I hired Deck Envy to tear down two existing decks and replace them. They came out and went over everything and made suggestions that’s improved both decks. They explained everything and were at a fair price. The guys cleaned up every day and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new deck. We had a great experience working with Deck Envy. Johnny Vo was easy to communicate with. He was responsive, clear, and professional throughout the entire project, helping us even with an imperfect plat. His team built a beautiful wood and Trex composite deck with quality workmanship and attention to detail. They worked quickly and efficiently too, if it weren’t for the wait on the Loudoun inspector, they probably would’ve finished in just two days. Everything was done thoroughly and to a high standard. Deck Envy did a fantastic job on our deck, removing our old deck and building a Trex deck exactly as we envisioned. They partnered with us on the design, giving expert guidance and patiently helping us work toward decisions. They also took care of all the permitting, which made things easy. And they pointed out when they noticed long-standing water damage behind portions of our siding alongside the old deck, which we had no idea about and really appreciated them helping us solve rather than just building over. They also threw in nice touches we didn’t know would be possible (light up features that look awesome at night and we love the safety gate and storage gate beneath the deck) and were communicative, honest, generous with their expertise, and easy to work with throughout. We with had a great experience with Deck Envy and love the finished product!

I just got my new deck and couldn’t be happier. Deck Envy did a fantastic job. I interviewed three contractors to tear down my old rotting deck and build a replacement. Johnny from Deck Envy came out, listened to what we wanted, took pictures and measurements and came back in a few days with a proposal. My neighbor used Deck Envy and were very pleased. The proposal was the lowest of the three contractors. Usually I’m leery of going with the cheapest because I believe you get what you pay for. I decided to take a chance with them. Ricardo and crew came out every day from 7:30 am to 5:30 and worked! Done in a week. Love it! Used Trex Lineage Carmel color with black posts and rails. Stunning. I highly recommend them. You won’t be sorry.

The whole deck replacement with Trex is finished within a week, just in time for us to sit outside before the weather turns cold again. We just canâ t stop looking at the beautiful deck! I would highly recommend Deck Envy for your new deck. My project included removing old Trek deck that had rotted and construct new Trex deck with same dimensions. Johnny was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable when he arrived for the estimate. He reached out the next day with a list of options that I could choose from, and I received my contract that evening. Once I signed my contract, he was already preparing the HOA paperwork and utility company to mark gas lines. Even tho they completed the patio to specifications as outlined in our contract, we asked them to adjust the trim. I hired Deck Envy to remove an old, decaying wood deck, build a new composite deck and construct a stone patio on the lower level yard below the deck. I wish I had found them sooner! The entire process was remarkable in that there were no hiccups, no Cons, only Pros, I have had numerous construction jobs with various companies and the experiences led me to believe there is no perfect job, that there will always be something that does not go smoothly, or that needs correction, and a 5.0 superb experience with a major project is an impossibility. Deck Envy changed my mind. This task had been daunting to me, I had received a few estimates from other companies over the past couple years and was so overwhelmed with those companies and their long exhaustive estimate processes, and their high prices, I was burning out. I would put the project on the back burner and felt like it would never get done. I heard about Deck Envy from a friend and instantly after contacting Johnny I knew that I was in good hands. He was responsive, met with me soon after contact, and provided the most detailed estimate I have ever received from any contractor for any project, yet it was clear to understand and comprehensive of the scope of work. The price was fantastic as well. Not only was it considerably better than any other estimates, but it was for higher quality and more upgrades than the other companies quoted, including a better product line of Trex, using a stronger load-bearing beam so as to minimize post obstruction on the patio below, and deck lighting. The permit and HOA paperwork were completed and received astoundingly fast, within days, and to top it off they began the job earlier than we expected, much to my delight. The crew worked efficiently and neatly, both with removing the old deck and clearing debris, and with building the new deck. The daily progress was remarkable to observe. The second crew which constructed the patio worked diligently and neatly as well, even working through consistent rainfall by using tarps above them. I thought how brilliant and demonstrative of ethic, when most contractors could have easily used the excuse of bad weather delays, which I would have naturally understood. These guys took it to the next level, above and beyond expectations when they could have clearly not. Every single one of their crew who worked on this project was upstanding, professional, respectful and personable. Communication throughout was top-notch, I received consistent daily updates and I was never left wondering what to expect.. Finally, and most importantly,, the finished product was completed absolutely perfectly, without a single blemish. Johnny knew I was hopeful to have the project completed in time for a special event, and although I cut it close with timing, they ensured it was completed ahead of schedule. Johnny and Ricardo were an absolute pleasure to work with, in every regard. I can save you the trouble of interviewing and vetting companies: just call them! Our project was a deck teardown and patio installation. We had zero problems with this team. From our first meeting with Johnny Vo, subsequent meetings with Ricardo throughout the project, and daily conversations with Fabian, they were truly top-notch professionals. The crew was also outstanding. They worked fast, they were very neat, and it was easy to tell that they had a lot of experience working together. At times we communicated via text messages, and they always responded in a rapid manner. We are very happy with our finished product, which was completed on time. These guys are the best and we will hire them again in the future!

Johnny Vo came out and helped us assess what we wanted, offering helpful suggestions and giving us all the choices for design. He gave us a complete summary of work to be done for our HOA to approve. Ricardo, his business partner, is the actual brain behind the deck construction. His deck crew of 3 led, by Alfonso, showed up on time every day and left at 5:00. We heard lots of laughs during their hard work. They were impressively skillful and knew exactly how to do the job. They were a cheerful hard working crew. Plus, they cleaned up every day at 5:00. When the upper deck was finished, we had the bottom patio covered with flagstone. Fabian and his crew were so precise it was like a work of art, fitting all the stones into the footprint. Communication throughout the entire project was stellar! We are extremely happy with our finished deck and I would highly recommend Johnny and Ricardo for your next deck project.
