All aspects of working with Advanced Door Systems were outstanding.  Dave, the installer, was very professional and informed us that we had replaced wooden doors with metal doors and that they had been installed on wood tracks which accounted for much of the wear and tear on the track system.  He did an outstanding job on fixing all the problems and even offered to return to fix the door plastic trim on the outside as I had forgotten to include it in the original estimate.  The company owner had personally stopped by to give me an estimate on the work that was needed.  I highly recommend this company!

great work on time

My garage door would not open Thursday night and even disengaging the door would not allow it to open.  Luckily both of my families cars were being used when we returned home to find this problem.  The spring coil that helps open and close the garage door had broken possibly secondary to the below freezing temperatures and the fact that they were 14 years old.  The repairmen put my house at the top of the list and fixed it within an hour and installed the new rubber strip along the bottom of the door.  Apparently they shrink over time and so I had a 4 inch open gap when the door was shut.  I am very happy to have my door functioning again and am very happy with this company.  This is actually my 4th time in 5 years having them out to service my garage door so I am hoping not to have any more problems!

I contacted these guys the first work day after Christmas and they there the same day. Very professional, price wasn't bad and the service was great!! I highly recommend them!

One of the springs on my garage door broke in the middle of the night.  The next day I checked Angie's List for businesses that repair garage doors and picked Advanced Door Systems based on reviews and location.  They were unable to get to me the day I called but were able to be at my home the next day first thing in the morning.
Based on what I told them on the phone, they quoted me $280 for two springs (it seemed prudent to replace both springs since they were the same age and obviously the same amount of wear). I also asked that they do an overall check of both of my doors (I have two single doors for a two car garage) although they said that they did that routinely whenever they made a service call.  While I thought that this was necessary, I was afraid that this would give them the opportunity to "find" other problems to fix including possibly telling me that I should replace the springs in the other door.  However, based on the reviews I read, I felt somewhat comfortable that this firm is reputable and would not try to talk me into accepting unneeded additional work.
I was very pleased by the whole experience.  First, it turned out that what I told them on the phone led them to believe I needed a different type of spring than what I actually had.  What I needed was cheaper and reduced the cost $80 from what they originally told me.  I would have never known had they just installed the correct springs and charged me for the more expensive ones.  On top of that, the technician (Dave) replaced three door rollers (plus he showed me how to replace them in case I ever need to), lubricated all rollers and pulleys on both doors, tightened several brackets, tightened the chain on both doors and checked the drive motor (which is pretty old) for wear.  There were a lot of opportunities for him to tell me additional work was necessary but he apparently gave me an honest assessment even though it didn't result in any additional business for him.  For all this there was no extra charge.  I paid $200 for the entire job which, as I said already, was $80 cheaper than what I was first quoted.
I absolutely recommend Advanced Door Systems if you need garage door work done.

 The technician came when we arranged, went straight to work -- had to level the door, shim the tracks, adjust the photo eyes, and re-set the tension spring system.  He finished in an hour and a half and the door works perfectly. 

I was very pleased.  Will definitely call nextmonth when I want to surprise my father with a garage door opener for Christmas!

This morning my wife reported our garage door was "broke" and would not close. Upon inspection I found that a roller had fallen off and I had a few busted hinges (stripped screws). I went to Angie's List and looked at the reviews and choose Advanced Door Systems. I called before 8AM and talked to a very polite employee named George. He said he would try to get me on the schedule that day but the repair person was not available to be able to confirm yet (getting service today was important since I had already taken the day off to get a Windows contractor by to look at some issues with some windows). George said he would call me back once he knew if he could get me on the schedule for today. I did receive a call back and they were able to schedule me for the afternoon. Casey arrived a few hours later and immediately fixed the problems with the door. Door works great now and better than it was before the repair!! VERY PLEASED WITH THE TIMELY SERVICE I RECEIVED.

to $1I thought I was going to need two garage door openers at a total cost of around $700.  But when the serviceman (Casey) arrived he said the doors and openers were in good shape and just needed some repair, which would cost approximately the price of the service call ($90).  I also asked him about fixing or replacing the keypad on the outside of the garage.  The old one was beyond repair, so he replaced it with a new one.  I also asked about getting a new car remote, and he had one with him which he sold me.  Those two items increased the total cost to about $150, which I considered a very fair price for what he did.
Casey was very professional --- efficient, unobtrusive, honest, courteous, and thorough.   I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a garage door opener repaired or replaced.  I had a great experience with them

They came out and gave us an estimate the same day we called.  We ordered the doors and they were installed in one day.  The day after they were installed we noticed a problem with one door not closing properly.  They came out the next day, showed how the door had gotten off track, fixed it quickly, noted that we needed to close door slowly to start.  It has worked perfectly since then.

I called on Monday and on Wednesday morning they had a man out to
install a new garage door opener.  I had bought the new opener, so they
only installed it (they normally sell and install) but they gave me no
problem about doing only the install.  Buying my own and having them
install was cheaper than them doing both.  The installer did his job
quickly and was done and out in about 2 hrs or less.  The office
personnel were very courteous and helpful.

On my initial call, I spoke with George and he offered advice on how to replace the spring and recommended that I replace both at the same time.  I really appreciate the time that he spent explaining it to me.  Since he said that it was not a difficult job, I initially thought about doing the work myself, but realized that since I recently had shoulder surgery that it would be more than I should attempt on my own.  I called back the next day and asked them to set me up a time to get this repaired.  He scheduled me for the "afternoon" of the next business day and said that the technician would call 30 minutes prior to arrival so I could get home from work.
Well, I never got the call to go home, but that is not a bad thing.  Luckily my son-in-law was there when the serviceman arrived to fix the springs.  He replaced both springs and verified that the door functioned properly.  Since I was not there to make the payment, he left without receiveing payment or leaving a receipt or copy of the work order.  I guess he realized after the work was done that he was supposed to call me 30 minutes before his arrival.  Had my son-in-law not been there he would have had to wait a half hour for me to get home.
I cannot review the serviceman since I was not there, but as far as I can tell the work was done properly, the door functions properly and there was no debris or old parts left on the premisis.
The next business day George called me to settle the account.  I gave him my payment information and he will be sending me the receipt and a copy of the work order.
I would like to have been there when the work was performed, but I got a full day in at work rather than taking time off, so I guess it all worked out. 
The only contact I had wih the company is with George on the phone, and he was very friendly, and was easy to talk to about the problem with the door.  He talked to me like a person rather than a job, which if you've talked to many service organizations is a rare thing these days.  Thanks George!

He showed up, accessed the situation and quickly replaced the brackets then verfied the rollers.  He also attached a loose rubber matting on the bottom.

Over all they were very accomodation the worker were plesant to be around and George bent over bacward to see our wor was done.  He visited the site several times.

My previous garage door opener had been misbehaving for months. When it finally died, I released it from the opener with the pull cord. It should have functioned like a manual garage door when lifted. Instead, in slipped back down, cracking me on the head. I did not realize the spring was bad and the old opener was working overtime to keep it under control. Humph. A friend recommended I call Steve at Advanced. Steve returned my call within a couple hours. In another hour, his tech, Casey, was at my home. Casey repaired the spring and replaced the door opener. He was professional and polite. He did the work in about 90 minutes. He reset my car's dashboard remote to work with the new opener. He also thought to replace the outside keypad. A job well done -- and same day service.

At this time I have not had the correct type of door installed.  All the Rep had to do was put an L behind the door number

This is the second time I have used this company.  They do a great job and are very prompt.  I was tired of my genie garage door opener malfunctioning.  It had been installed I believe by the previous homeowner and was not done well.  The sensors had been set too high, it wobbled on the ceiling when in use and the switch on the wall was cheap and the light would not work sometimes.  I finally decided to upgrade to the new Linear which had better security features.  It can lock when I am away so an opener wouldn't work, and the code changes frequently so it can not be activated as easily as the Genie.  The man who set it all up worked on it for 2-3 hours maybe and he did a great job.  My only complaint is that he touched my openers with greasy hands and so I had to clean them off once he had left.  The rollers on the door need to be replaces because they are wobbly and not working well but the installer didn't have any additional parts and althought the rollers dont cost much the service call would.  So I haven't changed them yet. 

A few days after my system was put in it wouldn't close.  George came out and was able to adjust the sensors and get it to function.  He was very kind!

Great experience. The only don't is don't try to close your garage door with something in the way!

removed old garage doors.  put up new bracing for the new doors, installed new doors.  Adjusted the doors to ensure they were operational.  Came back later to make additional adjustments.

The service was very good.

WHEN THE OWNER KNEW THE GARAGE DOOR WAS NOT FUNCTIONAL, HE MADE EVERY ATTEMPT TO FIX MY GARAGE DOOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
THE SERVICEMAN WAS PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL.
THE SPRINGS INSTALLED WERE A LITTLE DISCOLORED BUT A WORKING WELL TWO MONTHS LATER.

NEW PARTS WERE INSTALLED WHERE NECESSARY.

They came and gave me a free estimate. He installed a pannel that was missing.  He also was applied an oil to the portions of the doors and was get the doors working again and also in a very quiet manner.  He also was able to get the door to close completely, which was part of the main problem, which also prevented a mouse problem.  He also was prepared when he arrived.

I called the first thing in the morning for help with the broken garage door mechanism and they had a repairman at the house by 1030. He immediately diagnosed the problem and repaired it in less than an hour - a great job. Everyone with whom I spoke at Advanced was courteous, professional, and very helpful. My experience with Advanced Door Systems was outstanding in every way - I strongly recommend that anyone needing any garage work done should give them a call.

They had the best overall plan and the best warranty. They did an excellent job.

I called this company first thing in the morning and they were able to have a technician, Skye, come out and service my garage door around 4pm. He replace a broken hinge and the wheel that was off track and was able to get the door functioning again. He sprayed silicone spray on the hinges to reduce squeaking. He told me the things he would change with my Genie system if I upgraded to a newer model...priced around 350 for a new unit with better features. Overall I was very impressed with the service and that they were able to fix my door in one day.

Asked the Roofing Company for a reference and this company was recommended. The owner came out and measured. Work was down quickly and with no mess.
