The service went great. She was supposed to email me to set up a regular service, but I have not heard back from her just yet. She did exactly what the deal stated and she was able to clean the entire house. She did a great job and brought her own cleaning supplies. I had no problems contacting the company or scheduling the service.

LIght language barrier with the cleaners. Maybe I wasn't clear, but maybe it was the language barrier. Nice folks, but focussed too much on some areas and missed others that were important to me. Generally good - was looking for a one-time deep-clean, not ongoing service.

The service went well. My husband actually arranged the service to be scheduled. We actually had them clean for an additional hour for an extra $40. I thought the additional fee was very reasonable. We even scheduled them back out to clean again. Two people came out for the service and brought their own supplies, including the vacuum cleaners. They cleaned most of the house and they did a great job with the cleaning. They did at least 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, living room, family room, entry way, an office, and 3 bedrooms. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service. They even arrived to the appointment early and there were no language barriers.

My house is clean, but not deep clean; the service is also overpriced.
They came when they said they would and they got the house clean, but not deep clean. The bathrooms and carpets look good, and most areas were dusted. However, after they left, I found multiple floors with caked-on dirt, because the cleaners had run a damp mop over the floor but hadn't scrubbed. My computer monitor and my desk lamp were still coated with dust, and there were wastebaskets that had a small amount of debris on the inside and weren't clean on the outside. These are just a couple of examples: nothing blatant, but the house isn't "deep clean" and isn't as clean as I would have gotten it. Thus, I had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning after they left. I did look over the house before they left, but I had expected them to be conscientious and I didn't notice all these issues until they had left.
Despite the fact that the house wasn't truly clean, the cleaners left halfway through the cleaning period but demanded the payment of the full estimated bill. Thus, my cost came to $48 per person per hour, which seems very high for this level of cleaning. (Their estimate was based on them visiting my house two days prior, so their estimate should have been accurate.)
Based on these problems, I would not recommend Maria Cleaning Service. If I had been looking for a surface cleaning rather than a deep cleaning and the cost had been lower, or if they had delivered on their promise of a deep cleaning, then I would consider them. If you want to use them, then you should get fairer pricing, and you should make them wait around while you spend an hour double-checking their work.

I purchased for a client getting ready to sell home. My client was not impressed - said that cleaners talked on phone a lot, lots of things they wouldn't do, tried to leave early, hard to understand. Will not use for any other clients or myself.

We do not quite understand your complaint and would be thankful if you would contact us concerning it. As you have mentioned in your comment, you bought a promotion deal: 4 hours of cleaning performed by one person or 2 hours of cleaning done by two people. Keep in mind that this deal proposes a basic, regular cleaning. In your case, you wanted to clean a 2, 650 sq. ft. house DEEPLY. You required cleaning the whole house, except vacuuming carpets. When our cleaning crew entered the house that realized that it was too dirty and they would not be able to finish everything. They proposed to prolong the Big Deal and to buy extra hours. You need to understand that it is impossible to have a deep cleaning of the house and to prepare it for sale just in 2 hours. You have mentioned that our cleaning team was on the phone. Yes, we can say that they called to the manager twice, explaining the situation. The manager tried to help them with resolving of the situation. We kindly ask you to call us again for resolving of the situation. Every time our clients buy a Big Deal we explain to them that it’s not a deep cleaning, it’s a regular cleaning performed by two people for 2 hours or by one person for 4 hours. It’s impossible to clean a house deeply just in two hours. The price of a deep cleaning is $300 minimum, depending on the size of a house. Please, contact us, because we feel that your complaint is not fair. We have come, cleaned the house and received your negative feedback for that. Thanks in advance. The cleaners were excellent and very hardworking. In addition to normal cleaning of surfaces, they wiped doors, windowsills, window tracks, light switches and did a very thorough job dusting and vaccuuming. Very happy with the job they did and plan to use Maria Housecleaning for regular bi-weekly cleaning in the future.

It did not go well. They did not do a great job. Kitchen floor hardly looks like it was done. Hard wood floors were left with puddles of water on them. Bath floor looked like Kitchen floor. Spigots in both bathrooms still had smears on them, looking as though they barely wiped them down. Coffee table had stuff on it that it didn't have when they started. Crumbs were left between grills on the stove because they did not remove the grills parts to adequately clean them. While I think one of the cleaning woman saw the disappointed look on my face, she quickly explained that they generally do a much more detailed job if given time and if I paid extra. That was company policy. I understand what a deep clean is and ensuring that floors are adequately cleaned (with no puddles of standing water on hardwood) doesn't involve a detailed cleaning. It involves doing a basic job well. I am very disappointed with this service and will not be hiring them back any time soon.

You bought a coupon for regular house cleaning (two-hour cleaning by two people, or four-hour cleaning done by one person). A team of two came to clean your house. It turned out that you needed not a regular cleaning, but a deep one. You didn't tell how dirty your house was. If you were not sure, you should have used our estimate service, which is provided for free. Our employees worked hard cleaning your house and tried to clean as much as they could, but you need to understand that two hours are not enough for a deep cleaning of the entire house. Our experienced team did their best, cleaned all the main rooms and did their job qualitatively. They also explained that they could continue the cleaning for extra payment. Unfortunately, you didn't agree to give our people more time in order to do deep cleaning. It is not fair to us that you have bought the deal for $99 and expect to have the deep cleaning of the entire house with 3 and half bathroom, kitchen, 9 rooms, vacuuming and cleaning hard wood floor and tile floors including rags on it. Our clients who want to get the deep cleaning usually explain the conditions of the house, schedule the free estimate in order to choose appropriate type and deal to make their house cleaned according to their requests. Please, take into consideration that for such a good and affordable price, our employees accomplished a lot. It was more than regular house cleaning. We are sorry for inconvenience. Maria House Cleaning was very diligent in following up with us after we purchased this Angie's List special. They continued to contact us and stay in touch although we didn't call back. Once we did decide on a date and time; the house cleaners arrived on time and completed a lot of work in two short hours. I was impressed with their speed and the cleanliness of the home. Our wood floors are still "squeaky" clean. Very impressed with the work performed and will definitely use them again.
