Sixpenny Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning

They came late. The technician tried to explain something to me but I really didn't understand him. He went ahead and completed the work without any other issue. He was polite, courteous and efficient. I can't really check the work as it is on the top of my chimney and well beyond my reach.

They were 20:00 late from the 4 hour window, but did a good job. They did both chimney cleaning / inspection & dryer vent cleaning. They put down a tarp for the chimney cleaning, so there was no mess, which I really appreciated. Only gave a 4 for value since I thought they were a little pricey. My neighbor downstairs had the same service from another company for $70 less.

They were very prompt and good. I am happy with the service.

Job quote was $135. Did not show up during appointed time window. Dissembled vent and then said had to pay $550 up front to finish job. Had to cut through wallboard for repair (caused the added cost, and was reasonable). However, they do not do wallboard repairs so I was left with 3 unrepaired holes in wallboard. Came back second day and again missed time window. Also did not have ladder tall enough for job, so had to wait for another crew. End repair seems OK and end price probably reasonable.

The did a wonderful job and the quoted and actual costs were same. The took the time to complete a job and did not hurry to finish. The concern I had was they arrived on the later part of schedule window and I had to call up twice to confirm the exact time they would home. The technicians did a good work.

Would like to have seen the amount of dirt removed. They put in a new filter and I would like to have seen the filter that came out.

Very nice customer service. Explained a lot about the process and typical area chimneys before we even hired them. Gave me a nice discount to get my business. Was able fix some minor fireplace damage on site, and showed up on time. Technicians we nice but there was a bit of a language barrier, which is something to note- not necessarily a bad thing but it did make explaining the repair a bit of a challenge until photos were taken. Very nice work overall, we are actually asking for an estimate for another job with them soon.

I was extremely happy with the responsiveness of this company to my inquiry. My chimney repair ended up encompassing 3 other neighbors and we actually received a discount for more than one. The guys who worked on my chimney were polite, friendly, and prompt. They cleaned the chimney and inspected it, and were also very informative throughout the process. I thought Six Penny was very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend them to everyone. Additional work needed to be completed on my project and I liked that the chimney guy left me a quote without being pushy and trying to get me to committ on the spot.

They came out right away to clean my furnace and water heater flue, and had good follow up from their office.
