How Allred Got Started Our company was founded by Dan and Matt who discovered they had complimentary areas of expertise. Matt began as an electrician about a decade ago and besides doing electrical work began working with HVAC as well. Dan had been doing contractor work in Alaska and when they met they realized they were a perfect match to begin a business, hence Allred Heating, and Cooling and Electrical. Between the two of them all of the right bases were covered to offer complete electrical and HVAC systems, both installation and repair. We hold ourselves and our work to the highest standards and that is why we offer a one year parts and labor guarantee. the service went well. I'm impressed with how much time and energy was put towards the service. I was thinking that since it was a "special" price that I would get a quick inspection with little to no work actually performed, but I was wrong. I have their business card, and I will definitely call them if I need work performed on the furnace in the future.

"We signed up with angies list to market it to specifically south king county and pierce county. This is something that we talked and agreed with angies list to do. We did Respond to the email. We prefer customers to call us to set up the appointment as sometimes emails can slip throught the cracks. They told us that we can tell people that buy it out of the area that they can call Angies List to get a refund or that they would find another company to honor the price. It is very hard to honor the price if it is out of our immediate area. I even shared concerns to our rep at angies list about this very sitiuation. I am sorry that it didn't work out for you."

It went very well. The technician, Zac, was very professional and I have confidence in the work he completed. I feel the prices charged may have been a bit on the high side, but I also feel like the it's top-quality work, so I was willing to pay a little more. Also, honest work, as Zac told me I didn't needed to replace a faulty capacitor (which I had previously expected needed replacing), as it was not required with the new blower motor replacement.

Matt arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes, fixed it and made a recommendation that we have the system tuned up once every 6 months to avoid similar problems. He was very professional, straight forward and did not give us any song and dance--unlike so many contractors we have dealt with in the past who either try to hide their incompetence or propose ridiculous prices for simple work. We have worked with Matt many times before because of his excellent work, no-nonsense approach, reliability, fair pricing and business ethics. We will continue to call him for work on our home and recommend his company to anyone who needs an electrical contractor.
