Jim Hyland always dies excellent work at a fair price. In addition to my semi-annual gutter cleaning, repair and repainting was required of a window frame that had had significant damage done by squirrels chewing on it over the past year. Repair was done with non-wood material so hopefully the squirrels won’t bother it in the future, in addition to repainting and caulking the window. You can’t tell the difference from a new window. Service was prompt as I didn’t want to have exposed wood over the winter months. I highly recommend Hyland Home Services.

I hired Hyland Home Services to clean our gutters. They did a great job. They arrived on time, were very courteous and respectful, and they did a very thorough job of cleaning our gutters. Our mesh gutter covers weren’t working effectively anymore, so they removed them for us during the cleaning process. I would definitely recommend their services, and I plan to use them again in the future.

I cannot emphasize how well the project went with Jim. He finished an extensive repair in less time than quoted AND under budget despite the damage exceeded the original scope! There are a lot of choices out there for contractors, but Hyland Home is as good as they get!

Jim and his son did an excellent job for us with power washing the roof, gutter, and fascia. They also cleaned the front portion of the siding and windows without charging me extra for it. It was a pleasure dealing with them. I thought their quotes were very reasonable.

Easy to work with.

Mr Hyland has cleaned our gutters for a number of years. We have a large home, and after an initial run of inadequate gutter clean-outs from other companies, we were happy to find Mr Hyland. He and his team have no fear of getting up on the roof. They take their time and clean and rinse out the gutters. Also, he will repair any issues along the way, instead of ignoring and telling us we need to schedule another appt for repair. When we decided it was time to have the exterior repaired and painted, Mr Hyland was our first choice, as we knew we could trust him to be professional and thorough. He and his team did not disappoint. Mr Hyland worked around late fall weather to help us get the exterior of our home painted and repaired. They repaired wood rot on the eaves and trim around garage doors. They painted all the eaves, windows, the front porch and pillars, our back screened porch( inside and out), and the deck railing. Mr. Hyland also worked with us on the color of our window shutters and front door; and was most patient and helpful as were went back and forth on the color. Most of the work was up on a ladder. They were great about cleaning up as they went. We were not home the majority of the time, yet we were confidant in our trust that Mr Hyland and his team were caring for our home. It is almost a year since the work was done, and the painting job still looks fresh. Highly recommend Mr Hyland and his team.

Hyland Home Services just cleaned the gutters and removed the debris off my roof. They have done this for me a few times before. Not only was I happy with their work, I felt comfortable having them do the work when I wasn’t there. All they needed was to be able to use my hose. When I got home the job had been done. There wasn’t a trace that they had been there. They did not leave a mess and the hoses were all coiled up. The house looks so much better with out the fallen sticks on the roof and debris hanging out of the gutters. The price was very reasonable. Now I only need to remember to ask them to make arrangements for them to come next fall. Thank you Jim!
