This was over a several month period during a remodel of my home. There are special challenges to wire a log home, like no hollow walls for wiring to go through. Responsiveness was very good. Punctuality was a B because they were overloaded with work loads and sometimes I had to wait a little bit for them but it was never an issue or a problem.

We just found out why our A/C stopped working once again, as it does every summer. The repair we paid for was never made and we never knew it until we had another plumber come out today (8/18/2017) and show us that the pipe was still solid so no water could drain from the a/c unit. I felt I must put a review here, even after 10 years. I'm quite certain the company would never reimburse me for the charges, not to mention all the extra charges for the A/C guy to clear out the lines every summer for 10 years.

This company was amazing. They were at our house within three hours of calling. They had a portable air unit in our house an hour later. The next day I got a text when the tech was on his way with a pic of him which was very helpful! So Juan and Sal showed up, walked me through the process and were done by 3:30. August in Texas is unbearable and Berkeys understood that! Thanks!!

They worked with me on all steps. Everything explained fully. Told me the access they would need for all work well ahead of time and I was able to schedule the work time so I wouldn't be rushed in moving things. They gave me options, I selected the option that I felt worked best for me and they did it. On time, on cost. Cleaned as they went. Arranged their work sequencing so that we wouldn't spend a night without gas (for hot water and furnace). Nice people at all stages.

Professional and knowledgeable. Identified issue that had likely been increasing electric bill. Paid 215 for inspection and then extra 300 for the filters, new pump, and to replace the fuse. New pump was around 200.00 and 80.00 to change the fuse. Seemed expensive to me but overall happy with the outcome.

The installers arrived next morning and worked diligently all day and by early evening I had a new A/C and Furnace installed and cooling air. They took great care to ensure no damage or dirt was brought in to the house, they cleaned up well and provided instruction on everything that they were doing. While I may have saved a little by using another contractor, I believe that Berkeys provided value for money. I was unavailable for the technician to return on the day after the install, but he arrived the following day to make a further check of the system and install an additional CO2 detector which I required. Berkeys get 5 stars in my book

It was terrible. I have had my home remodeled several times, so I am familiar with all levels of contractors and subcontractors. It is their responsibility to communicate in an understandable method- not to use short hand, nicknames and acronyms. I had no idea what a "home Run" was re: electrical wiring. Despite my frustration about continually having to ask what he was talking about, there were at least two areas of concern with regard to the wiring- adding to the breaker box, and re-wiring the island in my kitchen. The team that had come out said that they would have their sales manager call or email a bid for the suggested changes. It has been 6 weeks - NOTHING. Another complaint is that they moved furniture to check outlets, and then left it that way all over the house.
