They were very quick to respond to my request. In fact the were the only company to respond. They arrived on time and were fast to complete the work. I had sticker shock over the price but the work needed to be done so I paid it.

I think their customer service was dismal, they took over 3 1/2 weeks to finish the repairs and the gutter cleaning. I had to call them a couple of times to find out what was going on, they never contacted me with updates on the progress. They left all of the gutter debris in my yard and left a mess on my gutters. I would not ever hire them for another job.

Came out and removed a wood stove chimney from my roof. Roof looks great, almost like it never even happened! Very responsive and reasonable pricing. Will definitely be doing more business with Nick!

Very knowledgeable about tile roof repair and troubleshooting leaks. Employees were easy to work with and responsive to our needs.

Very thorough, and detailed in the evaluation and bid process. We were shown pictures from our roof showing multiple areas needing alteration or repair. Their approach was to refurbish the whole roof rather than the other contractor's plan just to address a slow leak. Now we will have a secure, dry roof for many years.

Dave, the repairman that fixed our loose metal ridge caps, was on time, very courteous and knowledgeable. It looks like the work he did will withstand future storms.

David knew exactly what he was doing and completed the project in a timely fashion. I would definitely hire 1st Choice again and recommend them to anyone needing help with roof repairs.

Had previous patch job by a different company which failed. 1st Choice was able to locate the leak origination area & seal. They also were able to complete job & fix my leak without replacing plywood or pulling up shingles as previous installer suggested. The representative (who was nice guy) was onsite for the repair and inspection for less than 1 hour (maybe 15 minutes for the repair and 45 minutes) and the cost is $700! Furthermore, I was told the inspection would be formally documented with photos for my records along with pricing for any work/repairs for items indicated in the inspection report. No report has been provided to date and the repair was completed more than a week ago.

He seemed to be knowledgeable. It was a difficult fix for him. Hopefully the results are good.

This small repair turned into a structural problem which was larger than expected. As a result, Ben was on the job 1/2 a day and David was back for a full day. Communication between them left a little bit to be desired, but David was able to do a good job.

Top rate. Efficient, friendly, came to my house in a timely manner. Took care of roof repair promptly. Estimate was fair. Job looked great. Cleaned up afterwards. Repairman was professional. Next year I will ask them to replace my roof. I highly recommend them.

I would not recommend 1st Choice. I called them to look at my garage roof which was leaking. Nick sent a young man whose English was non-existent. It was very difficult to communicate with him. He spent an hour evaluating my garage roof, as well as the roof on the rest of my house. There was some minor existing damage to one gutter, and Nick convinced me that 6 roof vents needed to be re-nailed. It took him 30 minutes ( 5 min. per vent) to re-nail the vents, and 30 minutes to repair the gutter. He was at my house for 2 hours, maximum. I then talked to Nick on the phone to find out what I owed for the 2 hours. Nick quoted me a price of $1008. This was for 2 hours of evaluation and minor repairs. Needless to say, I was not happy, and Nick and I had a very heated discussion. We finally settled at $750. Nick said he would send me an invoice for the work done, as well as an estimate to replace my roof. I never received either one. There is no way that 1st Choice can justify charging over $1000 for two hours of work. The $750 I settled for was still a major rip-off. If you are in need of a new roof, I would call any other company but 1st Choice.

Nick was very personable and he explained things very clearly on what's going on. They charge accordingly and very reasonable. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.
