We went back and they repaired it with no problems. Whenever we drop something off, the car is always done when they say it will be. They will give you an estimate upfront. They will also call before they do any additional work

They are on the higher end with price, but the quality of the service is well worth it. They have no problem with anyone calling to follow up on the work. If there is still a problem they always encourage you to bring the vehicle back. They don't charge you again to repair the work that has already been done.

Description of Work: As always JB's guys did a great job on my van. It has been leaking small amounts of radiator fluid for years, but I decided it had to be fixed b/c the leak has been getting worse. Additionally the tranny started leaking, it needed an oil change and a new light switch installed. I was surprised to find out that the leak was the manifold gasket and not the radiator at all. I was prepared to have them flush out the old fluid and replace it in the process, but they told me it wasn't necessary and just to leave it alone. They replaced a bushing on the output shaft of the tranny which fixed the oil leak and did everything else I needed. All that for just $1,100 (almost) felt like a bargain.

 + -1 moreI have been using Evergreen for all of my car's maintenance and repairs for 5 years. J.B. and his crew are professional, remember their customers' names, and do the job at a great price. J.B. really believes in building a long term relationship with his customers and it shows. For the work that was most recently done, the team performed regular maintenance work and recommended some future repair work that had to be done with the front and rear engine mounts. Plus they found the source of squeaks that has been annoying me. J.B. distinguished between critical work and non-critical work when he gave me the estimate for the future work, as well as told me the likely consequences. Since I have had a long experience with the shop, I trust what is said.
Description of Work: This time it was regular maintenance with oil change and tire rotation. I also asked the team to look for the source of a squeaking noise.

 + -1 moreMy last repair in January, 2011, involved the transfer case. Everyone thought I was in for a $2,500 bill. He had to tear into the transfer case 2x b/c after he replaced the initial problem (a snap ring broke) he was feeling something else going on, so he tore it open again. On top of that he replaced all the fluids in the front and rear diffs at no additional costs. He worked on it for a week to work out all the issues and again the bill only came to $534. I threw in a case of beer when I went to pick it up!
Description of Work: I found Evergreen over two years ago when I was looking for someone who could figure out what why the 4-wheel drive on my '96 Yukon wouldn't engage. I had taken it to Brookes Biddle Chev in Bothell who charged me $100 to tell me it worked fine and of course it didn't. I also took it to my previous mechanic who also told me it was working fine. Put it on snow or mud and the front wheels did nothing. JB brought in his 4X4 expert who diagnosed the problem as a faulty actuator that wouldn't allow the gears to fully engage. I was braced for a $1,000+ repair bill, so you can imagine my utter shock when he explained the problem and assured me that now it is working and the bill came to a little over $400. Nothing leaves the shop until JB inspects the work and is certain the problem is fixed. I've been loyal to Evergreen ever since. I have sent three of my neighbors up to see him too, and they too use only Evergreen to maintain their cars.
