I'm very happy with the service received from Schmitty's plumbing. When I called them about a leaky shower faucet, they were quick to respond and even quicker to solve the problem. They also offered to look at any other issues, and quickly fixed a garbage disposal issue as well. The price of the service visit was exactly as quoted over the phone, and was reasonable.

I love these guys and they will be my go-to for any work they do in the future. I replaced a toilet myself but still had some issues with water leakage. They looked things over a d verified I did the toilet replacement correct but were able to identify the leak and help me address it.

These guys are our new go-to for plumbing. We had them in for an 'emergency' repair when our upstairs toilet was linking into the downstairs ceiling. Prompt, quick, professional. We had them back again to replace the PRV in our home. Again Prompt Quick Professional AND our pipes stopped squealing. I will definitely hire them again when it's time for other updates/changes that I cannot do myself.

Brian has saved us a few times from house leaks. The first time the main was cracked somewhere, pouring water into our driveway. Brian responded to our call for help very quickly, came out the same day and gave us a very reasonable bid (unlike the few other companies we called which asked for large emergency fees before coming out and didn't even have time to come out immediately - 24 - 48 hours out for a main leak!). Brian found where the leak was coming from after digging for a few hours, patched the main line, and installed a new main shut off (previously a wrench was required to toggle the water to the house), all for much less than other companies quoted over the phone. The second and most recent time Brian came out was to assess and fix a downstairs can light leaking water. Brian responded quickly and came out the same day we called. He quickly found the upstairs toilet seal was no longer viable, resealed the toilet, and cleaned out the leaky can light, again for a very reasonable price. Brian is a great plumber and I highly recommend him and his team. Thanks so much, Brian!

It went very well. They called ahead and were on time. Clearly explained everything required and delivered quality work very quickly. Everything was repaired and tested several times before departing. Took the time to answer all questions and discussed clearly and honestly.

Schmitty tech was friendly and knew what to be performed and minimize the cost. He had to make couple visits to complete the job. He was flexible scheduling the time.

We noticed a brown spot on our family room ceiling directly below our master bath. I called Schmitty's plumbing and spoke with Courtney who got back to me within an hour to let me know that they had someone coming out today. We will be using Schmitty's Plumbing for all of our plumbing work from now on! We were able to get an appointment quickly, and Brian was on-time, pleasant, and professional. He was clear upfront about costs and options, explained the work that was needed, and quickly made the needed repairs at a reasonable cost. We are very happy to have found a plumber that we have confidence in.

Despite difficulties getting to the area, Brian and his helper got the job done and also helped a cleanup company locate and dry up the space. Can't say enough about his cooperation and willingness to do whatever it took to complete the work.

We had a tricky leak that needed tracking down. We could hear it, but not see it. Our usual plumber was not available, so found Schmitty's on AngiesList and called. Thankfully, he was available to come out that afternoon, and after some detective work we finally narrowed down the area. It was evening by then, so he brought Trace out first thing in the morning to dig under the foundation and expose the leak. Between the two of them, they solved the issue... which turned out to be not one, but four pinholes in the copper pipe underneath the cement slab foundation. Brian said it might be the trickiest soldering job on the least amount of available pipe (1/4") in a very tight area in 20 years. Their pricing was reasonable and fair for an emergency service. Would definitely call them again. Thanks Schmitty!

I called and Schmitty's told me they could have someone there at 8 AM the next day. They called the next morning and confirmed that the repair team was on its way and two members of Schmitty's staff arrived shortly thereafter, showing up a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time. They were courteous and efficient, and soon had the problem valve apart. It was an older design (40 year old house) and not the brand of valve I'd suggested when I'd called them so they had to go out to obtain the necessary replacement part but they were back soon and the installation went very quickly. The valve works fine now and I'm happy.

We had a leak in our ceiling on the first floor and couldn't determine where it was coming from. We called Schmitty's and they put us on the schedule for the next afternoon. They called, as promised, when they were 30 minutes away. They were punctual, polite and extremely professional. Chad and Trace were able to find our leak (a faulty upstairs toilet) and get it stopped by properly reinstalling our toilet. Their price was reasonable and they did a great job. I will definitely hire them again.

Brian and his team were professional and honest. It was determined that there was a major blockage due to incorrect strapping and the re-insulation of the duck work in the crawl space.

Brian and his associate arrived on time and were professional. They had the job completed quickly. I was also to get an appointment quickly when I initially called.

Install was on time and as described. '1st Response' did the job I expected for the water heater install. Good customer service for scheduling. Note that the Angie's list price of $799 only covers the installation of 50 gallon gas AO Smith hot water tank. Assuming you also do installation of new brass fittings, new flex lines and new expansion tank (which you should probably all do with the new water heater) it will cost an ADDITIONAL approx $500-600 (mostly labor costs). That's a competitive price but still, you should be aware that the original quote is just for the water tank install itself, nothing else. All-in-all they did a good job for a competitive price. A few months after the install, so far, I can say I would recommend them for this type of work.

I was aware that we needed to replace our water heater and took advantage of the deal on Angie's List. Because of summer vacation schedules, I pushed off the installation for several weeks. While I was on vacation, they contacted me that they had some vacation schedule issues for the week of our planned appointment so when I returned home, I rescheduled the installation to yesterday with a two hour arrival appointment. The office confirmed our appointment the day before and the technician called before the arrival time to let me know he was running behind and gave me an estimate of when he would arrive, and again called to tell me the exact time he would be here (I appreciated that they kept me informed and he was only an hour later than originally planned). Interestingly, the appointment was fortunate since our water heater had pooped out the night before! The technician arrived, very professional, and we talked about what he was planning to do before he started, made recommendations for replacement of some of attached equipment and the reasoning why replace, and what the cost of those replacements would be before he started, and gave me an estimate of how long the installation would take. When he finished, he went through the completed equipment with me and left a clean worksite. Trace was an excellent representative for the company. I would use this company again if needed.

Purchased an Angie's List deal for a hot water heater for $799. However, when the installer arrived, my installation required a direct-vent hot water heater. That was provided by the company at a later date for $1799, a quite reasonable price. I would recommend them, and use the company again.
