Ms. Burkhamer was very business-like when signing leases and getting paperwork filled out. However, when something out of the ordinary occurred with the property, she was quite uncommunicative and inflexible. After repeated requests to address, she did not deliver on promises for minor repairs, did not communicate on the status of follow up work to repair a dangerous gas fireplace, she let landscaping get out of control and become overwhelming to the front walk and entrance. She required us to meet all of her rules and was totally inflexible about many of them when extenuating circumstances occurred. We are a family who owns and manages rentals. As tenants, we have a track record of leaving things in better shape than we found them and when going through the final walk through, Burkhamer was absolutely inflexible about rescheduling the meeting when my wife came down with pneumonia. Burkhamer seemed heartless.
