My husband and I overpaid him on accident. We overpaid by $60.00 at a very high market price. I am out $60 and I call him and text him and tried everything I could. He told me that he broke and that I could stand in line to get my money back. Make sure you do not pay him before the job was done because you will never see him again. I think he is capable and can do a good job but you have to be very careful when using him.
Description of Work: Approximately the spring of 2010 hired him to do work where I was employed. We found him through a referral service used by businesses in the area. I believe it was called the Blue List. He was to do work on a few refrigerated ice makers. He was able to correct the problem but it took 3 trips. Each time he wanted payment in advance and he didn’t want a company check but we were able to work with him on that. I then had a refrigerator at home that failed so I call him for that and to install garbage disposal at rental. I really wanted to give a small business a chance and it didn’t end up working out. It took 2 visits to fix the refrigerator and one piece was never put it but finally was repair
