We have a large clump of cedar trees in our backyard and I wanted to create a hide-away under the branches. I also explained that I would like to have all of our trees looked at and possibly pruned if need be. I received an estimate and the time it may take. Two days later, I had what I had wanted. A nice escape in the backyard under the branches and many healthy shrubs, trees and bushes. Zeb also educated me on the names of these plants and let me know what kind of complementing plants or shrubs might work in the future if I wanted to add any. Overall the experience was great.

Zeb is highly professional and comes with all the supplies. He uses a laser pointer to show you exactly where he proposes to cut. He comes with a chipper, and he does a beautiful job cleaning up. Estimates are fair and accurrate.

One thing we were disappointed in is we were expecting a formal written report and they refused to give that to us without an additional payment. They also charged us for the time it took them to leave their place to get to our house, so it ended up being a very expensive consult. I think they were very knowledgeable but I don’t think they were very upfront with their fees.

It was a fair experience. He came out and did the consult for the tree, although I think the price was a bit high for what he did. I also mentioned to him I was planning to have some landscaping done. He expressed his interest in doing the landscaping for me and I asked him to give me a bid but I never heard back from him with a bid. I called and emailed him a couple times and we exchanged a couple emails, but in mid-discussion, he just quit responding altogether. I also told him I was planning to put down wood chips in my backyard, and he said he could help with that, but again, he never followed up. UPDATE: Zeb did contact me once he saw my review on Angie's List. He offered to come out and improve my impression of his services in any way possible. However, at that point, there was nothing else I needed done that falls within his area of expertise, since another company -- also reviewed on Angie's List -- had already completed the rest of the work. I did upgrade his overall grade from D to C based on the fact that he was at least punctual for the initial tree consult.

The work turned out very well. The work was more than excellent. I was very impressed because he was able to pull the tree up and save it, without trying to say we had to get rid of the tree and buy a new one. They provide same day service. The system he was used a very neat pulley system.

They have been very responsive, and I find that to be good. However, sometimes their communication isn’t the best. When I was waiting on the tree planting, I had to call them to find out they were waiting on the trees to arrive. They have done nice work, and they planted quality trees. Also, they are willing to explain things thoroughly. I’ve confident with their skill set. I will definitely hire them for trimming this upcoming fall.

I think they were great! They cleaned up well, and showed me how to maintain the health of my trees.

They were careful in not overcutting and paying attention to the long term health of the tree. However, I do think the service was a little expensive.

Zeb is very, very knowledgeable. He truly has a passion for trees, and I would certainly hire him in the future.

They charged $90 for looking at the tree. They were fine. They did what they were supposed to and they were friendly. They couldn?t do anything about the tree as something was wrong with the tree. I will use them again in the future.

I called Zeb Haney to ask him to evaluate a cedar tree that is near the house. I also asked for several yards of chips that I could use for mulch. Additionally, I asked if he would prune a very large camellia that is right in front of our front porch. I have used his services once before and both times I have been very pleased with his professional approach. He is a certified arborist, which means he takes great care to preserve the health of the tree as well as prune it in a way that fits the circumstances of it's location. Very professional service. He returns calls promptly and arrives for appointments on time. I highly recommend this company.
