Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal to perform maintenance service on our furnace which another company had worked on. Bruce came and did a thorough examination of our unit, found out a few damages the other company made and partially fixed our problems for us on his second visit (not included in the maintenance). We took our chance not to replace the unit as recommended since Bruce explained that the motor was slightly damaged by this other company. Hopefully the unit will last a few more years. Bruce was very professional, he was very detail-oriented and took great care in his work. He took the time to explain what he was working. He explained the mechanical concepts at my request. Will definitely ask him to come back if we need to replace our unit!

Description of Work: Bird removed from intake venting and cap installed to prevent further incidents. They were friendly, knowable, respectful and provided great service.

Description of Work: Once I purchased the big deal for the furnace service, Day and Nite confirmed my appointment quickly, and showed up on time. The tech was very professional, and explained all the components of the furnace as he cleaned and serviced it. At the end he even checked my water heater, noticed that the overflow tank wasn't under pressure, and showed me how to pressurize it. What's not to like?

Description of Work: I purchased this deal twice, for my own residence and my rental residence. They were able to clean up the furnace, give me a few tips about maintenance, and actually alerted me that the tenant's filter had fallen out of place, bringing dog hair into the furnace. I liked that they were able to show how efficiently the furnace was operating, and give tips for care.

Description of Work: We have had Day & Nite Plumbing for several years, starting with a re-piping in 2007. The next year, they did a major drain revision, finding that half our house was on a septic tank. Last year, 2012, they saw us through a flood and rebuilt our kitchen plumbing and the main bathroom. They have always had good plumbers that went right to work solving our problem. Today we had Sam and Chris. They solved our problem very quickly. We had had Sam before and he is very knowledgeable in the plumbing field and a joy to work with. We would recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Oil to gas conversion. Replaced old oil furnace with new American Standard 80% and a gas hot water heater. They were OK with my prep work and completed only what I wanted done. Worked great.
