Went great. The tree looks much better!

The arborist who first visited inspected a leaning giant sequoia with a poorly distributed top section due to prior storage damage, and did some aesthetic pruning a rosebud tree(similar to a dogwood). Provided a very nice written report and work recommendation. Very professional and courteous. Nice work, and reasonable perhaps generous price. I highly recommend them and will retain them next time my trees need attending.

Initial evaluation was provided by a knowledgeable tree expert. He took pictures and made an assessment of the health of the three trees. Based on this assessment, he provided a recommendation on how to begin trimming and shaping the trees, while maintaining the trees overall health. The tree trimmers were scheduled at another time to do the work. They did a nice job in trimming the trees. They do not use a cherry picker or chain saws to access the trees. My locust trees are over two stories high. They climbed and sawed the limbs. Wished I could have watched the whole process.

Tree Resource trimmed a 'young' Norway spruce so that its branches were not overhanging a garage roof and fence and part of a garden. They also took out a dead branch or two from higher up on this tree. This means that we can continue to enjoy the privacy, habitat, and greenery that the Norway spruce provides without cutting it down for being too large or dangerous (which was recommended by someone else). They cut down another dead tree, and wood-chipped all of the branches and tree. Everything was cleaned and tidied up afterwards. I could not be more pleased!

The cost is beyond our budget and the fellow who came out to look and estimate job was very superior to us mere mortals. My husband felt he was quite condescending in his approach and while we would have overlooked that as a stand-alone issue, once the cost was realized we decided to look elsewhere for this service.

Arborists were very professional. They made two trips. First to evaluate the job, and second to do the actual work. e are very satisfied with what they have done, and would certainly use them again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fantastic. I had purchased two big deals, and the work that I wanted was a little more expensive than the big deals, but they gave me an estimate for it ahead of time. They told me that the work I needed done would cost more than the two big deals that I had purchased. They came and did the work, and it was adequate and I was perfectly happy, because it was well performed work, it was reasonably priced, and it was even better priced with the application of the two big deals. They were fantastic. Their back office staff was very good about scheduling questions, and invoicing questions. I had to reschedule, and they were very good about that. They first came to give me a bid, and they were very professional and then they came to do the work, and they were very professional as well. I had a few questions and they answered them, I modified my plans when they were here, and they were good about it.

They ended up running the deal again, so I bought another coupon and I combined them. They were excellent. The two people that came out really knew what they were doing and were really delightful to work with. I had no complaints and I would definitely use them again.

My experience with Tree Resources was mostly positive. They did an outstanding job trimming our Scotch Pine, keeping in mind the aesthetic and practical considerations. They are arborists, and very knowledgeable about trees. Their advice is sound, but be prepared that they will be opinionated about saving trees, especially if they are rare, and even if they're unattractive. While they were not terribly responsive in the beginning phase of discussions, they were very punctual once we had set a date.

Communication was a bit delayed;though however the service provider was honest about their time line. Though purchased at the end of October the provider could not meet my schedule to have the work to completed by 12/6. Therefore, provider recommended a refund.

The arborist arrived on time, did a very good job pruning our tree and cleaned up well when he was done. My only issue was that we had the pruning done because, on an earlier visit, he had said the tree appeared stressed but not diseased. But after the pruning, he said that "on closer inspection, there MIGHT be some disease." I obviously hope it's not diseased so the pruning is justified.

My experience with them was very good. We like everything about them. He’s very knowledgeable and they explained everything to us. He’s very competent and very prompt. He said that the trees were healthy, they just needed to be pruned back a little bit.

The young men that worked on the tree did a great job. They were professional in their approach and removed many limbs . They checked with me several times to make certain that I was happy with the amount that was being removed. I appreciated their desire to involve the homeowner in the process. They also spent extra time cleaning up the surrounding area . We asked the company for a proposal to trim many other trees on the property. We felt that their prices were high in comparison to other companies that we have used. However, I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others. They do not have sophisticated equipment and climb into the trees to remove the limbs. Perhaps this is the reason for the higher cost of their services.

The recent windstorm that hit Seattle earlier this month blew over part of a Quivering Aspen in my backyard. Amazingly one of the five trunks fell between my house and my neighbor's and the remaining 4 were threatening to topple over as well. My neighbors and I took down another trunk teetering between our homes but tied down the remaining three. I was very anxious to get the remaining three trunks removed before they did any damage. I knew the tree service firms would be very busy and therefore was quite surprised when Greg called me back right away on a Sunday. He even came out to my house later that day and provided a fair bid for the removal of the tree and hauling away all of its debris. Greg said that he would be back on Tuesday and he was with an amazing crew of guys who cut down the remaining three trunks without doing any damage to any of the surroundings. The Aspen was very close to my neighbor's house and adjacent to my rose garden. Amazingly, Greg and his crew managed to get the three remaining trunks removed without disturbing anything nearby. All of the tree was removed quickly and the leaves also picked up! I was very impressed with Greg's professionalism and the expertise of his crew. I would definitely do business with him again!

They did a 'structure cutting' of my maple tree, did a crowning of one of my evergreen trees and did a pruning of 4 cherry trees. I normally have the guy that cuts my grass prune the trees but this year I wanted to get the maple tree pruned and that was a big job. Because I actually hired a professional I was surprised at the cost. It will probably be a while before I can afford this again. |However they did a great job and I know my trees are probably healthier because of it.

They came when scheduled, communicated clearly via email and phone, and did the work as planned with a perfect cleanup. When the finished slightly ahead of the scheduled time they called me at work and offered to do additional work. Highly recommended.

They pruned my shrubbery, making it at least a foot shorter than it was, without making it look pruned. It looks totally natural. And they trimmed my large cedar tree away from the house without making it look butchered. They consulted me at every turn, making sure that they understood what I wanted. I was and am delighted with their work. They also did a very nice job of cleaning up after themselves.

The billed me but they have never called to set up an apointment.

I was very impressed with arborist who initially came out and then did the work as well. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy, I will definitely use them again.

They called me the day after I purchased the deal to set up the appointment. They worked with my schedule with setting up the appointment. I liked them a lot and thought they did a good job. They had an arborist come to see what needed to have done. I am currently waiting on the estimate for the work.

Communicated with owners before estimate and after estimate. Spoke with owners prior to work on the day and throughout to make decisions. Absolutely professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Their advice on possible planting of trees for area and their assessment of future needs highly valued. Will definitely use them in the future. Price seems high until consider the need for protection of both business and home owners, quality of work, and professional knowledge of the crew. Excellent.

The tree service itself was great, but the communication with the office staff was not that great. For the initial consultation we had set an appointment, it was early in the day, and my husband had taken a day off from work. They were over an hour and a half late for the consultation and we were told that the office staff was supposed to call us to say that they were running behind but we never got a call from the office staff. The day we had scheduled for the actual tree service, the crew came out and set up but they then were called on another tree emergency; we had just had a wind storm and a tree had fallen through somebody’s house. That was great, if there was a tree in my house, I would love for somebody to come running too. Once again we were told that the office will call us that same day to re-schedule but we never heard anything back so we had to initiate an e-mail communication to get it re-schedule. They seemed pretty responsive to e-mail which is great if we are constantly on e-mail all the time. The trimming, clean-up and professionalism of the crew when they were out here was fantastic. We bought the Big Deal and they charged us extra several big trees that we had.

They were great! I am very happy with their services.

They pruned our 2 plumb trees and an overhanging fig tree. That didn't consume the whole $400 value of the service, so they walked around the yard with us and identified all the trees, did minor pruning on two young maples in our front yard, answered a ton of questions my wife and I had, and overall were very knowledgable, professional, and courteous. I will absolutely use them again and I cannot recommend them enough.

This is the 2nd time I've had Tree Resource out to work on my trees. I am grateful for the Angies' Deal ($200 for $400 worth of credit) --it helped cover the important work I needed. The Tree Resource folks are very professional, quite knowledgeable, and they love trees! When discussing options for raising the canopy of my large red cedar in the backyard, they made sure I was aware of the privacy the low branches provide and suggested ways to try to keep some of that and yet clear enough space so my son can play catch with a friend in the backyard without getting interference with the branches. And it seems that the folks that come out to do the work really enjoy climbing the tree. For the work on my trees, they cut with hand tools (no loud chainsaw action; and the clean-up and removal was fantastic.
