All the people we have talked to at Croach Services have been professional, friendly, and helpful. They took time to explain everything very clearly, and we read the contracts to be sure we understood them. When we had questions, they answered promptly, and even went out of their way to be accommodating. The work was done as described, and the installers of the new insulation did an excellent job. They also did some minor repairs to insure that rodents would no longer be able to get into our crawl space. We signed up for bimonthly inspections to monitor the space. These services were not inexpensive, but we feel that an excellent job has been done.

We haven't seen them since. They put the bait boxed around the house and distracted them. The price was for the whole year and coming back every month and a half. I've recommended them to several people I know.

The service initially was performed appropriately, it's the billing I have an issue with. The charge is for a quarterly service, which they bill monthly. You'd think they'd take that charge and divide by 3, right? Nope. We cancelled the service after a year, as we sold our house and are moving. Upon cancellation I was told I owe $210. There has been an overage on the charge that is not met by the monthly payment. They have been taking an automatic payment from my account that somehow doesn't even meet their "amount due". On top of that they want to give me a steep penalty for closing the account.

The sales person was very convincing and super friendly. I really thought that this was going to be a good company to work with. I asked that we be notified before services were to be preformed as we have pets and children. I got one call for the first visit and maybe 2 others of our 1.5 years of service. They would randomly show up (and leave no sign that they were ever here) and then we would be billed. Often I would call and they would say that they were out on x date - but I honestly can't know or prove if they ever were. If I happened to be home and would talk to a tech they seemed very uneducated and the quality of service / effectiveness steadily declined. This fall (late Sept) I actually got a VM stating that they would be out on a specific day the following week. I called them that same day (over a week out) and told them that since our contract was up we wanted to discontinue service. I was told that she would note it on the account but that service would not be cancelled until I talked to a account cancellation specialist. 2 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone and I called again. About a week later I got a voicemail stating that we needed to have an actual conversation. After playing phone tag for another 2 weeks (it seems to take 7-10 business days for them to return a phone call) we finally talked and I was told that even though I had fulfilled my contract because the appoint was on the schedule I was still responsible for the full cost of the visit which never happened. At this point I was livid. My husband took over at this point and left numerous messages over the next few weeks only not to receive any return phone calls. Finally over the holiday break we got a call that they were going to send us to collection. After another long game of phone tag (and a call to the BBB on my husband's part) he finally connected with them this week (early Jan). They absolutely REFUSED to waive the cost of the cancelled appointment. Just to be done with them my husband offered them 50% to be DONE with them and they accepted it. Customer service is NOT their strong point outside of the initial sales visit. I am posting not to be mean, but in hopes that others do not have to go through the awful experience we did with them.

We needed huge amounts of work--it appeared no maintenance had been done on either the crawl space or attic since the house was built in 1979. We had 3 inches of insulation in the attic, and almost none over our bedroom. Code today specifies 16 inches. They cleaned out the entire crawl space, had a pest inspection and after a week with no new critters, laid down a new vapor barrier and insulation. Great customer service from Todd and the main office. He explained the estimate line by line with me, even after going over it with my spouse the day prior. One pest inspector didn't put the booties on and was apparently having a bad day--when we called the main office, they rectified it right away and everyone that came and went to do the work took the utmost care to not leave a trail of debris. After the work was done, we were called by PSE as our home was selected for an audit (Clean Crawls takes the PSE discounts right off your bill upfront so you don't get charged and have to show proof for reimbursement). Only 5% of homes get audited, and since we had a ton of work done I'm sure they wanted to see it. The PSE inspector was duly impressed, saying they did not cut any corners, that all the bathroom exhaust fans were wrapped, the baffles weren't covered, and he even said they went "overboard" in using twine to ensure all the ventilation ducting was secure and off the floor. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the work done!

Had a little trouble at first. Believe that Angie's List swamped them. We connected just fine and everyone was very professional. They made some suggestions and will follow up on them. The barrier laid down was done very well. Do not do this yourself or you will be replacing it. Hire these guys for a well laid barrier that will last. Thank you.

We have used Croach for awhile now and have always been more than pleased with their customer service and degree of professionalism and effectiveness in keeping our home free from bugs, spiders, snakes, and mice that wander in from nearby forests and fields. The Croach guys are always very polite and they provide a high standard of service. They seem to go above and beyond to answer all our questions and to suggest preventative remedies to keep pests out. They use a variety of traps and materials that are safe around our dogs and they are very considerate about checking with us before trying something different. It's such a relief to be rid of mice, ants, and spiders that were invading our home. Croach's regular inspections help us maintain a cleaner home. Highly recommend this company!

It was great! Levi hit all the right places! Next morning I found dead spiders upstairs in the hallway and down in the basement. I also found huge hobo spiders in the traps in the garage:) I want to point out that Levi was super friendly and informative. So glad to be able to go in our backyard without walking through a web!!!!

They came and sparyed for spiders and were very professional. The sales rep did say they could spray the entire walk from my front door to the street. When the serviceman came he said he couldn't spray more than 10 feet from the structure of the house due to Washington state law. He did an excellent job and covered both the ground floor, second floor (something other providers don't do) and the interior. I would like to continue to use the bug service, but I'm not sure I can trust this company.

Everything that follows is about service for my crawlspace. I think Croach contracts another company to do this work. I'm

The first visit (I was told by the salesman it would take 5 hours to complete the entire job) they removed all the insulation and set traps for mice. They left a significant amount dirt and debris in my hallway. They removed all the insulation and told my wife they'd be back in a week to install the insulation and fix the water line. I called the rep and asked why they told me 5 hours for everything and only complete half the job in 5 hours. They didn't know why. I asked them to not charge my credit card until the work was complete like our original agreement. He assured me they wouldn't. The supervisor called and told me this service always takes two days. Everything would be completed on the second visit.

The second visit they finished the insulation and fixed the screens buy did not do under my stairs which was included in the bid. . The supervisor did not show up to do a quality check. He was also the only one on the crew that could replace the water line. I called to ask what was going on and the rep assured me this was out of the ordinary. Seems par for course to me. 2 days later my CC was charged 2 separate payments for the total amount of the bid.

The supervisor called to setup his quality control check and to fix the water line. He said, neither he or the salesman knew how to fix the water line. I asked why they agreed to do a service they didn't know how to do. Since they had already charged my CC I asked them to bring a licensed plumber with them to complete the work. Or I could call one and send them the bill. He said he would bring someone to do the work while he did the quality check.

The third visit. The supervisor came out, did not bring a plumber or insulation to finish under the stairs. He spent 30 minutes in my crawl space contemplating to work. He decided he did not have the skills to fix the water line. I told him it's good that he isn't trying to fix something he can't, but why didn't' he bring a plumber? He said he would the next time. He wanted to be at my house when the plumber was here so he could see what needed to be done. I said, you have more insulation to do and I showed him some flaws in the work his team did on the screens. The quality control work was part of why he was there, so I'd expect him to check that.

After about a week the supervisor called to setup the forth visit. The visit he and the plumber would be coming out to my house to finish up the work. He came alone, finished the insulation and fixed the screens. I called to ask what was going on. The rep on the phone assured me this wasn't normal. I said we are 4 trips into a 1 day job. It is very normal. The last visit was Monday. They told my wife they would call me promptly to setup the final service appointment. I called on Wednesday since they hadn't called me yet. I left a message. I called again on Friday since they hadn't called and left a message.

It is Saturday and I am writing a review on Angie's list.

If I ever get this issue resolved I might continue to use them for bug control. They did a better job than the other companies I've used. Insulation? Stay away. If I get the company name who they subcontract out that work I will let you know. Since Croach puts their name on it, this review is for Croach.
