Technician was on time and very professional and polite. He was very customer cost conscience and only suggested items that truly needed repair. They also replaced the 4 pulleys that were bad at no additional charge.

The work that was done was great. He exceeded my expectations and needs. He replaced a few parts and oiled the tracks as well. .The door runs very smoothly. The man could not have been more nice, he was terrific.

I called Rainier to ask if they could apply the face value of an expired Angie's List coupon toward the service for which I'd originally bought it. The receptionist warmly replied that they would honor the coupon for the full offer--something no other company I've bought coupons for has done! She then asked if I would like them to come the next day. The fellow who came out was the kind of person any business would be proud to have represent them. In fact, by the time he left, my next-door neighbor and another across the street had both asked Rainier to talk with them about their garage doors!
My 12-year-old garage door springs were showing their age, and while the service guy stressed that they did not need immediate replacement, I asked if he would do that work now (rather than waiting for the springs to fail). I couldn't be happier with Rainier--unless, of course, they offered to clean and organize my garage as well... My dogs, however, are not so happy. Rainier's "silencer package" has already proved itself quiet enough for me to come home and catch them napping!

They came out and initially charged me a trip charge to come and replace my remotes. When then learned that I needed a maintenance check and some other work that required an additional visit, they knocked off the trip charge. There were some issues with getting the remotes programmed at first, but they were able to get it taken care of. When I questioned some of the charges, they were willing to work with me. The manager called me personally and we were able to negoiate the prices. I could tell that they really care about their customers and I was able to save about $149. I will absolutely use them in the future!

The torsion spring on our garage door broke on a Friday afternoon. I searched Angie's List to find a company close by that coupld fix it right away. The first company I called said they were closing for the weekend, but offered to give me recommendations of local companies that might be able to help me that day or over the weekend. They also said that their 10% off Angie's List coupon was only good for maintenance services, not for repair calls.
The first company on their list they gave me was also an A-rated Angie's List company, Rainier Garage Door.
When I called Rainier Garage Door, they said they'd honor the 10% AL coupon regardless of what the service was for, and that they could get someone out before noon the next day.
As promised, the serviceman came out at 10:45 AM the next day and was finished before 11:30 AM.
Price was as quoted, and the work was done quickly and professionally. The only reason I gave them a B for quality was that I wished they'd have checked out the rest of the door and give me an estimate of what it would cost, and the time it would take to give it a tune-up (replace rollers, oil hinges, etc.). However, I didn't ask for that, and I did get what I requested.
I would definitely use them again.

Overall experience was fabulous. Very professional & trustworthy. We never felt we were being over-sold or up-sold; just given the choices, pros/cons and made a decision. Both garage doors work beautifully (and are so quiet now!).

Now before you think that a $429 is too much for a garage door opener consider the fact that Costco sells a 3/4 HP garage door opener for $300. If I'd bought the one from Costco, I would had to hire someone to install the gargage opener for me. I'd rather hire a business that specializes in garage door & openers vs. hopefully finding a handyman who may installed a few.
I really appreciate Becky's help in the showroom. She listened to my concerns about security & she helped me figure the out the very good solution for my house & my car.
Roman was the installer & he was completely finished within the stated timeframe. Then, he took the time to explain all the bells & whistles with the new wall control panel & various remotes so that I didn't have to read the manuals.
The garage door opener was up & running with no effort on my part... Thanks Ranier Garage for making the process so easy breezy.

It was an Angie's List deal. Everything was fine and they didn't try to sell me on anything. I didn't understand why they wouldn't give me a receipt. They said the Angie's List receipt was my receipt.

We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Rainier. One of the springs on our garage door broke over the weekend and we called to schedule an appointment first thing Monday morning. Rainier was able to come out that same day with a scheduled arrival between 12-2. The appointment went very smoothly - from length of the appointment to education on how to keep our garage door running smoothly. We will definitely call Rainier back should we have any more issues.

Went to showroon on Bellevue to look at my options and ordered the new door a few days later. The installed the new door a few weeks later. Did a great job putting in new low overhead tracks and connecting to my existing opener.

This company and experience is a good example of why Angie's List is such a valuable resource. I found them here on Angie's list to purchase a garage door opener and have it installed. Price was competitive (I chose a couple of add-ons which upped my total cost) and I feel like I got a great product for a great price. Becky in the showroom was knowledable and friendly and gave me the information I needed to make a decision. We had a super nice installer - Greg was on time, informative, friendly and efficient. I had this installed to surprise my husband for his birthday and everything went perfectly. Makes me sigh with relief when you trust other people's reviews and find that they're exactly what they're known for - excellent all-around. I highly recommend!

Jason at Rainier Garage Doors has a show room where you can see an actual door and opener and also samples of different door materials from different companies. He explains and answers questions and has price sheets available. Many other companies I called will come out to measure, don't have showrooms, and can't tell you prices for doors until they come out to measure. For instance, one company I called was offering $100 off any Liftmaster opener but when he came and gave me an estimate--the discounted price was almost the same as another company's regular price. I found Jason's prices very competitive. After he came out to measure for the doors, they were installed a week later. The workman who installed them did a great job--he was very polite and worked very hard!
