Their technician is always pleasant. They always call and put you on a schedule. They are very knowledgeable.

I knew what I wanted because I had already done some research. They had a little bit of a challenge when it came to the installation. I was hoping that they would be more conscious about the installation but it went well. He was able to fix the problem when I told him about it.

We were able to get other estimates for the repair. Brennan's was the best, and they lived up to their Angie's list reputation.

A very pleasant and professional experience from the estimate to the finished work. The estimator was happy to spend as much time with us as needed to answer all our questions and explain the proposed work. The estimate was quite fair and the company was open to some negotiation. The work was scheduled only one week after acceptance of the contract. The installation crew arrived exactly on time, as promised, and completed the work within the 6-8 hours estimated. The installers were most friendly and courteous; they even put on shoe/boot coverings to protect the floors/carpet when they came into our house to perform some of the work (without being asked). I have used this company once before (13-years ago) and would do it again. They are pros!!

Gari was great in identifying and rectifying the issue. He was very professional and very friendly. He fixed the wire causing the short and replaced the fuse. He also analyzed the condition of the A/c and gave us good recommendation to replace the equipment in the future.

The installation crew, Dwayne and Jeff, arrived right on time at 8:30 the following morning and went right to work. they estimated they would be done by 4:00. It was a significant amount of work but the old system was removed, the new system installed and checked out by 3:00. They were courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and careful in their work and did not cause any damage to the house or leave any mess behind. We are very pleased with the result, the new system exceeds our expectations and will give us many years of improved service.

estimate provided by Brennan was far from competitive and in fact, astronomical seems to be a better fit. Had the feeling they were trying to sell us stuff we didn't want nor needed. Every time we tried to ask questions, the sales person would talk over us in a semi-aggressive manner. He did not want to talk to my wife and seemed to dance around some of the questions and concerns we had. The company does not use email and insisted on sending us the estimate via snail mail. Argent is the way to go!

Our heat pump went out on us on a bitterly cold day. I called Brennan and they had someone out there within about an hour. It turned out we had some kind of an oil leak that had caused some improperly installed wires to short out. Upon a more thorough examination, he discovered that our more serious problem was that we had a freon leak(we had to have our freon recharged last Summer). He explained that this would cause a problem in the future because they would not be permitted by law to recharge this type of freon beginning in 2010. My choice was to pay for some repairs now, as well as some more expensive repairs in the near future, or just go ahead and replace it now and take advantage of having a better, more efficient system(that will hopefully offset some of our costs). I was at work while all this was done, and we were able to do everything very quickly and efficiently over the phone, with my teenage son overseeing things at home. He came on Friday, and the new system was installed three days later on Monday. I suspect that with some research we probably could have spent less money, but I was willing to spend a little more to get a reputable company and a good brand(Carrier).

They came out, I explained what had been happening, they found loose clamps holding the fuses and said that could be the reason for them blowing all the time. They thoroughly inspected the whole HVAC system and since it was over 20 years old and not maintained, it did have some issues. We went over the different options for replacement and I was leaning towards replacing the unit, so didn't have them fill the freon which was low. The team came out in a week, on my next day off, were professional, completed the install in one day, cleaned up after themselves and since they were walking in and out of my backyard and it was muddy, it created a mess but they cleaned up everything. The way my townhouse is situated made it difficult for them to carry the heat pump unit to the back yard, but they did it without complaint. At the same time, I had them schedule duct cleaning, which they contract out, but I had that done about 2 weeks after the install. I don't recall the name of the company that did that offhand. The system was fine for about 2 weeks, then the fuses blew again. Of course, it was New Year's Day, but Brennans sent a technician out and he said all looked fine, but that the fuses that were in the box were not the right size (I think they put them in, but could have been ones from before the install that I put in) so he replaced them and said if it happened again, that it may be an electrical problem and that I should then have an electrician out. That was disappointing after spending so much on a new HVAC system, but know that troubleshooting can be like looking for a needle in a haystack, just eliminating one issue at a time. I have not received an electric bill since the install, but am hopeful I will see the 33% savings that they said should happen with the new, more efficient unit. In any case, I am happy with it, think I got a fair price (I picked the unit in the middle of the price range).

Our 25-year old HVAC system was on the verge of collapse. The heating was cycling every 30 seconds. I had a rough estimate that Brennan had given me in October. So, I called Brennan for a firm estimate at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (I was comfortable with a phone estimate because I had done a LOT of research). I spoke with Ron Brooks who was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and clear on his explanations. Brennan's price came right in the middle. They agreed to work with me on the partial installation and Ron even volunteered to come to home on Saturday (A day that they are typically do not work) to sign the contract. As agreed, two technicians were at my home at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. They struggled - I have very little space and a lot of work was required to bring the HVAC to code and to fit in the tight space. They even agreed to stop working a few minutes so that I could clean the area under the 25-year furnace (dirty...)! They were done by 5:00 p.m. They did not clean very well after themselves (but again, I like things very clean). They gave us an explanation of the work and showed us how to use the thermostat. I must say that the installers were VERY young (they must have been right out of High School), so I was very apprehensive. Around 1:00 p.m. another technician arrived to assist them. Although the furnace has only been running for a few hours, all of us believe that it is working pretty well. We'll know better in the weeks to come.

Very well. We had a leak from the old humidifier. I went to Brennan's store/shop on Monday and spoke with Mike, who recommended a service call. The Tuesday (the next morning), the technician arrived and analyzed the situation. He recommended a new humidifier; the leaking one was 15 years old. I decided to have a new one installed, which was accomplished on Wednesday (the following) morning. The installers were great, clean, and cooperative. They cleaned up after themselves and explained the new system to me.

The guy who came seemed very honest and helpful. This company was easy to get in touch with and make my appointment. They were able to set the appointment based on my schedual. The furnace unit has been working well since the service.

They are on time when it comes to the seasonal maintenance. The service people that they send out are really good and knowledgeable. I can request the person I want to come and that's the person that will service my unit, because he is really familiar with it. I really like that I can request the person I like.

It was a positive experience until they tried to take advantage of the old folks. I think that s where we found out why we were having these problems. My nephew fixed it once and for all. We found someone who made it work and we don t have problems anymore. They were going to sell us a whole new unit.

Furnace was not lighting properly. Serviceman was quick to respond and replaced the igniter fairly quickly. He was very professional and personable. Furnace now works fine. My only complaint is he charged me $177 for the igniter and $94 for the service call. I looked up the price of the igniter on the internet and the exact same one sells for $49. Seems to me this is way too much of a mark-up for this item. I might use them again, however I am very concerned about possible price gouging here.

They are friendly, prompt and clean. They have fair prices. The men will cover their shoes when they come in the house. They are reliable and do honest work.

Brennan's is very thorough in their fall and spring inspections. They have saved us from needing new air pumps by noticing that the lawn maintenance people were cutting the coils when they trimmed around the units. They make recommendations for additional services but are not pushy. We have had no problems with our equipment over the ten years we've used them.

They just replaced two heaters and pumps for us. They did a good job and were easy to work with. They are conscientious, and we will keep using them for the job.

The 25 year old compressor finally failed in the early June 2008 heat wave. All the HVAC companies were extremely busy, but a Brennan tech was available on a Sunday (at a premium rate) and, after trying to contact a number of companies on Monday, we had a Brennan tech come out on Monday evening. After trying to revive it, the old unit was determined to be unrepairable and we inquired about a new unit which the service tech spent all the time we needed to tell us about new system(s), in 95 degree heat! This, in itself, was above the call of duty as, when we finished at 7:30pm, he still had another call to go to. We actually had been researching this project for about a year and we contracted with Brennan that evening (Monday) to install a new Carrier Infinity 19 SEAR heat pump system. The earliest date promised at the signing of the contract was 11 days in the future, but the tech, now sales rep, told us that we might get an earlier date if there were any cancellations. As a benefit to buying a new unit, Brennan loaned us and installed a window air conditioning unit (which became available on Tuesday), so that we could use our home (outside temperatures were in the high 90's that week and the interior of the home was now not that much different!). True to the sales rep's word, the company called a day later to say they could install the system in a couple of days (Friday). The two man team showed up exactly at the promised time. There was a third "runner" to go for supplies as needed so the install techs could keep working. The owner's son also came by to survey and monitor the installation requirements and progress. The installation techs, working in 90 degree temperatures in and outside the home, were knowledgeable and efficient, even given the curve ball of having to drill through a blue stone foundation. Installation was completed by 6pm, and we were given a tutorial on how to manage and program the system control unit. All construction debris was picked up and carried away, and finally the window unit was removed. Except for new equipment, you'd never know they were on the property. After our experience, I felt comfortable recommending Brennan Heating and Air Conditioning to my father whose 40 year old gas furnace and compressor was also on their last legs. Brennan installed a new system for my father using the same install team and with the same excellent installation experience. Approximately 2 months later, both systems are working perfectly.

It was good, installation went well, they knew what they were doing.

My A/C condensation system backed up on Sunday. After following repair suggestions given to me on Sunday by an on-call technician who was too booked up for a service call, I realized it could not be repaired and talked with Brennan's on Monday morning about installing a new system. They scheduled me for the same day. The technician arrived after the time window I had been given, but the company informed me early that he would be delayed. When he arrived, he was polite and knowledgeable and explained to me what he could do. He gave me a verbal price estimate. (Since I did not get other estimates, I cannot judge how the price would compare to other providers. It seemed fair to me.) He did the work quickly and competently. Afterward, he explained how the system works and instructed me on maintaining it. I was very satisfied with their service and plan to use them in the future.

It was very good. I really liked the man. He had some suggestions on some things we could do to change our system so it functions better because it keeps getting clogged. I called them because they were highly rated on Angie's List. They were on time, polite and explained things well.
