Description of Work: When I ordered this service, I left my phone number as directed with the explicit instructions to leave a message if we didn't answer. I gave dates and times. They never called. I wanted to cancel the service as I found another service, but was notified that I could not get a refund. |I am not a happy camper!

Description of Work: The guy showed up on time, and was completely professional. He knew his business, and what's better, knew the trees well enough to explain various features to me, the slack-jawed homeowner. He cleared branches around a power line, and then cleared the space between two big conifers in the back yard. It looks better than I had hoped, and cost less than I had planned. Will definitely use again when the time comes!

Description of Work: Zeb arrived exactly at the scheduled time. He accessed a problem with my Asian Pair trees, and gave me very insightful information. Separately he provided me with a written report. He was very knowledgeable and professional, yet friendly ad personable. He also gave me some information and tips on other trees that were not covered by the agreement. This was a good experience all around. Description of Work: About one week after I purchased the tree cutting offer I received an agreement to sign, which was required before they would schedule an appointment. I have not heard from the company since. I have called and left messages, two or three times. No reply.

Description of Work: The service provided was trimming of Cherry Blossom tree, trimming of a young peach tree and removal of one young peach tree. Nick was very punctual and provided excellent service and explained what he was doing. He also explained how to take care of the peach tree for it to be productive.

Description of Work: We have used them twice - once for an assessment of our property and report, and once to prune a tree that was encroaching on the neighbor's property. Both times the company was responsive and professional, and I will gladly use them again and recommend them.

Description of Work: Overall, this is a very good company for what they do. By that I mean that you need to know before signing up that the work they do is according to arborist standards (typically no more than 15% of growth removed) which is a good thing if that's what you want. But if you are looking to have trees topped, perhaps view clearing, or trimming that does not conform to those standards, they will not do the work and this is not the right tree company for you. I also found their prices to be high as a base, so even with Angie's coupons it is still pretty pricey. Also know that you will pay tax on the entire job from their base price minus the coupons (Angie's coupons do not include the tax). |Other than that, the staff was very friendly, polite and also punctual; reminders, email and phone calls were handled professionally and in a timely manner. Crew was friendly and punctual, concerned about how the job was progressing. However, when an issue came up after the job was completed and paid for, a promised "on site" follow-up never materialized (possibly fell through the cracks) and the reason for a "B" for responsiveness.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $99 ea x2. Prior to doing this, I had another company I found in a mailer advertisement come out to quote. He said the job would be roughly $250 but most companies have a minimum of $400 or more. After purchasing the Big Deal, Tree Resource was very responsive. The initial assessment occurred and decided to not include a neighbor tree because of the price. A different individual came out and removed a plum tree of about 12" diameter from a tight space in a backyard. He mentioned that the quote was a bit high and other work could be done. Unfortunately, I hadn't planned for that so wasn't able to take advantage. I appreciated the honesty and overall I still got a good deal. They did a great job cleaning up and following some instructions I had to keep certain sections of the tree. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again except that I have very few trees.

Description of Work: We need to have some work done with trees in back yard. We had a cherry tree that is probably 50 feet high and had not been trimmed in 20 years. It needed a lot of work. Plus, it needed some support cables. The estimate was accurate, and the work was delivered on the day scheduled, even though it was pouring rain. They were tidy, the yard was clean without any branches of scruff left. We were extremely pleased.

Description of Work: This was the 2nd time I've used Tree Resource. They have very knowledgeable tree experts who come out to provide advice and estimates on work to be done. I have only two concerns: I was not present for their work and this 2nd time I would have liked to provide some input about specific branches to remove (they tended to be more conservative than I would have preferred). Secondly, they said they would provide some "before" photos of trees I had questions about but I never received them. But I also did not pursue the photos beyond one phone call. I would use them again: I feel they provide expertise and are honest in their work and what they charge.

Description of Work: I had a sweet gum tree drop its top 15 feet in my neighbor's yard about 2 days before Tree Resource offered a Big Deal. They came promptly, discussed options for that tree (stabilization vs. removal), evaluated the rest of our trees, and provided an estimate quickly. It took some time for them actually schedule the work--not excessive, just not as quick as I might have liked. On the day, they arrived, did the agreed on work, cleaned up, and gave me information on when to next service my trees to avoid further property damage. Very professional, very efficient, and very knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Advertised service ($75) was for 15 minute inspection of a few trees. Upgrade was for a complete evaluation (1 hr) of property and a printed report. Received knowledgable onsite evaluation but haven't received written report with useful links and suggestions.
