I had a wonderful experience with MACO Construction. Maor cleaned our stainless steel liner and fireplace. Looking at his work, anyone can tell that he has many years of experience and knowledge about chimneys and fireplaces. These guys are certified and trained to perform the correct work on chimneys and fireplaces. I recently had a very bad experience with a handyman who came to clean my chimney before MACO. I had to ask him to leave because of his unprofessionalism. From now on Iâ m only going to us MACO for my annual cleaning.

Their promptness, professionalism was very good. Besides cleaning the chimney, they also did repairs to the chimney brick, sealing cracks in the fireplace, and safety hazards on the roof. So it was more costly than we anticipated. It took 4 hours.

This company is amazing. Their communication is spot on and the work was quick and efficient. I am so excited to use my fireplace! The damper they put on is awesome.

The technician, Mike R. was the best I have ever used. Cleared a severe block in a difficult to access duct and another block that he discovered inside the dryer. Excellent knowledge and workmanship! Dryer works perfectly now.

Tomi did a great job, very neat, cleaned up everything, swept the floor, showed us what he did. Really appreciated all the time he took to explain what he was doing and why. Job well done!

Thought we just needed to have the chimney flue swept, but a thorough look from the rooftop, captured in photos, showed a dangerous creosote buildup, a missing screen and cracked mortar cap. (I will add that our steep, wood shingle roof presents its own challenges.) They gave us an assessment of needed repairs and were equipped to do all the work that same day. They showed us pictures of work they had done up on the roof, after it was completed. Although the total price was more than we had planned, we were glad to have the woodstove back in good, safe working order. They did give us a Senior Discount and a Five Yr Warranty on their work. The nice young men who did the work were professional and competent. Only complaint--they showed up much later than their scheduled arrival time. They could do better at contacting customer when they are delayed.

I will use this pro again.

Simon and his crew were very professional and informative. As they inspected the areas involved, they took pictures and showed me what they were talking about and explained what was necessary to make everything safe. They were very neat and clean while they worked and the job was done in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the results and they guarantee their work.

These guy's were polite and did a very thorough job, They were considerate of leaving any kind of mess , and made sure they cleaned up after themselves. They showed before and after pics so you know you got your money's worth I was happy with the work they did.

So-called chimney inspection resulted in over-priced for the work performed. My mother felt somewhat deceived by simple free repairs while being overcharged. Would not recommend. I have used other professionals through HomeAdvisor with great results but not with this one.
