Tree Resource

The whole job went smoothly from the start (estimate) to the removal of the tree. We will be calling them again for more service!

This was a good experience. The entire transaction was completed over email and the phone from my perspective and they were ver responsive and they did quality work.

They were extremely knowledgeable. They were very concerned about the well-being of the trees. They were expensive and the highest priced people. I bought two of the fig beetles and paid more. It was a very tough tree to prune. It was something that had to be done because it was encroaching on the view. I had to trim it to sell the house. They did it, so that there was no harm to the tree and it looked like it had not been cut at all. It looked completely natural. I hesitated because of the price. We had a couple of pruning folks who really butchered the trees. I really relied on Angie’s list for the recommendation and quality. We talked to them quite a bit and decided to go with them even when they were a little more expensive. They were a little slower than what I would have liked but it was absolutely time to time pruning season and we were calling at the last minute, they shot us in. It took me about 4 telephone calls to get them there. I could not afford to use them all that often but for what I needed they were perfect.

I bought the $400 work of work for $200 deal, which included a free consultation session. The estimator came out and discussed a couple of trees I wanted professionally pruned, to improve shape and sun penetration, as well as privacy on one side of the property. The folks at Tree Resource were super professional and knowledgeable, and provided a detailed report via email from the Consultation, as well as the plan for next steps we had discussed. They then provided the work estimate (which was higher than I anticipated or hoped, but I guess you pay more for good work). They arrived as scheduled, and their crew of 3 did great work carefully cutting off limbs and branches, protecting the under-story, and cleaning up after their work.

First contact is the most important thing a company controls, this company has no commitment to putting best foot forward and lost my business before I got off the phone.

Tree resource took down a flowering Cherry that had overgrown it's space. They showed up on time and did the job quickly and professionally.

Thru Angies List deal, Stuart came out and provided an estimate for various tree trimming, he explained what might be the best way to approach it, then came back and did the trimming the next day. I was a bit surprised at the cost of another trimming I was interested in but declined b/c it was a bit more expensive than I expected. Overall, it went well.

They were courteous and particularly the office staff was helpful. However i felt a little lost in the shuffle. Having to remind them of my job. The work was excellent.

The boys were done in less than an hour and took all the cuttings with them, swept, and were polite.

Overall it went very well. They came out to do an estimate and answered all my questions regarding the tree (it has lichen on it, etc.).On the scheduled day, they arrived on time and finished when they said they would. They cleaned everything up very well. I was very pleased and I would use them again.

The first time he came out he didn’t think he could do the job well, so he was unable to do it. He was unable to get permission from a neighbor to get the job done. He is an arborist and takes his work seriously. He came out and ended up cutting a tree down on another property instead. He worked with me to make sure it worked for me.

I have no hesitation in giving Tree Resource my highest endorsement. They were punctual in both their assesment/ estimate visit, and in performing the job itself. They were very throrough in their explanations, very patient in listening to an amateur explain expected outcomes, and they went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted. They even went so far as to make sure that their structural trimming left more light for our tomato plant. They cleaned up very carefully afterward -- they left not a trace they had even been in our yard, their cleanup was that thorough. They even explained afterward some easy maintenance trimming that I could do over the next five years to encourage the kind of healthy growth that the trees would need. They are friendly, competent, helpful, and professional. You can bet that we will use them again!

I wasn`t impressed. One of my trees he had no idea what it was. I have a large maple I want to keep healthy . He suggested trimming dead wood . Dead wood occurs all the time , it`s an old tree. Mother nature helps it shed with wind. Had the dead limbs cut one year and found out that it still dropped limbs anyway.

Guys did a great job. Even came back to touch up a tree that I wasn't happy with at no charge. Highly recommend!

They were here when they were suppose to be. They were careful with the trees. They are a fine company. I plan on having them back.

I bought 2 coupons through AL for $99 for $200 worth of work; plus had an additional $800 worth of work done. Called and described what I wanted done, scheduled someone to come out and provide an estimate. They came as scheduled and provided a detailed written estimate via email since I was unable to be home for the appt. I called and discussed the estimate and they helped me prioritize the work. We scheduled the work to be done (again, without having to take time off work to do so, which I REALLY appreciated), came home and it was all done as agreed and there wasn't a single bit of tree trimming mess on the ground - the only evidence that they had been there was that the trees all looked so much better and branches were no longer resting on mine and my neighbor's roofs! Also, the trees they pruned and trimmed didn't look butchered at all; I really feel they did the minimal cutting that was necessary for the health and life of the trees, with minimal trauma to the trees, which is exactly what I wanted. What they did: Climbed a large Douglas Fir that had broken off and split a little at the top during winter storns and made a clean cut to protect the health of the tree. Trimmed and pruned a very tall plum tree that had branches touching my roof and my neighbor's roof. Pruned and trimmed an old sprawling apple tree that was being taken over by Ivy and moss, that had weak spindly branches that couldn't support the weight of the apples each year; they cleared away all the Ivy growing up from the ground and pruned the tree. I can't wait to see and taste the apple yield this year! There is more work to be done (I split up the work to ease the impact to my budget) and I will definitely call them back to do the rest of it.

The Tree Resource is a great company to do business with and I will definitely use them again. They have great custormer service and followed up on how I likde the work they performed. Very professional and definitely an "A Plus" company. end o

The service went well. We called for an appointment for the tree inspection and the aborist was out in just a few days to take a look. She was very informative and prepared a written report. Then we scheduled the appointment for the service to come out and perform the work the aborist had suggested. It went very well also. The worker explained in detail what he was doing. It took about an hour and a half. Everyone was very professional. Now we can get some sleep during a wind storm or heavy snow and not worry that the tree might come down on the house.

First of all, a consultation was said to have been free with the service. This consultation was an estimate and did not offer knowledge that I felt an arborist should have. Secondly, the description of service was advertised as more than the actual service after the purchase of the deal and consultation. This deal would have provided for only one tree. Thirdly, the waiver that they asked for was not legible in font or narrative. It would be definitely be best to shop around before purchasing from this company. I asked for a refund after learning more details.

The evaluation was very thorough and professional. The arborist communicated well and was right on time. She discussed her findings in detail and provided a written report/site map within a few days of her visit. Although problems were identified, the estimate she provided to remedy the situation was quite high and we elected to seek additional estimates before having the work done.

I had no complaints with Tree Resource. They called, they came out, and they did everything on time. It wasn't an exceptional job; it was just okay. I would not use them again, because I found someone who was better.

They cut down two trees located on a slope on the side of my yard. They had tried to cut down the mountain ash earlier in the summer but there was a wasp/hornet nest in it that we were unable to locate and the worker was stung several times. They returned after the winter freeze and were able to cut it down without any wasp/hornet activity. Due to thick ivy growth up the trunk of the trees, they were unable to cut the stumps down to the ground level due to danger and potential damage to their equipment. However, after I cut away and removed much of the growth, they returned to cut the stumps down. They removed all of the tree trunk and branches and left the area very clean.

The communications were quite well and everything was set up in a timely basis. I hired him to trim back our trees and there was some extra work involved where I had to spend some more money. The trees are a little high with branches hanging over the roof on one of the condominum units so a little extra work had to be done. Despite paying extra, the work was done so well that I am quite happy with the end results. They were very professional about it and finished the job and cleaned up within a timely manner.

They were professional and did a nice job. They even came back a second time when I was concerned about one tree that wasn't done. Very helpful
