL. 5. Perhaps most importantly, a cleaning service is about value, not perfection. What am I getting for X-dollars spent? I grew up extremely poor and every dollar counts. I'm 46 and only now can I really kind of afford a housecleaning service. Some of the others I tried, and every other one quoted for that matter, charged by the hour. I was quoted low and then charged more and more after each visit. What I love about Maria's is the price is the price. I was quoted the lowest price yet, lower than nearly a dozen others, and it's a flat charge. It's their commitment to you... They say X-dollars and that's it, however long it takes them to get done right. Was it spotless? No. Was it on par or better with all the others? Yes and more. Couldn't be happier with the results. It's tough to try out different cleaning companies. It's tough vetting, tough hiring, tough adjusting, and tough firing, if you have to. Take my word for it, save some headache, and just start your trial with Maria's. If your experience is like mine, it will be one and done, no need to look elsewhere.

I would use them again.

They're fantastic. Always on time and extremely flexible. I've had to reschedule a number of times and they are very prompt and usually respond in a matter of minutes. I recommend them!

Not reliable.

Maria's has been cleaning my house for almost 4 years now and I highly recommend them! They are reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and very responsive if I ever need to adjust a visit. The cleaning is always thorough, but they are also quick to react if anything is missed. I have recommended them to any of my friends who are looking for good service.

They do an amazing job!

Provider representative was over an hour late to scheduled estimate with no notice of running late until 1 min before appointment time. When performing service, cleaners arrived some amount of time early with no notice of change in time and a phone call was received, prior to scheduled service time, that the appointment would be cancelled if I was not on-site in 10 minutes (still before appointment time). Work performed was not adequate with pooled dirty water left on wood floor, areas not cleaned in kitchen, bath and family room.

The team of two (Tanya and Anton) arrived on time and worked very hard to leave everything sparkling.

Lots left Uncleaned. I was not there to inspect. Appliances left dirty.

This cleaning service rocks! The employees were professional and thorough and the price was great. We would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend or hire again. Straightforward, wonderful experience.
