"9/16 Sat. AM Initial meeting with consumer Dona D. and her adult son to discuss specific backup generator power needs. Reviewed with consumer and son several options, and Generacs free upgrade limited 10-year warranty. Communicated verbal estimate to the consumer with adult son for a turnkey installation including all fees and taxes which she excepted. 9/18, emailed written contract. Consumer agreed to the terms and beginning date. 9/29 delivered originals and copy for signatures and commenced and completed installation. Consumer had the fixed cost in writing for 12 days as given verbally onsite estimate. No discussion took place on price negotiating until the time of payment at which time I said we already had a non-negotiable signed agreement and completed installation. I am a very detailed oriented contractor, typically spending a great deal of time with consumers and prospective customers. My 40 plus years of being in business brings a vast knowledge of my services and abilities. My 5.0 ratings and reviews speak for itself installing back up power systems using Generac, Kohler and Cummins generators. Integrity and customer satisfaction is my priority."

"Customers insurance provider required inspection of 30+ year old condo electrical sub-panels to ensure integrity and longevity. I removed the panel covers and inspected circuit breaker connections, branch circuit wiring and checked each neutral, ground and circuit hot wire for tightness at each breaker and termination point. Couple of panels had been altered and missing breaker space enclosures which I had onboard my service vehicle and installed at no extra charge. I provided more than what was actually asked for and also spoke with one homeowner about their specific needs and gave recommendations to ensure future integrity of their aging electrical system. Upon completion of my inspection, I wrote a detailed letter of findings and recommendations which was given to the board member for the insurance provider. Prior to doing any work my cost for services was given to the board member and was agreed to. My total time spent which included my round trip travel and my administrative time writing the report totaled approximately five hours. The cost I quoted ahead of providing any service was $350.00 which was approved. Taking in consideration the total time of five hours and my standard labor rate, I made approximately 45% of my standard hourly rate. Having provided services beyond what was asked for and agreed to, I would say the customer got great value for the money and would have expected a 5.0 to reflect that. As a service provider, I always give over 100% so anything less than 5.0 is hard to accept for Quality since I provided more than what was asked for."
