It went very well. They came in and took a look at it and explained the rotten pipe would need replaced. It only took about 45 minutes. The job looks good and works well. They were easy to deal with and easy to schedule the appointment. They were very nice people.

The guys called when they were on their way to the house. They were very friendly and professional from beginning to end. They look at the sink plumbing, asked some questions about what had been done and gave us a quote and set to work. During the work on the sink, my husband asked me if I wanted them to look at a toilet we were having issues with and after asking if we wanted them to look at it, they immediately went to have a look. After finishing the sink, which even included all the sealing, they went to get the new toilet and returned within the hour. They discovered a drain issue that was causing standing water in the pipe, cleared it, and replaced the new toilet again. They did everything within the price quoted and weren't happy with the job until everything flowed as it should. We never felt we were going to be left with a problem or get "jacked up" in the price. You hear so many horror stories and this experience was so far away from that, that we felt blessed to have found these guys. Not only would we call them again if needed, we are going to tell our friends to give them a call and not be fearful or anxiety ridden. Didn't think there were businesses out there who actually care about their name and reputation and their customers. It was like having your dad come over to help you.

Came when they said they would. Was willing to do extra drains if necessary. Seemed to know what they were doing. Plan to call them back because the problem still exhists.. Puddle on floor of Laundry room. Satisfied customer soon..

Jerry arrived at the specified time and finished the work much quicker than I had anticipated. He fixed the problem and cleaned up the work area and even patched up the wall he had to go through. Great job.

This is my second time using J&K Plumbing. Last month I called them to change a tub spout and replace the valley cartridge in my shower because there was more water coming out of the faucet than the shower. They charged $160.00 which I didn't think was unreasonable. This month when I got an extra high water bill and found out I had a leak in my main water line I called them again. Jerry came out and gave me an estimate of $1700. to dig everything up and put in a new line. My house was built in 1924 and it had the old galvanized pipe that was pitted and corroded and falling apart. I knew there was no point in trying to repair just one section so I said yes to the job. After going to City Hall Jerry got a rude surprise when they charged him $195.00 for the permit!! He did NOT add that to my bill. He worked hard digging everything up including a large heavy piece of old concrete which no longer served any purpose. He carefully pulled out some small decorative plants and set them safely aside. His dad (also named Jerry) came along and put things back together after the City Hall inspectors gave their blessing on the job done. The plants were put back exactly as before. When all that was finished they came in the house and repaired the shower in my second bathroom and also installed the new toilet. I hope I'm finished with all my plumbing problems but whatever happens I won't hesitate to call them. They are fast, efficient,friendly, honest and do quality work. I will tell everyone I know to call J&K Plumbing for any of their plumbing needs.

Since my wife banned from doing plumbing repairs J&K is my go to guy.Even though he was working on a large job, while waiting for parts, he came to take care of my issues. Will use them again .

They did a very good job, our only problem was they duplicate billed us, when our credit card bill came, it was on there twice. My wife called and told Jerry about it and he said they would back it out. That never happened, and we had to call the credit card co. and depute the second billing. Our credit card co. contacted J& K's bank to dispute the secound charge. We should get a answer from our credit card co.telling us it has been resolved.

I called them on the weekend concerning a leaking outside hose bib. J & K Plumbing arrived first thing Monday am as promised. He gave us a fixed price that was quite reasonable. He then efficiently replaced the bib. He was very professional, punctual, and pleasant. We will always use this plumbing company in the future.

I called J&K Plumbing to come and fix a pipe that had broken off in my hand under the sink in the kitchen. Water had completely soaked my kitchen and the plumbers I had originally called couldn't come for almost 2 hours and their reviews were terrible. I decided to try someone else and Jerry Church came within 40 min of my call and fixed the pipe even quicker. He was friendly, efficient and fair priced. He definitely saved my kitchen from a lot of water damage. I would highly recommend this company.

Having your hot water heater die isn't great anytime, but Thanksgiving morning is a particularly bad time. I called J&K's phone number very late that night expecting to just leave a message on their office voicemail, but Jerry picked up the phone himself, despite the hour and the holiday! We talked about our options, which unfortunately boiled down to "time for a new one" because the old one had reached the end of its useful life after almost 12 years. Jerry was able to fit us in the very next morning and the replacement was smooth and easy. We had used J&K's services a few years ago to replace our broken water lines from the street to the house, so they were our first choice for this exciting new plumbing opportunity.

Arrived on time, did the work, cleaned up, and presented the bill. Discussed other services. The plumber/owner was so honest did try to up sell me.

Called and made appointment with Jerry for first thing the next morning and he arrived a half hour ahead of schedule while I was not home. This caused some delay as my wife tried to find the right key for access to the crawlspace. This was sorted out by the time I arrived about 15 minutes later. Removal and replacement of the hose bib took about 45 minutes. It required some extra effort as it was encased in brick and mortar, but with Jerry's expertise and correct tools it was handled quickly and professionally. I'm sure glad that I didn't try replacing it myself!

Great! On time and within budget. J&K Plumbing bids were far less than other big name plumbing companies.

I purchased a new toilet at local box store. I watched the videos and read directions on how to install. All went pretty well, except when finally installing it, it wasn't totally flat (one side higher). Tried a couple times and finally decided i needed an expert's help. We called several plumbers on Angie's list and got quotes up to $350.00 just to install the toilet. We found J & K Plumbing and gave them a call. They gave a quote over the phone and were available the same day. The install did not go 100% as smooth as expected, and he had to replace the flange to get it to sit flush/flat. Definitely something I would not have known to do. Jerry came out, was absolutely personable and pleasant. He got along with our dog and cat (always a bonus), AND didn't mind me observing and asking occasional questions. I like to learn and do it myself when possible (for next time!). Since he was wrapping up, i asked him about another minor project i didn't have the tools to complete (Pex spreader). He crawled into the crawlspace and said it would only be a bit more to finish that up as well. He had to make a couple trips between his truck and the crawlspace, and i think he spent more time than expected, but still stuck to his quoted price. Wow, a refreshing experience! We will call J & K Plumbing next time we need help. I cannot recommend, or rate, them higher.

He rearranged his schedule to get to my job right away, was efficient, extremely polite and friendly, and even covered his shoes with booties so he wouldn't soil my carpet.

He was prompt, very fast and careful. He showed up on time when he said he would. He was considerate, but too expensive.

We called and scheduled an estimate. They arrive on time, did a thorough inspection and provided a quote. We told them we were waiting for 2 additional quotes and they were good with that. When we recieved the other 2 quotes, we went for J and K. We called, scheduled a day. They arrived on time, did the work to our satisfaction.

Our water heater overflowed on a Friday afternoon. I called J & K Plumbing and they were out within an hour. They replaced the relief valve and advised me to replace another part which they did not have with them. They returned the following day and replaced the second part. I also asked them to repair the toilet which they did. All work was done well and fast. Both men were knowledgeable and courteous. This is a local family owned business which I would highly recommend.

I found them on Angie's list. They did the work in one day and I was very impressed. I called and said that it was not put in exactly right and he came out and fixed it.

I initially called J&K because I thought that the T&P valve on my water heater was leaking. Jerry and Les came out that same day to take a look, and the valve did not appear to be leaking at that time. In looking at my set up and talking about it, I mentioned to them that I had been wanting to do a complete re-pipe for a long time, so they offered to work up an estimate for me. When I got their bid the next day, I was pleasantly surprised and scheduled them to do the work the following week. Jerry and Les showed up exactly when they said they would and immediately got to work. I have never seen two guys work so hard in my life! They spent a total of 11 hours at my house, much of it underneath in the crawl space which I know from experience is miserable work. They were friendly and professional every step of the job. I tried to stay out of their way so they could work, but they did allow me to work in with them briefly since I had some minor carpentry work that I wanted to do in the water heater closet while they had the heater out. The thing that amazed me the most is that after putting in about 7 hours in and under the house installing the lines, at about 3pm, they got out shovels and dug the trench to the water meter (about 30 feet) completely by hand! By about 7pm they finally got everything hooked back up, tested and working. During the course of the job, while underneath the house, they identified some faulty drain line work which explained why my drains were noisy and gurgled. (Whoever had done the plumbing on this old house years ago had definitely cut some corners.) They made note of what was deficient and came back a couple days later with a bid to correct all those additional items. I again scheduled them immediately and they came and cranked out that work in about 3 hours. Now my drains are properly vented with functioning P-traps and are nice and quiet. For any plumbing work I might have in the future, these are the first and only guys I will call. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Overall...it went super! The job was done very well...couldn't have asked for better service. Totally will use again in future.

J&K provided an estimate at the time they said they would be at my home. Scheduled the service for later in the week (my request). They arrived on time and provided quick and professional service and were in and out in about 1 hour.. Pricing was very good for the work done and I would definitely use J&K for future plumbing needs.

Remodel on bathroom came to halt when tile contractor discovered that 30 y.o. shower valve needed replacing ~ Yikes I was hosting Thanksgiving the following day. Starting searching Angie's list at 8am to find a plumber who could come that day. Spoke with Roberta from J&K who assured me someone could come between 1:30-2:30pm ~ Great! no need to make any more calls. I provided her with my tile contractor's number and left to finish T-day shopping. Tile man rescheduled his day around J&K's promised timeline, only to receive a call from Roberta that the window had been pushed to 3:30pm. But at 3:30 ~ no plumber, just another call from J&K informing us not to expect anyone before 5pm, with no estimate how late they would be. With my tile guy on the clock, I had no option but to cancel the dispatch. Had I known at 8am that they may not be able to fulfill their commitment or that my job was on a "wait list", I would of called one of the other 100 plumbers on the list ~ but at 4pm on Thanksgiving Eve., I was out of options. This company certainly doesn't make my list of things I'm "thankful for"!
