Champion Windows and Home Exteriors of Seattle

Okay overall but some miss measured a window and I am still waiting for that window to appear and be installed to my satisfaction.

We are very pleased with them. It was great. I think the price was a little high, but there is a lifetime guarantee. If a window breaks they will replace it for nothing. I have no complaints about them at all.

The sales man was very personable and professional. He was knowledgable about his windows and competitors windows. The price was lower than other estimates I received. I purchased new wood frames along with the windows. The sales man and I were specific in the paper work about the work to be performed. I wanted new wood frames around 2 of the new windows on the exterior of the house. Delivery day was on the long side of there estimate. They did a great job of removing and installing 4 of the new windows with frames, but the 5 window was the wrong size. They did not do anything with the 5 window that day and were really apologetic about it. They cleaned up very well. However, they did not come prepared to replace the 2 outside wood frames. They returned a few weeks later and instlled the 5th window. They returned again to finish some inside details. They had to return a 4th time to replace the frame work outside the home. At this point, the work was all correctly completed down to the detail per the agreement. Final payment made. The sales man was part of the process all the way through and was assuring us that they would get it done. And they did. We have more windows to replace and WILL BE calling Champion again.

The 3 man crew took 3 days to do the removal of the old windows and install the new ones. They were very professional, friendly and cleaned up very well when the install was complete. We had a couple of window sash problems that Champion was very quick to fix and they checked many times to see that we were satisfied. I am very pleased with the windows and Champion's customer service, and would definitely use them again.

They came in on time and seem to be very knowledgeable about their products. They knew their competitors prices as well. The only complaint was they were about a month later than they said they were going to be installing the windows.

Having all the windows in your house replaced is a major construction project, with all the preparation that is required and all the dust and noise that comes along with it. However the crew was young, energetic, professional and it only took them two days to complete the project. They cleaned up as they went along, they were professional and made the process as easy on us as possible. We are very pleased with the quality of the product. The only glitch was at the end of the second day, it was getting dark when they were cleaning the windows, so they left a lot of streaks. I called Champion and they immediately sent out a window washer to clean the exterior of the windows at no cost to us.

They were great. They were honest, punctual, very careful with the rest of my house, and were very friendly.

Called them on Monday the rep Jim was able to come out the next day, called about 10 minutes before appointment time to let me know he was going to be late and would that work for me. That was fine. Arrived in about 21 minutes. I explain what I wanted which I knew may not be do able and he explain why they could not do exactly what I wanted but could give me some other option that were close and the cost.

The installation procedure was fast and very professional. The new windows are great. We're very happy we chose Champion.

They were efficient, their service was fast and they cleaned up after themselves. Their pricing could have been better. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

He came out and spent 3.5 hours there. We did not have a chance to say a word while he was there about what type of windows we wanted. They had a coupon for $200 off (good thru May 31st) plus $100 for Angie's List Members for a total of $300 off per window. To date, he hasn't returned a call to me. All he told us is what he would do, he didn't ask us what we wanted. We chose not to go to him.

They did a pretty good job. Their service was good. They were friendly. They gave me a free glass cleaner. They actually give a can of free glass cleaner every month, but the only problem is that I would have to go and pick it up. It’s a little far for me to drive for a can of glass cleaner. I would use them again in the future.

Although we did not select Champion, the estimating and pricing experience was fantastic. We got a same day appointment and Mr. Paris was right on time. He responded to all my concerns (type of glass, etc) and answered all of my questions. We will keep this company in mind for our future needs.

The sales call was on November 10th. We were hoping to be able to claim a tax credit, but the salesman said that they couldn't guarantee that the windows would be installed before the end of the year. As it turned out, we missed it by less than two weeks. The salesman very clearly outlined in his estimate all the itemized charges and potential charges (lead contamination mitigation), so there were no surprises. When the windows did arrive, they were installed in a most expedient and professional manner. We were surprised how quickly it was done.

Had all windows in house replaced with Champion Windows over two years (2005 and 2006). In 2010 while cleaning windows noticed defects. Contacted Champion Windows and they came and evaluated and determined that replacing of the windows was warranted at no charge.

Everything went just fine. I really liked how the initial man who came to give me the bid was very low pressure and was easy to work with. Hopefully before December 2011 we will get some more windows put in.

The salesperson (Andy) was superb--very personable, professional, and knowledgable. They did all the work when they said they would. The windows look and work great.

I made it very clear in the beginning that I did not want subcontractors working on my house. I was assured at the time of the sale that this would not happen. When the workers showed up, I found out they were subcontractors. I contacted the company and stated my extreme displeasure with the situation. I was very upset. I feel it took longer than it should have, however we were eventualy able to reach a satisfactory agreement. The window installation proceeded and I was satisfied with the results. Because the company recognized the issue I had and did eventually fix it, I would recommend this company. Installation went very well from that point forward.

I did not use them, but they seemed great. I have people who have used them who have liked them. Their quote was less than that of the company I went with. They were very responsive. They were great about giving back to us and they were eager to work with us and give us other information we wanted. I didn't end up using them because I had signed with another company and they wouldn't let me out. I wanted to go with Champion Windows instead but didn't.

We haven?t yet made a decision to use their services. They were great and the estimate was fine. They were helpful and clear. If need be, then I might call them back.

They were not pushy. The were in and out. They gave good customer service.

They were very professional. The salesman who came was very informative and wasn?t too pushy about pushing a particular product or another. It seemed really easy to talk to him and he seemed to be listening to specifically what we wanted to have done. It wasn?t all the windows in the house and we focused on the windows in the bedrooms because many of them were very hard to operate or we were not able to operate them at all. We wanted be sure that we had good ventilation, but also security in those rooms. We were not here when they did the installation and for the most part they did pretty well. They did have to come back and do some fixes in terms of getting a few of them to sit just right, that wasn?t really a big deal. The owner called us later too, to make sure we were happy with the job.

They spotted the holes and changed them with no extra charge. We plan to use them again in the future.

We were pleased with the overall job, from initial sales call by Andy to updates from his manager to final installation. They measured and remeasured to get the right fit, discussed the pros and cons of the various styles of windows, and satisfied our desires for a great window. They've been very responsive, personable, and fair throughout. We visited their showroom for further testing before we made our decision, just as we visited with 3 other competitors and researched on our own. We think Champion built and installed a great product, and we're happy with the windows performance--and the tax credits they earned!

They did an excellent job with the installation. The salesman was extremely good. Their service all the way around was very good.
