"Rob" (owner) was quick to respond to my initial call and followed up with a call to confirm the appointment for service. He arrived on-time and observed CoVid protocol. He was courteous and professional and completed both installations in a reasonable time. Pricing was reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Excellent and prompt service. Found an inexpensive solution that would allow us to continue using the shower without starting a major renovation project. . Would definitely hire them again.

I called Rob to fix a leak from a toilet and shower drain. I had to wait more than a week for his availability, but I was not using that bathroom, and could afford to wait. It was well worth the wait. Rob fixed both issues very quickly (2.5 hours) for a very reasonable price - $390, parts, labor and tax. While waiting for Rob to be available, he proactively followed up with me that he is still planning to come, and came on time for the initial evaluation and for the job to fix it. Very happy with the service.

Rob is so easy to work with. He shows up on time, works efficiently and does an excellent job. I've hired him several times and would hire him again. In fact, he's the only plumber I'd ever call.

They did a fine job. It was a fair price. I had no complaints.

This was a complex job because it required finding where inside the house the faucet was connected, removing a small piece of interior wall, and installing the new faucet outside.
Rob located the interior spot with amazing precision, and finished the work in good time.

Showed on time.  Wanted to tear out major sections in the walls for a ice box water line install.  I said no.  Had to stop him from drilling thru my floor, which are 60 year old oak just refinished.  He was drilling in the crawl space for quite some time when I asked him where he was drilling and told him to make sure that he was not drilling into my support beams.  He drilled an approximate 4 inch diameter hole in my floor and support beam for a 1/2 inch water line.  Ice box did not fit correctly.  If you have a nice house, I do not recommend him.  He is a nice guy but does no produce quality work.   Always seemed in a rush to finish which I felt was driving him to make mistakes, I felt that he was willing to sacrifice the integrity of my home to finish the job quickly.

Rob is always on time and works quickly. He is paient with our old 1950's plumbing. Currently the tub faucet needs to be replaced and he is researching a way to do that without disturbing the vintage tile.

I had a quote for $1200 from a company that pretended to be Mercer Island Plumbing. That was crazy. I had already diagnosed the problem as a broken valve, removed the old faucets, bought the new valve, and excavated the drywall. The parts were less than $200 retail. Rob came in and said it could be as much as $600 including parts. He went right to work confirming that the old valve was broken, recommended a brand of single pressure balanced valve with a face plate that would cover my old dual valve mess. His price was only a few dollars more for the parts than if I bought them myself, so I went with his on-hand stock. He did further excavation of the wall to secure the existing pipes that hadn't been, drilled the hole for the new single valve, and installed everything in pristine, sealed condition, no damage to any of the tile.
He really hustled completing the job in less time than estimated by the big plumbing company. I don't need to call anyone else for future plumbing jobs. Rob of Mercer Island Plumbing is an honest man who works quickly and competently saving time and money.

It didn't go at all, and I was left with the feeling that the business was not interested in having me as a client.  I would have thought that they could have apologized for not being able to service me, offered me a later date to get back to me, explained why they thought it might be better to call another establishment who could service me more quickly, or something to ensure that I might call on them another time.  It was very odd.

They are fantastic. His prices are fair, and he is very prompt, and he is as good as it gets. There are some plumbers who try to gauge you, he does all the work himself.

The first thing I noticed was how professional and considerate Rob is. He called when he was approximately 15 minutes from the house and took his shoes off before entering.  He immediately diagnosed the problems and worked quickly to make the repairs. I will definitely use Rob in the future.

Unplugged the toilet and gave us advice how to avoid having our children and their friends cause the problem again.

No links in any of the sinks.  Everything works great.
We have had MI plumbing come twice to the house.  He returns calls quickly, schedules it same day, if available, shows up on time or calls if running late.  He is quick to get to work.  I only wish it was a 24h service.

Rob was right on time.   He gave an estimate before the start.     He is the only Plumber we will call.

They are absolutely fantastic.  They care.  They follow through on the job, it's nothing like you've ever seen.  I had a very unique faucet and ultimately the job was replacing a washer, it wasn't a big job, but he probably came up to my house about four times, he ultimately did a lot of research and he finally found the one that fit my faucet, because it was European, some French company made it.  After all of that he wanted to make sure I was happy and charged me for replacing the washer and not his time.  It was awesome. I couldn't believe it.
