I had bought a foreclosed home and had no idea when the last time the chimney was cleaned. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Nathan took the time to also do an inspection on my chimney. The insert was giving him trouble so he had to leave and get tools without charging me extra for taking up his time.

Nathan came on 12/7/12 to clean 2 chimney's, but the one associated with the wood burning fireplace that my husband built was not able to be accessed.  He didn't charge me because he wasn't able to clean it, but it took him time to remove the panels around the insert.  He did not charge me, since he wasn't able to clean the chimney.  He laid down tarps and left the area around the fire place clean.
He returned on 1/17/13 to pour a new cement crown for the chimney and inbed a multi flue cap.  He has been easy to access by phone and cordial when answering questions.

2012 When Nathan arrived he spread tarps where needed. Cleaned both flues with no mess. Then installed two stainless chimney caps. The last thing he did was the work on the wood stove. He answered all questions I had during the job and I now feel much more informed. Overall he did a great job. Wood stove is working better than ever. Will call him next year for the cleaning.

He was quick and clean, inspected the tops from the roof, dismantled the wood stove pipe and even showed some of the odd things burned or stuffed up in the flue. I will definitely use him again when the time comes

The service was great and the work was great. The payment was little confusing. I had to call the office to charge my credit card. The work outstanding. They answered all my questions.

Excellent.

He first performed the chimney cleaning, which took approx. 1 hour.

After that, he informed me that he noticed significant cracking in the chimney cap, and that over time it could cause deterioration of the entire chimney structure, due to rain seeping in. (and especially during winter, when the rain could freeze in the cracks, and cause further structural deterioration.)

He recommended replacing the chimney cap, but did not push to do it.  I asked if he did that work, and he said that he could, and that he could schedule it at a later date, or could do it now, and offered to put the price of the chimney cleaning toward the total price of doing both jobs at a better rate.

I decided to have him do the work.  He had to go back to his shop for the additional required tools and materials, and was back on the job within 30-40 minutes.
Another 90 minutes, and he was done with the job.  The concrete had to set for a week within a metal frame, and then he came back the next week and took the frame.

The cap looks great!  And it is clearly visible that it is offering much better weather-protection than the previous cap.

When Nathan arrived, he saw that the shape of the tile into which the damper had to fit was smaller than normal and would not accommodate the damper. The upper part of the flue tile would have to be cut out and replaced with a larger rectangular one (ours was a small oblong circle shape). He was able to located one that day and was back within an hour or so to finish the job. Time will only tell, but from what I can tell, did a fine job. I'm pleased at the quality and the price.

The reason I gave him a lower mark on "Professionalism" is that he is clearly a one-man show and judging from the old mini-truck he uses, appears to have limited resources. This didn't make a difference to me. In fact, I like supporting the "little guy." I just thought I'd mention it. I probably wouldn't us this company as a lead for big jobs.
