They had a great selection. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They let us test drive the bike outside. The salesman came out and made some adjustments. He actually decided we needed a different size frame to fit my wife just right. We went with a slightly larger frame and we wouldn't have known to do that. She is really happy with the way it worked out. They are a full service bike shop and we recommend them.

I was quite disappointed by their response on my 2nd time there. I explained that the problem was still happening, and their response was to lift the bike up, spin the tire while shifting the gears, and point at the derailleur to show me that it was performing correctly. I explained that doing that didn't really help me, I'm not a bike mechanic, and what I wanted was for the bike to not drop its chain. They suggested that a rough paved trail or pedaling backwards might cause it, and I responded that I didn't see other riders stopped and putting their chains back on. But he just kept spinning and shifting and pointing at the derailleur, even after I asked him not to do that. (In fairness, they did quickly fix the high gear range problem, but that was caused by their having left the tension adjustment go-jobbie loose the first time.) Basically, they said nothing could be done about it, and they had no suggestions. Actually, he seemed annoyed with me for not "getting it". I was frustrated by this whole experience. I took the bike to another shop with great customer service and high standards, who solved the problem and made sure I was happy. And charged about the same amount as I had paid Center Cycle for sloppy work that didn't solve the problem.
