I would recommend Ken for all kinds of decks. He did a great job, on time and within our budget. Best professional we had in a while. I wish he could do plumbing jobs.

Ken Alexander from Decks For You did a beautiful job. I am so happy with my new deck. I wanted a deck that would require no maintenance. He suggested TimberTech. It looks beautiful. He started within a week of my calling him. It took about a week to complete, and his finish work is exceptional. I am so glad I chose Decks For You.

Kenneth was very professional and we are very pleased with our new deck. He works alone and is very efficient. He was very competitive with his pricing and very knowledgeable on decks that we decided to use his services. He worked for 2 days solid and really kept the area very neat considering he was removing a deck as well. Overall we are so glad we used him to make our deck and I highly recommend. Thanks Ken!!!

Ken actually ended up doing three projects for us instead of one. He built our 16 by 12' deck, replaced the stair case from our upper to the lower deck he built so they matched and were up to code, and rebuilt a deck/entrance to our front entrance. Ken represented not one but two companies that had composite decking material unlike the three other bidders that had only one company they represented. Ken pleasantly surprised us all once the job was done. The decks and stairs all turned out better than we hoped for and he even put a bonus handrail on the stairway for the my kids who are 2 and 6. Ken's bid was also significantly lower than the other three which makes you skeptical but the quality of his work definitely tells you that he isn't cutting corners. I have already recommended him to two neighbors that were very impressed. Thanks Ken!

Any client lucky enough to get Mr. Ken Anderson to do your deck will be very happy. He prefers decks 300SF or larger. Ken is true craftsman, pride in work, great work ethic, very competitive price, and a really nice guy. Ken builds wonderful decks. A specialist in decks for over 15 years...Not jack-of-all trades.

Ken Alexander at Decks for You must be one of the most proficient and reliable deck builders in the northwest. After extensive screening, we chose Ken for his combination of price and quality. Be sure to have him show you photos of the deck he built for us. Our new deck for our Queen Anne home was done in Brazilian Ipe ("iron-wood") which, after staining, was so bueatiful that the usual comments we get from friends are neighbors are along the lines of "wow, this looks like the surface of a yacht deck". Absolutely flawless execution. This guy is no fly-by-night contractor...he is a real discovery for anyone looking for attention to detail. 100% perfect!

I was extremely impressed by the craftsmanship from Kenneth. He is a one man crew, but he shows the years of experience. The deck was finished in one week as he said. We decided to go with him for the price and he seemed honest. The quality of the deck far exceeded my expectations. We are extremely pleased, he built a beautiful solid deck below our planned budget. We can not be happier :). I highly recommend Ken for any future jobs.

My deck was fairly small and Ken was the lowest bid, although that is not why I hired him. Because he was the lowest bid I was unnecessarily concerned, and thought he might try to "cut a few corners". The project was the best experience I"ve had with contracted work. Ken obviously knows decks and delivered more then what I expected. The project started and completed right on schedule. I can"t say enough good things about Ken and would recommend him to anyone thinking about a new deck.
