He was very nice and was in and out in no time.
First of all Angie's List offer said they were offering over $400 worth of carpet cleaning for $199. The $400 worth of carpet cleaning is the same as everyone else's $200 worth of carpet cleaning.....so it is really no deal at all and I felt that the ad was misleading (explained that to Dave at the time of service) . No soon than Dave walked into the house....it started....the hard sale........enzymes, heavy traffic area scrubbing etc for an extra $150. I didn't agree to the trumped up extras. Dave was a nice guy and I'm sure he was just doing his job but this DEAL was a joke.
On the scheduled date All Star Carpet Cleaning called about 9:00 and left a message that an employee called in sick, they wouldn't be able to be out at the scheduled time, 10:00, and asked if I would call them as soon as possible to reschedule for a later time that day. I didn't know they called and left the message so about 45 min after the work was to start I decided to call them and found the message. I called back, left a voice message and Dave called back soon after. I told him there was no problem rescheduling and we decided on the next morning at 10:00.
Dave showed up about 5 minutes early. He checked the carpet and we discussed spot cleaning the many areas of cat stains and a very large soiled area where brown sugar was dropped many years ago. He explained how the cleaning solution worked on the stains and told me what it would cost, which I agreed to. Dave got his equipment and immediately started working. It seemed like he was done in no time.
That night I found one side of the cover to the bed, which is about 6 inches from the floor, damp. I pulled it and washed it the next day. Whatever it was, it didn't harm the cover.
Just looking at the carpet I can see how much cleaner it is and no more spots! Dave said if an odor appeared, because of the pet stains and the possibility of what was missed under the carpet, to call him. There was no need to call him back. I am very happy with the outcome of the work.
