Maria House Cleaning

The cleaners were great. Prompt, hard-working, detailed, friendly, and even stayed a few minutes over to complete the finishing touches. I've never had my house professionally cleaned before, but utilized an Angie's List Big Deal to do this as an anniversary present for my hubby and me. :) The cleaners arrived on time, consulted with me on what I wanted done, and then set to work. The female cleaner spoke English pretty well and was eager to practice speaking, and the other didn't talk to me, but was kind/hard-working. I specifically requested they work on the black mold around my window frames, and they did so. They didn't have a small brush for that work, though, so the English-speaking one asked if I had one they could use. I happily dug up an old toothbrush (saved for cleaning) and handed it over. I noticed the spray bottle she was using on the window frames was a 409-kind of cleaner, and since that is a kind of degreaser and I didn't want the finish on the wood sills to be eaten at, I asked if she had a more general cleaner. She happily switched to a "green" all-purpose cleaner. They worked quickly and carefully while I popped in and out/helped where I could. I knew it would be hard to fit it all in in two hours. About an hour in, I voiced my concern about hitting the basics on all of the house instead of doing super-detailed work (dusting the light fixture above the bathroom sink). They obliged and quickly wrapped up upstairs and shifted to more general work as they dove into the downstairs. However, that doesn't mean they did shoddy work. After they left, I would gape at the downstairs tub and how much it shone! It made me smile for days. I also continuously smiled as I looked upon my gleaming hardwood floors. They stayed a few minutes over so they (the guy, actually) could do a quick run all over the downstairs with their vacuuum, as that was the only big item remaining. I was soooo glad they did; it really was a great finishing touch, and made me more happy than I would've imagined. If I ever hire a house cleaner again (maybe for our next anniversary!), I will use Maria House Cleaning.

It went great! The end result was good. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others.

Maria housecleaning is very reasonably priced and accommodating. Her cleaners arrive on time and do good work. She generally tries to send the same people who get familiar with the homeowner's preference for how things are done. However, I would suggest having someone at home when the cleaners come. We have occasionally had to remind our cleaners to do certain tasks that aren't part of the routine but that we have requested.

It went well, it's my second time using this company, I"m going to use them again soon.

They did not have the list from Angie's List of who had prepaid for the service, and I received a phone call asking for payment. The Angie's List of paid clients did not arrive to them in a timely manner.

They were done an 1 hour early but stll charged me the whole amount. I went around the house and found things not done. There was dust on top of lights, mirrors, and baseboards.

Maria's Hpusekeeping did a fabulous job on a deep clean for our house. We were getting it ready to sell and they did a final clean before the first open house - with everything from polishing the stainless steel appliances, dusting a lot of wood blinds, to fancily folding all of the towels in the house. There was a language barrier with the cleaning staff, but their scheduling coordinator served as a translator when needed.

It went very well, I was very pleased with how everything turned out. They were very accomidating and wanted to know if there was any special requests. I plan on having them come again in the future

The couple from Ukraine was hard to communicate with; he didn't speak any English; rather impersonal.|Cleaning of floors was mediocre.

The crew of 2 showed up on time and got right to work. In about 2 hours, they were able to go through our kitchen, 3 bathrooms and many other cleaning tasks that we asked them to help us with. I thought their attention to detail was great, and found them to be very friendly and accomodating. Their price is also great!

Overall I am pleased with Maria's cleaning service. They do a good job on the kitchen and bathroom and leave things shiny and spotless. I choose B instead of A for quality because they do miss things each time they come -- the first time the failed to wipe the tables in our family room and the second time they didn't wipe the shelves in the main bath shower. Additionally, the second time they came, they we're very late. They were supposed to arrive between 8am and 9am, and didn't arrive until nearly 10am. Lastly, while Maria is easy to communicate with, the cleaners who actually come to our house don't seem to speak much English, making it difficult to give them instructions.

Scheduling was prompt and responsive. We were partially moved into a new house and asked for cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens including cupboards & drawers, window sills, and some dustier nooks and crannies. Most of the housework was done well. My husband was home during the cleaning, and I wasn't able to come on site until 6 weeks later. No one occupied the space in the interim. Upon inspection when I arrived, it looks like some of the cabinets were done hastily. For example, when I ran a white towel over one of the cupboard shelves, the front was clean, but the back came back dirty. Similarly, the backs of some of the drawers still contained hair and dust. Price was reasonable, but unsure if I would hire again. Would recommend supervision by someone who is attentive to cleaning detail.

I guess it went well with the services from Maria House Cleaning. It worked well and got the job done. I would recommend them. They did a decent job. They were hard working people.

It was pretty good. They were thorough. They did what I asked them to do and it was very clean after they left, it was a one time cleaning. They were late in arriving and that kind of threw everybody's schedule off because I had my son there to meet them. But other than that, I don't think I had any other problem.

Did a great job and will definitely be using them again in the future. Cleaner showed up on time and was able to schedule on very short notice. I am very picky and have always found something wrong with every cleaner I've ever had come to my house, but this one did awesome and am planning to have them start coming on a monthly basis. I honestly did not find anything to complain about after she left.

It was fine. We made correspondence and after that, we agreed on time and two people showed up. It was good. They lived up to our expectations. The people who came to our house may not be the same ones that will be going to other members house so it all depends who goes into their house so I cannot really say that I will recommend everyone from that service since there were only two people that came to our house. We were happy with that. The price was reasonable.

They were good. They cost was a little on a high side compared to some of the others that we've used but they're better than other deals.

They do a great job calling the day before they arrive to my home. One time, I was out of town and had told them I wouldn't need their service that week and she still showed up and they couldn't get into the house. There was another time I was not satisfied with the work they did. Otherwise, they do a great job and they are courteous and punctual.

I am checking other company's prices and service.

they did an excellent job. They did more than I expected by picking up the kids' playroom as we had not had the opportunity to get that done before they arrived.

Very pleasant couple with limited English skills arrived on time. The quality of their work was fair--many things were missed that I would have expected would be done. There was excellent follow-up by the management but I would not recommend this housecleaning service based on this experience.

I was happy with their service - there were a couple of areas forgotten, but overall quite good.

Very professional - arrived on time - looked over job/house with us - asked a few questions - and then went right to work. We were so impressed that we have set up regular cleaning services with them.

It was very easy to schedule and reschedule with Maria. She is always responsive to my email. I am very pleased on the communication part. Maria sent her staff over. She was here on time. She did not waste any time and worked non-stop. She cleaned kitchen and bathrooms, the major areas I hoped to be focused on. The kitchen was cleaned more than I could expect. Everyhting was done so prodessionally. I am very impressed.

They did a great job cleaning my house but left early because there was nothing else to do! The cleaners were GREAT, it's the company I had the issue with.
