Crazy quick and affordable. The gentleman they sent out was so professional cleaned up after himself so beautifully, really surpassed all my expectations.

It's the rainy season here in Western Washington; the worst time of year for a leaky roof. I tried a DIY application of sealant to my roof without success. Just one more problem to deal with in an already busy life. Nick, business co-owner/operator, responded to my inquiry on HomeAdvisor. His communication and customer service skills are excellent. He sent "Jimmy the Roofer" out the same day to assess my situation. Jimmy quickly assessed and created a plan to fix my roof. In negotiations with Nick, the initial price was a little high to fix a single leak, but considering I added more to the project to fix other problem areas on the roof, the price appeared fair. Conclusion: With the quick response, exceptional service, fair pricing, and guaranteed work, 1st Choice Construction offer an outstanding value. They seem like honest contractors and at the time of this writing I would recommend to others and hire again.

It was raining hard and I had water dripping into my bathroom. I searched for roof repair on Home Advisor, submitted my emergency repair request and within 30 minutes 1st Choice returned my call. Jimmy showed up within a couple hours. It was dark, so all he could really do was tarp it and look in the attic to see if he could tell where the leak was coming from. He saw some rusted staples coming through our composition roof and said he would return the next day. He arrived when he said he would and repaired the shingles on our roof. To be honest, the cost seemed a little high: over $800; especially since we supplied the shingles. However, it was an emergency, and they did inform me on the phone that there would be a $250-350.00 diagnosis charge plus labor. All in all we were very pleased with their prompt response and their work. We would hire 1st Choice Home Construction again.

They were fast, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.

The 2 man crew was on time and completed the job in about 2 hours. They were very professional and took pictures of the repairs they felt were needed and discussed them with me before the began the work. I was most happy with their work and how quickly they responded.

Materials were staged on a Thursday, work was 98% completed on Friday and Saturday, final touch-ups and 100% clean up were done by Monday. I am very happy with the work that was done and impressed with the people who were doing the work.

My only negative was how long it took for them to cash my check. Showed up on time, worked fast, and cleaned up well.

They were in and out in a very short time. Sealed three gutters for $350 which seems high to me.

They went into a dry rot problem on a corner of the roof and found more than I expected. The project was clearly communicated and visually shown to me which made me confident the project would be done right. Through our weather (wind and rain) they completed the project while protecting the structure. Very nice work. I can feel at ease it was done with quality.

Nick was very helpful and professional. He replaced the damaged flashing that had exposed the roof which created a water path to a second story room. Knowing that rain would return later that evening, it was after dark when Nick completed replacing the flashing.

1st Choice Home Construction Co. is TERRIFIC!! Shay was very professional, knowledgeable, & prompt. We had some roof damage following a wind storm & he responded immediately by phone & understood the importance of replacing the shingles before the next rains came (which were forecast w/in the week!) He was able to bring the matching shingles using Google Image for type & color!! Our roof was repaired & we had the assurance that the whole roof was fine within 24 hrs of speaking with Shay! We also gained valuable knowledge about our roof & projected future care. We highly recommend Shay & his company for quality services!!! A tree branch had completely punched a large hole through our roof. It was really important to us that the repair not be obvious as our roof was only 9 months old at the time. Shay made sure to match the shingles exactly, same brand and color our roofing company had used, and Nick did a fantastic job with the repair! We're very happy with the result and will definitely be calling 1st Choice Home Construction if we ever need roof repair again.

After a tree limb punched a hole through my roof I called several roofers and Shay was the only one I could reach the day after a big windstorm. He repaired the hole that same day and helped me avoid water damage to my house.

I am very pleased with my experience with this company. The owner called me back promptly and they were able to come the next day. Nick was knowledgeable about the repair and worked quickly to finish the job. He went above and beyond by clearing some clogged gutters and giving us some tips on fixing shakes in the future. Price was fair for amount of work.

I wanted to pay via credit card and was discouraged from doing so because it would cost the contractor a fee. To me, the customer should not be swayed or discouraged from having to pay however they want, and we ended up paying via check because of the feeling of being "burdensome". Aside from that, a very pleasant man to work with and they were very quick to come to the house and fix what needed done.
