Overall, the service is professional and knowledgeable, but pricey.  When scheduling the appointment, they state the electrician(s) will price the job once they arrive, and you can decide if you want the service performed or not.  This sounds great in practice; but makes it really hard to compare one company's price to another as you have nothing to compare the price to.
I just purchased a house and had a number of electrical items I wanted repaired.  To repair all the items would have cost over $2000.  After the estimate, I agreed to have the three items above completed.
Installing the ceiling fan cost was pricey.  I've seen other highly rated firms charge less, I'd recommend shopping around for this service. 
Installing the three way switch cost nearly as much as installing the fan, but there was much more work involved.  For the fee, the electricians removed three old sets of wire from the boxes, changed the former item the switch controlled (wall sockets in various rooms) to being always on instead of being controlled by the switch, and pulled in new wires.  They noted that the old wire was bare in spots (it looked to have been stripped when previously installed).  They had to go into the hot attic to remove the old wire / install the new wire.  This repair was made professionally and with care to be aesthetically pleasing.
My issue is with the third item; troubleshooting another three way light.  I noticed that the two switches didn't seem to talk to each other properly.  The electrician opened both covers, pulled out the switches and in about 10 seconds noted the problem... that the wire connecting the two switches was disconnected from one of the two switches.  He literally repaired the problem in 10 seconds, and charged over three digits $$$ for the service.  That seems excessive, especially since this was the third item repaired, and they were there anyway.  When I noted that the price seemed high, the electrician shared a story about an HVAC friend charging $600 to repair something at a commercial property that was similarly easy. He also said "you're paying me for my knowledge and experience, not my time."   Though I appreciated the analogy, that doesn't really address the fact that the charge for this item is extreme based on the time of service on this repair.  When asked, he did explain what he repaired, so I now have knowledge on how a three way switch works.
I know there's a cost for having an experienced electrician come to repair an item; that's why I hired an electrician, vice a handy-man service or other provider.  Seeing the stripped wire from the earlier repair justified hiring an electrician, it's just the price from this provider that's the issue.
Again, great service; very high price.

Matt was exactly what you'd want out of a service provider.  He was prompt and clear in his communications, he provided a quick and reasonable estimate, he was punctual, and he did a really good job for us.  We have recommended him to several people, and he would be our first call for additional electrical work in our home.

I called for an estimate and Matt was able to come out the following Saturday to do the estimate.  We had a long list of things that we wanted done 'eventually' and he was able to give us an estimate on all of them individually so that we could choose what to do at this time.  We had two ceiling fans that we needed to install and he was also able to give us advice on which were quality brands, quiet, etc.  We decided what work we wanted done and Matt was able to schedule it the next weekend.  He showed up on time and was incredibly courteous throughout the work day.  He gave sound advice as far as locations for our recessed lighting and even some options when what we wanted to do originally was not feasible due to duct work.  He did great work and we are completely pleased with the results.  On top of all of that, he's a great guy to talk to and learn from!  We will definitely call Matt for any further electrical work we need done.

We had 10 recessed lights installed, along with dimmers and switches. Our house is about 50 years old and the wiring is pretty shoddy. Victor spent 12 hours the first day on 6 of the lights, and came back on Saturday - his day off - to finish the rest. He explained what he was doing and made suggestions and recommendations that were very helpful. We will definitely be using Mister Rogers Electric again!

I can't say enough good things about Mr. Rogers Electric!  My wife and I recently purchased a home, and during the pre-sale home inspection, the inspector identified some problem areas in our new home's electrical panel--namely he could tell that water had gotten into the panel at some point and could have damaged the breakers.  He recommended contacting an electrician for a full inspection of the panel, and suggested we'd probably have to get a whole new panel--no small undertaking.  Recognizing this would be a big job, I spent hours on Angie's List and other sites trying to identify a reputable, local electrician.  In the end, I settled on Mr. Rogers Electric and am so happy I did!  On closing day, Fransys and his assistant showed up--on time and with a 30-minute warning call--and took a look at the problem.  Within ten minutes Fransys had inspected everything and told me he could fix everything that day and that it wouldn't require a new panel--just new breakers.  I had figured I would have to take another day off of work so they could come back and do the service, but he fixed it on the spot!  He also replaced an outdoor plug that had lost the cover and also fixed a faulty switch in a bedroom (that one was on the house!).  
Overall, I was very impressed with Fransys and his assistant's  professionalism, timeliness, and enthusiasm.  I now know I have an electrician I can trust to service my new home for years to come.

To say that this company does an amazing job is an understatement. Frances and another gentleman came to my residence earlier than the expected time (I didn't even think this happened anymore!), had a very pleasant and professonal manner about them, and listened to all of the concerns/things I needed done with my unit with complete understanding.  What was most important is that I told them that I had a strict budget and they stuck to it! 
I thought they were just coming to my unit to give me an estimate and come back another day to do the work but in fact they were able to do the work while they were there.  And they were quick - about 2 hours to do all of the work.  Everything that was done exceeded my expectations. 
You would be crazy not to hire these guys.  I'll absolutely use them again in the future!

Mr. Rogers has a great receptionist; he was very friendly and professional.  It was easy to set up an appointment at my preferred time.  Victor called ahead of time, and showed up exactly on time.  He was very professional, courteous, and was already wearing slipcovers on his shoes when he arrived at the door.  Since the fix to my bathroom fan was so easy, he decided not to charge me for it.  He offered to look at the fuse box, and gave me a good education on what was good there and what I could replace if I wanted to.  Very professional and courteous throughout.  He worked up an estimate and emailed it to me immediately.  I was very impressed and appreciative of his punctuality, responsiveness, and professionalism.  Definitely using this company again.

Recommends a new box - VERY pricey - says it's not absolutely necessary now but says the box's reliability is in question. Have contacted our homeowner's insurance to see if this incident would be covered by our insurance.

I reached out to Mister Rogers Electric based on their Angie's List reviews. I am very pleased with the service and quality of work that Victor and Matt provided. Victor was very prompt, professional and responsive. He is passionate about his job and takes pride in his work and it shows.

We had several exchanges from the first site visit up until the start of the work being performed to finalize the scope and come to an agreement on pricing. Victor clearly laid out all options and responded back very quickly. After the first day, there was still some work left to be done and Victor volunteered to finish the work on a Sunday in order to accommodate the painters we had coming in on Saturday.

The installation of the lighting, outlets, fan switches and new panel went very well. I would use Victor and Matt again and I definitely plan on calling them if I need any additional electrical work completed.

Matt called ahead to let me know he was on his way and arrived right on time. The first thing he did was to put on shoe coverings outside my door before entering, and the second was to completely cover my computer and printer work area with plastic and put down a drop cloth on the floor where he would be working. Matt carried out the work extremely efficiently and when he had finished, he cleaned up and took all the debris with him. As a really professional touch, whenever Matt does work for you, he follows up by mailing a thank-you postcard with a personal, handwritten message.
Matt was recommended to me by neighbors eight years ago when I moved into my high rise condo, and he has done a great deal of electrical work for me since then: installation of new switches and outlets; relocation of outlets; replacement of all my light fixtures; installation of a hardwired smoke alarm; installation of new lighting (including under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, an outdoor light on my balcony, a sconce in the entryway to my bedroom, and a ceiling light in my guest bedroom). The ceiling light was not a completely straightforward job, since there is a solid concrete slab between floors in my building.
When I have finished my office renovation, I'll be having Matt back to replace any remaining original outlets and switches in my 1975 condo unit so that they are up to current code.
Matt is professional, personable, and extremely competent. He is knowledgeable and up-to-date on local code requirements. He is quick to offer options, where possible, and to explain the pros and cons of different approaches. He and his business manager David make a great and very service-oriented team -- and what's more, they are the nicest guys.

We've used Matt before and have been delighted with his work.  He is a true professional who cares about the level of service he provides to the customer.  We presented him with the problem of a dark space;  he selected the light fixtures and their placement.
The lighting is perfect and lets us adjust the level to accommodate the TV.  Excellent work!
Matt is very aware that he is working in someone's home and is extremely careful about keeping the dust and debris involved in an electrical project contained so that it does not spread into the house.   We have used him on small and big projects; his work has always been excellent.

The service went exceptionally well.  Victor called prior to arrival and was on time.  He wore cloth "booties" on his shoes to protect the floor surface.  He explained the options thoroughly and made adjustments in response to our concerns.  He charged by the job, not by the hour. While drilling holes in the concrete ceiling, he first taped up a plastic sheet completely around the drilling site to keep dust from settling elsewhere in the room.  It was a complicated challenge and he did a terrific job.  We will readily call him again.  Very neat, very friendly, very professional.

Victor arrived right on time and worked for almost 10 hours with just a few short breaks. To install the fans he had to work in confined spaces in the attic and made excellent adjustments to the installation where it impacted the roof trusses.
Victor was very professional and explained all of the options that were available along with the pros and cons of each option. He was very neat and meticulous about his work. Once the fans were installed, they looked like they were part of the original house construction.
He determined what additional outlets were on the same circuit as the outside outlets and by adding another circuit breaker he was able to give a much better balance to overall house electrical loading.
Victor is a real asset to Mr. Rogers Electric and I plan on using them again for future electrical work. I couldn't be more pleased.

Both Vic (lead electrician) and David (estimater/scheduler) were AWESOME.  They were just excellent in their customer service -- responsive, courteous, timely, informative -- made an effort to accommodate our schedule, gave detailed quotes, responded to all emails, explained everything that was being done in detail, gave us options, and made sure we were pleased with the resulting work.  The work was all completed in a thoughtful and professional manner, including protecting carpets and other areas inside the house during each visit, and with good humor and creativity!  We have already recommended Mr. Rogers Electric to our neighbors.

Good experience. Matt called in advance to let us know he was en route, so we were ready for him when he arrived. He reduced his original quote of $308 to $260 because the kitchen sink light only needed the wiring tray replaced with a new one that we provided, rather than a whole new fixture. There was minimal drywall dust from the installation of the bathroom receptacle, and most of that was cleaned up by Matt.

It was awesome. Dave was very responsive and Matt was great at the service.

Had an emergency (half the lights out in the house) and called, he arrived at 7 AM (made a special arrangement to meet my tenant) before his booked  schedule (he fit us in).  And took care of the problem within 45 minutes. As a landlord, I appreciated his professionalism and how he called me before during and after his work.  He didn't overdo the amount of work and made a recommendation to me for another time, he didn't try to "upsell" me on his services.  He put on slippers when he arrived at the house and was extremely clean!

The job was completed accurately and promptly; nobody could ask for better service.

Matt was very punctual.  He quickly identified the problem with the overhead fixture and repaired it, then took the time to check other electrical outlets to make sure there were no other problems.  In addition, he patiently answered my questions about the different types of overhead lighting fixtures that could be installed in rooms where lighting was poor (plus gave some estimated costs). 
Matt was extremely competent and also very friendly.  The work was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction.  I originally found Mister Rogers Electric due to his positive reviews on Yelp, and then confirmed those reviews on Angie's List.  There is a good reason why all the reviews are positive.  I highly recommend Mister Rogers Electric, and will definitely use Matt again when I have need of an electrician.

Victor began troubleshooting and within an hour, Matt came over to double-team the process. By the third hour, after a time-consuming process of elimination, crawling in the crawl space, etc., they discovered the source of the problem, made the necessary repairs, completed the other items and cleaned up after they were finished. I was so pleased with their work, I requested a couple of more items to be done (replace a non-working recessed kitchen ceiling light fixture) and they returned within a couple of weeks (my availability was the issue) to do it. They are a pleasant team of professionals, and just as importantly, they are honest and fair. I recommend them 100%!

Matt did a wonderful job and we would recommend him to anybody. He actually told us that if we would have waited longer that we could have had a bad house fire because of the electrical wires. The furnace kept having an electrical trip and thats why we initially needed an electrician. Our neighbor used to work with Matt and that's who referred him to us.

Victor arrived for our appointment, on time, and had many excellent suggestions. He was courteous and professional at all times.
When I mentioned that I was having problems finding light fixtures that used standard incandescent bulbs, he dropped off some catalogues for us to look at. Many of the fixtures, that I was looking for, were in those books ... at very reasonable prices.
We received a clear,  itemized statement, by email,  within three days.
After we received the estimate, I had a question about LED light bulb wattage conversions (from incandescent to LED). I called Victor and he answered all my questions and told me to feel free to call him if I had any more questions.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any electrical work.
