Great bang for the buck!

Jim and his crew refinished our hardwood floors and they look amazing- better than new! We had several bids from different people for this project. Jim was our last bid and while a bit more expensive he was so detailed in what they included in the price I think we actually saved some money when compared to what the other bids did not include or were very vague. Jim included everything that would need to be done before, during and after the floors were done. They removed all doors, moldings and toilet and put them all back when finished. (This was going to cost extra in the other bids we received). Jimâ s crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up before they left. They also worked extra to limit the amount of time we had to be out of our house as we have a toddler. Jim came out to inspect the floors when they were done and saw some spots he wanted to redo and they ended up putting an extra coat of finish on with no extra cost. I highly recommend Goss floors and would/will hire them again for any future wood flooring projects!

Jim is very friendly very informative extremely patient.the value of the work to cost was amazing. His workers are friendly arrive same time and work hard. Floor is not complete yet but coming along just like Jim said it would. I highly recommend Goss floors. I spoke to many floor guys before hiring Goss none were as informative as Jim. If ever I need another floor Jim will be the first one I call. Itâ s a great family owned business.

Jim Goss and his team are top quality. We requested bids from several contractors, most came back with vague definition of what they would do. Jim was very detailed on his bid and even though his bid was a small percentage higher than others we went with Jim. Once his team started working we knew we had made the right choice. Their knowledge and experience was head and shoulders above the rest. Bonus they were really nice guys. We are extremely pleased with their work. If you are thinking of DIY, I did that once in the past, it's a lot of work and it was so so quality job. Go with the experts and avoid the aggravation.

My floors look lovely, Even more important, I can vouch for the fact that Jim Goss is a man of integrity and decency, who is committed to customer satisfaction. In the course of this job we ran into a difficulty that was not clearly the responsibility of either Jim or myself - Jim worked hard to find a solution that worked for both of us AND he demonstrated excellent communication skills during the process.

Goss Flooring did a wonderful job on refinishing my existing floors and added new hardwood flooring in my living room and dining room. Jim Goss was professional and communicated with me frequently with updates during the long time it took for the wood to arrive (supply chain challenges). The floors came out gorgeous and on-budget. Jim is easy to work with and his company deserves a 5 star review!

Good experience with this project. Jim was clear on the timeframe, when coats will be applied, when we should not be in the house, how to handle pets. He was clear on what is needed such as dryer 220V outlet access, access to panelboard. The crew was good with working with us on the color of the stain, calling with questions during construction, etc. Price was reasonable. They finished on time and on budget and the floors look very good. Also their custom heat vent registers blend right into the flooring and look great.

We had Goss Flooring refinish existing hardwood floors and install new hardwood flooring in our TV Room to match existing floor. Goss Flooring did an excellent job matching existing floor and finishing to match. They started and finished on time and left the house clean. Highly recommend this company.

Jim was a great and prompt communicator. His team stayed right on the narrow schedule I gave them which was a huge help to get this knocked out before the move. The add-ins he suggested were well worth it and I’m thankful for his expertise. Can’t wait to show them off post-COVID!

They did a great job with the instillation of my wood floors and they look beautiful. There was almost no dust and when they where done they cleaned the floors and all the baseboard. They where here over a week and I was too. They did everything they could to accommodate me and uncovered the kitchen and hooked up the water in the refrigerator every night so I could use it. I would highly recommend this company for any of your wood floor needs

We were very pleased. Our floor is beautiful. Scott masked off the work are very well. The repaired area looks like new.

My wife and I hired Jim to sand and refinish our hardwood floors and we could not be happier. We went with a darker stain and they removed all the baseboards and put them back on after they completed the work. Chris did about 90% of the work and he is a master at what he does. He was here on time every day and cleaned up and just did a fantastic job. We were also amazed at how little bit of dust we ve had to deal with after the project, it s truly 98% dust free I would guess. Our floors were 20 years old and they look brand new! I can t figure out how to put pictures on this review but I will send some for Jim to post on his website. I would highly recommend these guys for any hardwood floor needs that you might have. Jim Goss is a straight-up guy. We obtained several bids for our installation and refinishing project. Goss's quote was very competitive, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Even after we paid Goss in-full they were wiling to come back to the house and fix one little blemish that only we, the homeowners, would ever notice. He also fixed (at no extra charge) some nail marks that were the result of a previous contractors poor workmanship. We strongly recommend Goss Floors, Hardwood Specialists!

We hired Jim to refinish the floors in a older Seattle home that my daughter and her husband just purchased. We were on a tight schedule to complete the work while the house was empty, before my kids moved from San Francisco. Jim and his crew were great to work with. With my daughter on business in NYC and her husband in San Fran, they were so patient and accommodating while we tried to pick out the right stain using iPhone pictures and texts. When my daughter and son-in-law arrived, they were thrilled with the results! The color was great and floors looked brand new. We would definitely use them again with no hesitation.

We had a tight timeline before moving into our new home in April. Jim and his team were incredibly accommodating to our deadline and exceeded our expectations. Floors are a significant investment and we were anxious about this project but Goss Floors did a fantastic job.
