My usual auto repair shop was unavailable due to health issues so I reluctantly went to John Wayne auto because I needed repairs. They fixed several items on my f350 truck and the cost was a little more than I expected but I needed them done ASAP because this is a commercial vehicle and my livelihood depends on it. After the work was done, the truck was still running rough. I took it back and asked them to fix the engine misfire. They took the truck back and then said everything was fine. I immediately regretted my decision. I took the truck home and examined it myself. One of the spark plug wires was disconnected. Not only are they disingenuous. they are incompetent as well. Morons.

Called and made an appointment, Very professional.. Try 'em, you'll like 'em...

The estimate received on the phone was the same price that was paid at time of pick-up.  Also, wanted to have spark plugs replaced, however, the shop indicated that the existing plugs were okay and that they didn't need to be replaced prior to a minimum of 90K miles - vehicle currently has 79K miles. The shop could've gone ahead and replaced the plugs (I wouldn't have been none the wiser about existing plugs being okay) - really appreciate their honesty. The cost to replace water pump (serpentine belt wasn't known to be worn at time of pump replacement estimate) at a nearby Toyota dealership in Port Angeles, WA, was $800.

Service was prompt and well priced.

I waited in the comfortable atmosphere of the customer service waiting area in the front office.

The owner and office manager spent considerable time making sure I was comfortable.  Enjoyed the old fashioned chat and appropriate good humor "around the cracker barrel" style entertainment with the owner during my wait.

After we had solved all the problems in the world today, and told a few fishin stories, my truck was serviced and repaired, ready to go.

This automotive shop is a wonderful blend of professional, competitively priced care, together with great old fashioned customer service rarely found anymore.

Just like I remember the old service garages of 50 years ago...well with a few fancier gadgets like computers and such.

I will definitely be back, and will recommend this place to my friends and family.
