Instant Garage Door Repair - IGD

The whole process went off flawlessly. Four weeks, start to finish. Isacc, the company owner, visited and inspected the old slab style doors and left a brochure and estimate for the work to be done. After getting other companies bids we negotiated a price and scheduled the work. The installer arrived on time and, with 16 years experience and 6 years with this company completed the work in just 3.5 hours. Amazing!

Great as I stated above prompt, kind, courteous, knowledgeable and fast worker everything you’d want. This review is old nearly 2yrs I didn’t pull the receipt to be exact I just wanted to get it up here finally.

Grant came out a few days after my initial call to the company to fix my door. He did some roller replacements and pulley replacements and then aligned the door and it worked much better. About a week later the door started violently swaying from side to side while lowering it, and I felt it very unsafe. I called IGD and Isaac came out to access the situation promptly. He explained what the problem was, fixed it in about an hour and didn't charge me for parts or labor. I was ready to pay for the additional time and labor for the 2nd trip to my house, but he was too kind and refused. Isaac is a professional and interesting to talk to.. I would hire him again in a heart beat and recommend him in the highest regard.

The repair person phoned ahead to inform me he was on his way. once he arrived, he looked at the door, did a few test on it to confirm it was only the spring and not any addition issues. He was very courteous and explained how long it was going to take. When job was completed, he showed me what was done in addition to periodic maintenance I could do myself or call them to do it.

A very pleasant experience from beginning to end. My call was answered right away and in just a couple of minutes I had an estimate and a two hour appointment window for the following morning. Isaac arrived on time, quickly assessed the door problem, and explained what needed to be done. Even though my door was an old design and very heavy he had the required springs in his truck. 45 minutes later the work was done and Isaac showed me the door was perfectly balanced and operated the door to demonstrate proper operation.

Jamie was the installer. Did a very pro job. Check all the work performed for accuracy. They also did the roller replacement, end plates and tune up labor at no additional charge. The other nice thing was we called them around 6pm on a Tuesday evening they got on the repair work the next morning at 10AM. That's exceptional service.

It went excellently. This is the second time I've worked with IGD and Issac and he's been fantastic both times. Prompt, courteous, helpful, honest -- it's hard to find people to do such great work these days, especially hard to find someone so responsive and caring about his customers as Issac is. From appointment scheduling (easy) to calling before the appointment to let me know he was on his way, then the follow through with the excellent work on the garage door, Issac and IGD are professionalism personified. I will always use IGD for any necessary garage door repair and have no reservations recommending them to everyone I know.

Our garage door had broken so I went to Angie’s List to find top rated garage door suppliers. IGD was one of the three recommended. In less than a minute from the time the form was submitted online, Fran from IGD had called me. She informed me of the various options and the companies whose doors they installed. We set up an appointment for the next day. I contacted a total of four companies and two came to see the door that same day. One said he could repair it but it might last only 6-12 months. Both companies said they would send me estimates by email for new doors. They took 5 days to send the estimates. Isaac from IGD came the next day as scheduled. He said it could be repaired easily and he would give a 4-year warranty. Plus, he had all the necessary steel reinforcements and supplies in his truck (including a 16’ piece of angle steel, which he used) and he would repair it immediately. I also asked for estimates on various types of new doors. He made the call there and had the estimates for three different types of doors in about 10 minutes. The repair for the door was 35% of the least expensive door, so we had him repair our door. In about 1 ½ hours he was finished and the door works great, better than it ever has. Plus it was done on the spot! I am not sure what I would have done if I had waited for the other highly rated companies as I would not have a working garage door for a long time. I highly recommend IGD. They deserve 6 stars. His repair was a quality job, Isaac is very professional and skillful, and their new door prices were $200-$300 less that the same doors that the other companies quoted. I have already recommended IGD to a contractor friend and others. Go with IGD, as you will not be disappointed. If your door can be repaired, it will be done quickly and will be much cheaper than a new door. If you need a new door, they will probably be less than other companies.

Excellent. Everyone was very nice and professional, and I certainly felt like they appreciated my business. I'm confident in the install and that if there happens to be any issues, that they will take care of me.

Truly exceptional service by Issac at IGD. On time, on budget, super professional, super courteous and customer focused. Provided 100% accurate estimates before the job and was very honest in terms of what needs a fix now and what doesn't and is good for another few years. Highly recommended with no reservations whatsoever. You will not go wrong with him. Among the best contracting services I have had in years fixing stuff at home. Fantastic!  Called to get an estimate.  Was offered an appointment for a free estimate and repair.  The person that came  on time to give the free estimate offered the same price as was given over the phone.  No hard upsells.  Then offered to do the repairs but gave me the opportunity to shop around if I wished. I choose to have the repairs done immediately.  And this was all on Easter Sunday.  Repairs were done in a timely manner  And cost were exactly as quoted. You can tell that this business is very customer service oriented.  Highly recommend.

Isaac, who came out to do the work, was very conscientious and discovered that he could save us $200 by using the existing mechanism, so the job wound up coming in under the initial quote.  It was great working with someone with integrity and a good work ethic.
