Excellent. Jay's uses a non high-pressure method to clean the house, so no damage to the siding is possible. The uncovered deck was stripped of old stain, then re-stained. It looks so much better! I have Jay's come out to clean the exterior of the house at least once a year. (I have also used Jay's for exterior painting in the past, and that went well too).

The two men from Jay's Painting were wonderful to have in our home. They were friendly and professional. We've used other paint contractors in the past and Jay's Painting was our favorite to work with. They were on time and cleaned up well when they finished. Their price was a bit higher than I was expecting but it was well worth it, the quality of the paint job was excellent. I recommend them and will use them again in the future!

We had Jay's do a cleaning of the house, repair some wood rot in the trim and front porch, and paint the trim. Finished product looked fantastic. In truth, after the cleaning they did I had actually thought they painted it looked so good. Jay was very easy to talk to and made sure to explain in detail everything he was going to do, as well as gave us things to look for as we proceeded to get quotes from either other painters, or for other household services we would be requiring. Every member of his crew was very professional and courteous. Couldn't even tell they were here after they were done, as no mess was left behind at all. Very pleased with the service and will definitely have Jay's in mind for the future when we want to have the whole house painted.

Rarely do you find a company that delivers everything exactly as promised so I was really impressed that not one thing we discussed when Jay gave us our estimate was not done to the letter. Not only was the workmanship excellent, the painting crew were polite and did a great job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend Jay and his staff to anyone looking for a superior paint job.

Jay and his staff arrived on time and were at work almost immediately. By the end of the day, the foyer looked gorgeous, the furniture in two rooms were moved to paint ceilings and then moved back. and it was stress free for me. There were several small holes that needed to be patched (hooks were removed and a light fixture was replaced the day before in anticipation of the painting). I cannot tell where the holes were, the painters smoothed it all out, along with a small settling crack midway in the room. The painters were courteous and thorough, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

They were very professional and I will use them again in the future. I'm going to have them perform the interior painting for our home as well. They were very courteous and careful while performing the work. Any adjustments to the contract were added on via an addendum so we were always up to date. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a house painter.

Jay was extremely thorough when performing the estimate and asked frequent and relevant questions that enabled him to evaluate the potential job properly. He also explained how he would perform certain tasks that would be required. He acted very professionally, and was personable as well. Because it was getting dark, Jay mentioned that he would return to finish the outdoor estimate. When Jay's assistant called to inform me that Jay would not bid on the job, she briefly stated the reasons, all of which I understood. I appreciated the explanation.

The front door paint started peeling after a couple of months of painting. Jay and crew came and scraped and repainted the peeling portions once. However, the repainted and other parts started peeling again within a few weeks. He did not have any long term solution and blamed the original door preparation by the manufacturer. This front steel door was installed by the builder about 25 years back and had been re-painted 2 to 3 times before, all of which lasted without any problem for many years. Had there been a problem with the original door preparation by the manufacturer, there would have been problems with the earlier paint jobs, starting with the very first original paint job, which I never had. Therefore, Jay's explanation was totally illogical. I asked Jay that if he did not know the long term fix, at least fix it under his 2-yr. labor warranty; he refused to do it saying he could not responsible be for the "manufacturers defect" - even though his warranty did not have any mention of such an exception. It was clear that he was looking for an excuse for not honoring the warranty. I had selected Jays Painting mainly because of his 2-yr. warranty even though his price quote was the highest. My concern now is that Jay used a paint incompatible with the previous paints and ruined it for future paint jobs also. I will have to replace the door since stripping his paint may be even more costly.

Owner responded to request for services promptly. A written contract was given for the job listing the services to be preformed with the final price. Painters were punctual and professional, and the job was done on time and with no price overrun. The house was built in 1942, so recent government regulations on paint removal and painting were observed.

I did not use them for the painting job. I am in the home owners association and they voted to do with another company. Their demeanor was excellent. They were very knowledgeable about painting and extremely conscientious. I am in the board of directors at the place where I live and would have considered him for the 154 homes in this project but then the other board members didn’t like their bid and did not go forward with it. I have had a bid from him even before my home owner was in the board of directors. They were more concerned about all the small details that mattered to me. I like them a lot because they were topnotch. Their bid was high compared to the other bid that I had got. They were recommended to me by my neighbor who had got a really nice paint job done. My only concern was the price.

Contacted Jay. He came over right away and gave us a estimate. After we agreed to hiring him,, he and his workers came over and were punctual, professional and got the job done quickly. It's been almost 3 years since they've done the work and house still looks great. I would hire him again.

We were very pleased with the work. The quality is superb and the team was able to work around all of our furniture. They cleaned up as they went and did a final cleaning at the end, so there was very little extra for us to do one they had finished the job. The entire job took a full five workdays beginning on Monday and ending on Friday afternoon. Most of Monday was taken up stripping wallpaper, and Jay met with us because it was apparent that more work was going to be involved in prepping the walls for paint. He originally estimated that it might take an extra day, which would have put us into the following week. However, his team was able to get all the work done within the originally estimated schedule, which was great! Jay is bonded and insured, and we left a house key with him so he and his crew could come and go as they pleased. In fact, we never saw any of the crew except Jay the entire week! They were very responsible and took good care of the house (including watching out for our three cats!).

Overall performance and our satisfaction with the paint job was outstanding. Estimate visit was thorough with detailed explanatioin of exactly what would be provided, and the details all showed up in the contract. All dates and times were as promised. Care for my home was outstanding. Four workers used on job. All workers were professional, courteous and amenable to all my requests as the job went along. They came back one final time to correct even the smallest imperfections that I could find. They moved furniture and cleaned up the work area each day. The quailty of the job was outstanding. I would recommend to others and would use them again. Payment was not required until the entire job was completed. The price was a little high compared to other estimates, but I'm glad I went with my gut feeling that Jay's conscientiousness was worth the difference, and the end product was well worth what I paid.

We highly recommend Jay's Painting. They showed up on time and were very thorough. We will be using them again if the need arises.
