A few years ago,we met Todd at a home show and he came out and did an estimate. We decided we would put that project on the back burner.
This year saw him at the home show, and we scheduled a time for him to come out which was March 10. He told us to come to the showroom and look around before he came out and we can talk about ideas. We called to see if we can get a copy of the estimate. He never called us back. We went to the showroom, we first worked with the guy, he was good. Then they did a switch and we got a woman. She started out nice and then became very rude to us. She showed us what the tiles looked like with the light hitting it. Then she told us we had to pick one item, and we stated we were looking and that Todd was coming to our house so we can get another estimate. She tells us that he comes to finalize it so we need to pick everything out.
Todd never showed up on March 10. We called the tile place and the women kept hanging up on us.
Also why we were at the showroom, several other people walked out stating how rude and hostile she was.
"I did give you an estimate a few years ago when you 1st purchased your home. You and your husband came up to my booth at the last Home Show and said you like to get a estimate for a bath remodel. I said that I had given you one and starting telling you what your baths and house looked like and you said that I had a good memory. You said you were interested in having me out again and I explained I had the measurements and our process is to give the estimate and the next step was coming into the showroom to select materials then I come back out with them so we can look at everything in your house. We set the appt a few weeks away so that you would have several weekends to come in and make material selections. You came in on a Sat which can be busy and my son starting working with you. My wife was finishing up with another customer and when she finished she came to help. You had a lot of selections and she was trying to help you narrow it down since it would be hard to carry an unlimited amount of things back to your house for the appt. You became upset and walked out. Your husband came back in and said you wouldnt be using our services so I didnt come to the scheduled appt. My wife is direct and honest which most people appreciate. She was not hostile and no customers stated she was rude and walked out. We have over 1500 visitors to the showroom a year and most people love my wife."
We received an estimate from several companies and were most impressed with TLG's thoroughness and willingness to listen to our ideas when designing our room. Estimate was detailed and presented without pressure. TLG is a very professional and friendly company. The owner, Todd, was punctual with providing the estimate and starting and completing the remodel. TLG's showroom is not large but has an outstanding selection of tile, vanities, cabinets, etc. We were not overwhelmed with too much selection. Todd and Antonia are consummate professionals. Their extensive selection of tiles and fixtures in the showroom at first seemed daunting, but the combination of Todd's experience and Antonia's designers keen eye (and patience), simplified our design process.
Our next remodeling project is the kitchen and we will only use TLG for the project. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional vendor with high quality materials and workmanship and a commitment to excellent customer service.
