I've used them multiple times; I won't use any one but them. Everything was excellent. They have a great ability to handle emergencies. The people that do the work are very pleasant. This last tech was very clean & cleaned up after himself, used a drop cloth & was very contentious about not making & leaving a mess. Every time I've called into the office the receptionists have been very helpful in getting someone out quickly. I was very pleased with the service & price, especially considering it was an emergency situation.

kGene and his crew installed a well tank and water filtration system, put in a sump pump, re-located plumbing lines and moved the well tank location and did exterior drainage line trenching so that rain runoff would be located away from house basement. The process took two full days. There were no major issues and everything went smoothly.

They are very courteous, helpful, and clean up after themselves. They do a good job and have reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I called on Monday to arrange the appointment. I was told that someone could come Tuesday morning and that I would get a call in the morning to give me the exact time. I didn't get the call with the exact time, but the truck arrived at 9:00 which suited me fine. The two men were friendly, professional and explained things well. There was absolutely no pressure to do the more extensive and expensive option. They worked quickly and efficiently - not a lot of chit chat with each other or with me. At my request, they gave me a ball park figure to get the pipe replaced (and also noted some things that would make sense to do at the same time). I plan to have this and some other work done by them in a couple of months.

Went great. Genes coordinated everything in a timely manner, mindful of any inconvenience to me during the transition. I am completely satisfied with the unit Gene's recommended for my house, and the additional detailed maintenance information they provided me afterward.

Excellent service. We called on a Sunday, and the operator disclosed the additional fee for weekend service. We declined, and they had a technician on our property at 7:30 Monday morning. Polite, courteous, professional. Highly satisfied. Will definitely use again.

They did a marvelous job. It is a family owned small business. They are extremely responsive and efficient. The price is right and very fair minded people.

I needed my galvanized pipe water line that was put in in the 70s replaced from the meter to the house (outside only - 180 feet). After having an estimate done by a company in Winchester for $4400 I looked on Angie's List and found Gene's Plumbing. I right away had them come out and do an estimate for me. I felt that Gene was honest and knowledgable. Even better his estimate came in at only $2800. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they worked around my schedule. The job was completed in one day and on budget. They also noted that my connection to the county water was outdated (too small for the current code) so they got the county out and had them update it while the ground was open. So now my water flow is much better, I wouldn't have known to call the county or that it would be free to me for them to replace it. They cleaned up the property with grass and straw and even asked me where I wanted them to put the huge rocks (some were boulders) that they dug up for the new line. Overall I felt well taken care of by Gene's Plumbing and I will definitely call them again for future plumbing needs.

Finally I found a dependable plumber in Shenandoah County. Came on a Saturday and went through everything before assuming it needed a new pump. Plumber went above and beyound and bill was very reasonable. Am very pleased. Was friendly and professional.

They where prompt and professional, I would use them with out a doubt...Stay away from Flowright if you are hunting for a plumber in this area.

I went to turn on the shower and nothing but a dribble. The next morning I called Gene's Plumbing on the recommendation of some local old-timers. They arrived about an hour later than quoted, but this was no problem as they are a small operation and this was an emergency call. They inspected everything from the well to the tap and concluded that lightning had hit my pump the night before. They called in reinforcements, snatched out the bad pump and set a new jacuzzi pump in about 4 hours. They did not mess up the yard or track mud anywhere inside the cellar. During this time they maintained cell phone updates as I was at work. They pointed out some problem areas to have replaced in the future and advised me to change out the water filter in about 3 days. All in all, they were a great bunch of guys who did excellent work.
