We were in Leavenworth visting our vacation home, and over the weekend, the battery/alternator light came on, so I had a pretty good idea it was the alternator. We did not want to risk driving 160 miles home with an alternator that was not working, so we stayed over to Monday, missing work. I always worry about trying to get a car in for repair on Mondays, but Safe Havens managed to find time for me, which I really appreciated. He was very busy, but when he asked me what was wrong with the car, he said he could squeeze it in. Had it been something more time consuming, he may not have done it, but I really appreciated him finding time for our car so we could go home Monday and not have to miss another day of work.
The cost for the alternator replacement was $300, which I think is pretty reasonable.
