We called G&S to get a quote on getting the house insulated and ductless installed.  Roger, the owner of G&S, personally came out to inspect and give us a quote.  We have very busy schedules and he worked around our schedules, coming out after normal hours, in order to help us.  He discovered that the oil furnace had been improperly installed and recommended it be removed.  He also found that the attic wasn't properly ventilated.  It is not often that the owner of a business shows up on site and gets their hands dirty crawling in attics and crawl spaces but Roger was very thorough in looking for everything that need done in order for the job to be done properly.  He even worked with Snohomish County PUD in order to get us a substantial rebate on the work done.
All of their crews were not only punctual and very thorough with their work, they also worked on weekends and after hours to work around our schedules.  They removed all the old duct work that went to the old oil furnace and sealed up all of the vent holes.  They insulated all of the floors in both the basement and the crawlspace and even cleaned up our crawlspaces while they were under there.  The upper attic was very tight and barely accessible but they managed to get it all insulated, including the two side attics.  They also cut in and installed attic vents in order to have the attics properly ventilated, something we would have never known needed done.  They blew in insulation in all the exterior walls, not only doing this on multiple levels to insure full insulation, but also made sure it was done beneath the siding and that all the siding was put back like it had never been removed.  They installed the Mitsubishi ductless heating and air system that consisted of the outdoor unit and a head unit on each floor.   
All of this work was done quickly, neatly  and efficiently.  They made sure to cover things so nothing got dirty and even vacuumed the floors when they were done with the insulating work.  The house is much quieter and comfortable now and we're using less energy.  Roger and his crews were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional and I would (and have) recomend them to anyone I know.

Several years ago, I had an issue with my furnace and called G&S. The technician listened to my problem and
gave me instructions, (over the phone) as to how to fix it. Another time, my furnace stopped working, and a technician was
there that day to fix it. The issue was lots of dust. He cleaned the furnace and recommended that I sign up for the
yearly service contract. This has been an inexpensive way to maintain my 14 year old furnace. G&S is an excellent
company.

We were completely without heat and G&S could have had our new furnace installed three days after getting the estimate.  But we chose a financing option that they offered so we had to wait an additional three days per Washington State law to give us the option to change our minds.  G&S does a follow up 10 days after install to make sure everything is going well.  We had a question about the gas line piping and after they took a look, decided that there was a better way to route  the line.  A service technician was back in 12 days to make the fix.  There was also a fan rattle that was adjusted as well.  A part needed replacement after the gas line was changed which they did not have in stock.  An installer came out that same day and put in a temporary switch so that we could continue to have heat.  He was back in 3 days to put the new part in.  They do whatever they can to make it right and to see that you are happy.

They do WONDERFUL work! They've repaired my system in the past and can always be depended on to be prompt and professional and do great work. I can't imagine using anyone else!

They specialize in Lennox heaters. It is a wonderful heating unit. I received excellent customer service across the board. A service rep first came out to look at the repair and explained replacing the unit would be better. It was a wonderful service and I would recommend them to anyone. They are a top notch company. Their prices are certainly competitive and fair for the quality. They even returned to ensure everything was installed correctly. They went above and beyond to help us understand our system. They explained how to seal up the area so there was no carbon monoxide coming into the home. We sealed it up and they configured some things we could not. I have a lot more peace because I know the carbon monoxide coming into my home.  They have done a wonderful job. The system is so quiet and you can definitely tell it will clean the air in the home.

Serviceman was on time, Furnace maintenence was done efficiently. Would recommend highly.

In a very cold couple of days in January our heat pump was not reverting to the standby electrical mode.  We found out that 2 sequencers were not operating properly.  G & S Heating came out very promptly and replaced the sequencers and we were warm and toasty again.  Thanks!

Overall, my experience with G&S was over an above excellent.  They were genuinely concerned about
our health and getting us the heat to keep my family warm and comfortable.  We won't go with any other
company in the future, we will use G&S for all our Electrical and Heating needs.

Had them come out to Gold Bar and Marysville for some electrical repair.  Gold Bar had no power in the bathroom and hallway, ended up previous owners mixed up some wiring because of a electrical timer not working correctly.  They fixed the issue in about 20min.  Marysville I had them put in a light in the kitchen and install some in-wall heaters. again service was quick and efficient.  They were professional, good work, and prompt.  I would hire them again in a heart beat!  It's hard finding good service out in Gold Bar, so having these guys around is great!

Called G&S to check electric furnace after it quite working for the third time, the unit was less than six years old and really had not preformed well, decided to have them install a heat pump, the crew was very profesional about the work, I give the entire crew A +++'s  for a job well done, we are very pleased with the results, plus we have had our electric  bill cut more than half, love the warm heat in winter and the air conditioner in summer.
The unit is checked every six months.
I would recommend them high on my happy list.

They suggested a free, in-home consultation to see how to solve the problem. After a full hour of checking the whole house, he suggested free ways to make the system work like it is supposed to. That kind of honest, professional service makes it certain we will use them for any heating concerns in the future.

Fantastic experience.  At first, we thought we wanted an automatic transfer switch, however after assessing our house and needs, G & S walked us through several options.  The one we chose was the most cost effective and convenient, and Roger even found us a way to save a few extra bucks on his end.  The day of the installation, the service man showed up right on time, installed the switch in record time, walked me through how to use the generator, tested it and labeled everything very clearly.  The inspector that came to make sure it was up to code said the company went above and beyond with labeling everything.  We haven't had a power outage yet, but we will be set when we do!
We also use G & S for our Heat Pump and Furnace servicing and are a PPM (pre-paid customer).  We have had only good experiences with this company.  They have come on a holiday weekend to assist with electrical issues and have been a great partner to work with.

We originally had G&S come in to provide a recommendation, plan and estimate to install a generator.  While they were out, they noticed our heat pump was not running.  They sent a heat pump specialist out and he spent some time diagnosing the issue.  He went above and beyond for us, calling the heat pump manufacturer and finding out what was "normal" and what wasn't.  We scheduled the appointment to have him come back and replace part of the heat pump.  All work was done wonderfully, no issues and it's running great now.

Each and every time I have had work done or maintenance done by G & S Heating, they have responded quickly, working around my schedule, which I appreciate.  I think they now know that I only have Friday's open, as I work Sunday through Thursday.  And they are very cooperative.  After the work is done the office always calls me to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction.  That is great customer service.  I recommend G & S Heating to anyone in the Puget Sound area.

G & S technicians are very professional and thorough.  I appreciate that they take the time to explain how to make our heating system work as efficiently as possible.

The techs do a great job, explain what they are doing, leave everything
clean and are overall just nice people.  The one year I decided to forgo
this service, my heat went out in the middle of a severe snowstorm.  A
tech came out first thing the next day, did not charge me extra, and
didn't even lecture me for  not keeping up my preventative service !

We contacted G and S with a unique problem.  Anytime anyone in the neighborhood burned anything our house would fill with smoke.  We wanted that problem solved and felt a new furnace would solve it.  To their credit they said up front they did not think that would necessarily solve the problem.  They offered the cheaper alternative of inspecting the house for ?air leaks? and plugging those leaks as something to try first.  Since our furnace was old and close to replacement we chose to replace it first hoping that would solve the issue - it didn?t.  The air leak inspections comes with a furnace inspection and we learned we had a lot.  So it was on to plugging those leaks which we did.  Smoke gone.  The workmanship overall was very good.  There was no mess and the workers were very respectful of us and our home.  
What do you need to know about G and S:  the most important thing to know about any company is how do they respond to problems.  There were a few issues on this job.  Most of which fell into some communication issues regarding scheduling and us not being quite clear about what was going on.  How did they respond?  the owner came to our home and heard our concerns.  He, then acted on those concerns and there were no further problems.  But he went beyond that and came by daily to check in on us to be sure all was well.  He also discounted our bill.  He has contacted us a couple of times to check in on the ?smoke issue? to see if that has been cleared up.  Would we use G and S again or recommend them?  Yes, without hesitation.

Their technician is extremely professional and dedicated to making sure our system is working at peak performance.  We've had some major issues dealt with in the last year, including replacing the original compressors.  He has even uncovered some issues the original installer had missed or installed incorrectly (one issue which may have led to the early compressor failure).  Jeremy is now the G&S service manager and I have complete confidence in his ability to troubleshoot and fix any issue in our system.  He has also recently taken on regular maintenance of our backup oil boiler system, and is actually here at the moment doing our annual maintenance.
