Description of Work: My car wouldn't turn over but the battery had a full charge. I told them I wanted it hooked up to the computer to find out what was wrong. They said they did that and that I needed a new ignition. The cost-$500.00. The car had the same problem after fixing it. Sometimes it would start & sometimes it wouldn't. | |I took it back & they did more work. When I brought it in I said I had a coupon for $50 off. When I picked it up the mechanic told me how much & I paid him. Then I remembered the coupon. He asked the owner and her said I couldn't have the $50 discount. He said they couldn't cancel the amount & do the paperwork over to give me the discount because their computer wouldn't let them do that. I told him I had mentioned it when I brought it in but he wouldn't give me my discount. He finally gave me a card for a free oil change worth $35. | |When I went to leave my radio buttons wouldn't work. They were all sticky. I told the owner & he swore they never touched the radio. I said that it worked when I brought the car in. He again swore they NEVER touched it. Then another worker came in & said he always takes the radios out when they close & puts them under the seat so they don't get stolen. The owner said he would clean it when I brought it back (still not fixed). | |I looked up the problem on the internet and discovered what was wrong and how to fix it whenever it happened. It was a problem with the computer like I had thought all along. I printed out what was wrong & told the mechanic. When I came back to get my car he repeated to me what I had told him like I'd never told him but did nothing to fix it. Pontiac recently had a recall on the car and fixed the problem. | |This time when I went to leave my cruise control was broken and hanging down from the steering wheel. I went right back in and told him they had broken my cruise control. Again, the owner denied they had touched it but I explained that I had used it when I brought the car in and it worked then & wasn't broken loose and hanging from the steering wheel. The owner then said he would get one from the wrecking yard and replace it but acted like I made the whole thing up. I never found out how it got broken and never went back. | |They worked on the car 4 or 5 times. The total I spent was about $1200 or so. They should have given most of it back. They never fixed the car & never hooked it up to their computer.

Description of Work: I contacted Graham Auto because about 14 months ago I paid them to replace head gasket, water pump, and the heads were sent to shop. In December we had trouble with the car, it lost all water and overheated and there was sludge in radiator overflow - same symptoms as when they diagnosed the blown head gasket a little over a year ago. I asked what the warranty was on the original work and he said I don't know, just bring it in and we'll look at it. He also said it didn't sound like the head gasket.

Description of Work: The experience at Graham Auto Repair was a very positive one. I will go back in the future and make them my go-to shop.

Description of Work: I took in my 1993 Buick regal because the battery would not hold a charge and also the car has recently started to die when I drove at speeds below 15 mph (like in parking lots, etc.). I told them I wanted an used car inspection, because I wanted to know if the car was worth putting any money into or if I should just junk it. after evaluating the car they told me there were a number of repairs needed to safely drive the car down the road, and they found coolant in the oil and the oil was black. They convinced me to do an oil change, and to repair rt lwr balljoint, left inner tie rod end, alignment, and replace throttle positioning sensor, flush the coolant and replace all four tires (tires were worn). Plus I had to pay for the diagnostics ($100).
