Lifetime Muffler Brake & Radiator

*AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS* My experience was so so with these folks. The first call I made to them it was good. Explained to the lady (Deana) that my car shakes when I brake. She said that definitely is your front brakes. Got a quote in my email and set an appointment for next day (appeared to have open availability). My girlfriend took my car to the shop for me and said the lady seemed very lost. I get later that morning saying your front brakes are not the issue its the back. Also got an updated email with a quote. The quote was for a 2014 Kia. I drive a 2013 Nissan Sentra. She then called back and said that she mixed up the vehicles and they had not seen my car yet. I get another call back saying great news, its your front brakes. Then again shortly after saying it was simply just my back brakes and my brakes in the front were good. The backs were bad. MULTIPLE DIFFERENT CALLS SAYING DIFFERENT PRICES AND THAT THEY HAD THE WRONG CAR. JUST FELT THEY WERE JACKING PRICES UP ON ME EACH CALL I GOT FROM THEM. She said it would be $775 but she can lower it to $600 if I paid cash. I did have a $110 oil change included. Here I am with new back brakes and still the same problem. I called back, left a voicemail.......The voicemail said that it sucks and thanks for calling back. They need me to take my car back and leave it so they can test drive it and see what I got going on and are talking about. SHOULDNT THEY HAVE DONE THAT INSTEAD OF ASSUME IT WAS MY BRAKES? I emailed Dana as well and she said............(See attached image below) Basically they did not know that my car was shaking. This is why I took it to them is because of that, and as stated she diagnosed instantly it was brakes in the front, based off the shaking I described. I get people have bad days but this has made my day bad. It just felt very sketchy and like a cover up, or they were trying to make money off of me. I will not be back and I will just have someone else look at it.

Busy shop. Took my vehicle in as soon as possible, discussed the situation with me, was clear about what was required and prices. Delivered the vehicle as soon as he had completed and tested the repair. Discussed possible other issues but did not use and quot;scare talkand quot;. Seems an honest and efficient repair shop.

How did it go? Very very well. He is very friendly, but doesnt like to talk while he works, although watching is acceptable. :):)
We agreed that the resonator could be eliminated, so Kevin formed a new tail pipe from the full muffler back and did a very nice job. He spent about 45 minutes or so. I will use him again, I hope everyone in Renton will give him a chance.

Front left wheel was making odd noises and smoke was coming out of the wheelwell on my Jeep Cherokee. Kevin at Lifetime knew what the issue was pretty quickly as he has many years experiance with all makes and models. My 19 year old Jeep needed new brake calipers and pads, which were installed with a minimum of fuss and cost. Wondering what the dealership would have charged, I called and the service adviser quoted me 725.00 + tax....so I saved a ton and I'm pretty sure I got a better part quality.

This is the only place I'll take any of my cars to as they've worked on everything except my motorcycle with nothing but great results.
