Kyle, Jack and Renzo did an amazing job. On Xmas someone crashed into our house and burst the gas line from the meter to our house. Kyle understood the circumstances and quickly adjusted their schedule to accommodate an emergency repair. He took care of calling the city inspector and Puget sound energy too coordinate a same day inspection and get the gas back up and running.

I got three quotes for a new water heater and furnace and Black Lion beat all of the others. They had good reviews so I ended up using them.
The job itself was pretty straightforward, the biggest obstacle being an awkward spot for my air filter. As part of my quote, I made sure that it was specified that if they can't get a 4" filter to work that they would have to install something that fits a 1" filter. The original install had a 4" filter box which did not work. The installer then told me I would have to live with a 1" filter inside a 4" box laying diagonal. Note that there was tons of room for air to bypass the filter. This was unacceptable. I settled on leaving it as is since it was late and having them come back to do the job right. I spoke to the salesman and he tried to sell me on some jimmy rigged solution that I said I did not want. Another tech came back a week later and put some rails in the 4" box and told my wife it was complete. When I got home and looked at it, the filter was laying side ways next to the furnace fan. There was no support at all. It was not secured inside the box and looked like an amateur did it. Also, the tech just silver taped over a bunch of large gaps between the filter box and furnace. He did not seal them properly. I had to complain and a working, although not great, solution was installed. Everything works now.
Also I specified how I wanted the thermostat wired to the installers since it was a 2 stage furnace and I had a good thermostat. They told me they did this, but after the fact I found three jumpers out of place and the second stage wire not landed (or even stripped). Without this change, the furnace ran OK, but would take an extra 15 minutes to start the second stage in the mornings or when really cold vs my thermostat saying it should just start right away.
Finally, we had a lot of clean up after they left. They made a big mess and got water everywhere in my finished basement. We had rusty water stains on the tiles near the water heater from the old water heater, dirt everywhere, and mud all over the carpet to the door they used.
Everything works OK right now, but you will have to babysit them if you use them to make sure you get what you asked for. Get EVERYTHING in writing on the quote and don't let them try to talk you into the easy solution because theirs did not work.

It may not sound like much, but our furnace is a down-draft in the attic, accessible only through a small door in the ceiling of our extra bath (which has a 10' ceiling. Not the most accessible location. They were quick, efficient, and professional.
